Aphmau nervously bit her lip as she watched the other students run to their friend groups and hug, and the boys slap each other on the back and chest bump and even some of her fellow freshmen had their friends from middle school! But here she was, standing in the middle of the lunchroom by herself.

Cause the moment you arrive they all leave the table

Cheeks burning, aphmau decided to go and sit at a random table after seeing the way some upperclassmen were staring and laughing. But as soon as she sat down and looked up, she was met with the mean looks and scoffs from the upperclassmen who left after she'd sat down.

Calling me everything but my name

It'd been a few weeks since school started, and things had kinda been looking up for aphmau. She'd made a few friends and she had a least one class with all of them! But most good things eventually come to an end. As she was walking to class a few other students were snickering while pointing at her. One even had the audacity to call her a pinche perra.

Need I remind you again just call me Rachel

“Actually Jorge, my name is aphmau. What would your mamí think if she heard her precious ángel calling someone these horrible names? Hm?” she smirked seeing his caramel skin turn it a ghastly pale.

"Mi Amor, you're back, how was school?”Sylvanna asked, giving her a daughter s bright smile seeing her walk through the door.

“hi mamí. School was fine, I got an a plus on my werewolf test today.” she awkwardly said giving a tight lipped smile.

“that's good! I'm going to finish cleaning up here then we could watch a movie if you're up for it sí?”

Aphmau nodded before quickly going up to her room and collapsing on her bed, letting the tears silently roll down her face..

I won't let it get to me no more

The next day she complained about not feeling well to her mother. Her mom fretted over her, cooking her soup, placing medicine and Kleenex on her night stand before finally setting off for work.

She just stayed curled up in bed, everything untouched except the kleenex.

I can't believe I let it go so far
No no, it's not okay

After a few days, when she came back to school, she'd found out that her bullies had gone for her not -alone- buddy Travis.

She'd found him and Dante in a peculiar situation in the boys locker room. Travis had his head on Dante's chest halfway on his lap while the older had his cheek on Travis’s hair hugging him tightly. They'd both let out girlish screams leaving her in howling laughter before she demanded an explanation.

No way would she let her friends be bullied.

As aphmau hastily walked trying to get to class on time, she hears light sobbing as soon as she turned the corner.

Once fully around the corner, she found a small werewolf huddled in the corner where plants were usually placed.

From the way he was curled up, she could see he had deep black hair, a paler complexion, and dark blue ears with a tail to match.

Aphmau walked up to him, even once she was crouching next to him, he was still unaware of her presence. “Hi I'm Aphmau. I heard you crying around the corner, are you okay?”

The werewolf flinched when she gently touched his shoulder, beginning to panic he roughly shoved her away from him further curling further into himself.

“Hey, it's okay. I'm not going to hurt you.” she gently whispered, coming back towards him.

“What's your name? I'm Aphmau.”

A muffled, barely audible voice whispered out. “Ein.”

She softly smiled, “Nice to meet you.”

Aphmau helped Ein up only to be met with other werewolves snarling at him.

“Well, Well, is the wittle Omega cowering behind a human?” Derek, she thinks his name is was, taunts as the others laugh.

“Pathetic excuse for a werewolf. And you're from the Western wolf tribe? Your parents purposely did that.” Celia hissed, poking at his main insecurity.

“That's enough. Leave him alone, or I'll personally make sure alpha's called.” it was the mention of their alpha that made them all scramble.

“Hey are you guys okay?” Aphmau nodded, thanking him.

“Yeah, we're good uh?”

“Blaze.”

“Well thank you Blaze. I'm sure Ein appreciates it to.” They both turned to him, but only Aphmau started to snicker seeing him avert his eyes with his cheek flushed a bright red.

“Right Ein?” she urged, giving him a knowing look. His cheeks burned more as he dumbly nodded.

“T-thank you Blaze.”

Loud mouth, cafeteria star

“Not a problem! Do you wanna go to nurse? Your face is really red.” he asked, crouching down to feel his forehead.

“I'm okay. Let's g-go to lunch.”

“Look, it's a whore and a pathetic excuse for a werewolf. The perfect friend group!” Celia cackled, the others following suit.

“Shut the fuck up dumb bitch.” she muttered under her breath, but the other guy girl heard it anyways.

Maybe somebody was cruel to you
So you think that's what you're supposed to do

“The fuck did you say to me?!” she shrieked, face turning red from anger as she got in Aphmau's face.

“You heard me. I said shut the fuck up dumb bitch.” she hissed, stepping closer to the other girl.

A loud smack made it's away around the lunchroom as it fell dead quiet.

One day, it might be you

When everyone leaves when you walk in the room
I just hope they forgive you

Celia's group began snickering and cheering her on while she spoke to the Latina.

“Watch who you're talking to.” But as Celia turns around, she too , receives a slap to her own face.

And this time her group remained quiet with the rest of the lunchroom.

“Katelyn? What the hell are you doing?!” A red-head by the name of Nicole hissed, tried to grab her arm before she did something she'd regret.

Obviously it didn't work, seeing as she slapped Celia and roughly pushed past her, to get to the two freshman on the floor.

I can't believe I let it go so far
No no, it's not okay

“Unacceptable behavior! Miss Dragon, I expect it from you, but miss firearm, never from you!”

Apparently at some time the office had been informed of the situation.

“Both of you are coming to the office, and from there we will discuss the appropriate punishment!”

“Wait! Katelyn only stepped in because of me. She was standing up for me!”

Principal Layla turned and gave a small hum. “Is that so? Well I'm going to need you and your friend to come as well.”

It was the end of the day, hours after actually. It'd taken a while to calm everyone down, but the parents were a whole other story. Even if they were over the phone.

“I did, you stood up for me and Ein. I can't thank you enough for it.”

She opens her mouth but gets cut off by a kiss on the cheek from Aphmau.

Suddenly she hears her dad yell, “C’mon Katie!”

I take requests and I'm working on a few other one shots and deleting the useless author note chapters and editing other one shots.
