Nerys Pov
When I got to the wall I see my friend Winter but before I can ask Jess to open the gate I hear Adam and Skylar yelling for Jess to open the gate. I don't get why they care Adam never met Winter and I know very little about Skylar so I don't get why she wants to see Winter. "Alright, let her in." Jess said with an exasperated tone when she realizes what I'm wearing. I shrug off the notion and run down to see Winter.

Adam Pov
Skylar and I get very excited when we see Winter at the gate. When the gate is opened Skylar and I run down to her as Nerys follows. "Skylar its been to long. Wait Sky?" She said in a questioning voice. "Hi" I say back to her question. Just then Nerys came up behind me. "Lieutenant Brine" she says slightly jokingly but also seriously.  "Why are you here?" "Sergeant Washington, I am here on Lord Shad's orders. He wants to know if you and Sir Ross have heard from 'her'" said Winter with malcontent. " Yes I-" said Nerys before she could finish I butted in. " Hang on one minute are you talking about Irene also Nerys Sergeant you never told us." "Oops guess i forgot plus you could have just have asked Ross. Anyway Winter, yes I have seen Irene recently why did dad realize that hiding that she is our mom was a bad idea. Oh, yeah Ross by the way Irene's our mom." Nerys said. "Oh, sh*t Jess what time is it?" "Almost three, why?" Jess questions. "Okay ummm what way is the plaza?" Nerys asked nervously. "That way" Jess pointed "Wh-" "Thanks." Nerys she said as she sprinted off. "What was that about?" I ask. "That" said a voice from the shadows said "was your friend not telling you she got her into a duel to the death with the brown haired guard with me" as Kate stepped out of the shadows. "as her second. Sorry I forgot to tell you and she was to scared to ask you guys." Kate said solemnly. "No, she can't she'll lose control she'll actually kill the guy! We have to stop her!" yells Ross. "Don't worry about Laurence" says Jin. He's been so quiet since we got here I almost forgot he was here. "He's a shadow knight under Nerys's command. He's been in enough fights with her he knows what he's doing." "Jin how did you know Laurence's name and that he's a shadow knight." Jess asks looking completely confused. "Not important." Jin says. He's hiding something I can tell it.  "Alright guys we need to get to the plaza to watch the duel and Jin you will explain how you know all of this when this is over and done with." I say because I'm concerned about him.

Nerys Pov

Oh no, I'm running late Laurence will hold this over my head for the rest of time. Ugh, why did even bother challenging me to a duel to the death neither of us can die so it won't be fun. "Laurence if I could I would kill you." I say aloud. I hear someone running behind me I turn my head to see Kate catching up to me. "Did you tell them?" I ask. "Yeah I did Jin knows" Kate says "How?" She asks. "Can't tell you sorry." I tell her. "It's fine but I do want an explanation later."   Kate says. "Deal" I responded.

Laurence POV

I see Nerys and her second run in. "Goodness Nerys you I almost thought you were to chicken" I say as I pick up a chicken "to come to the fight." Garroth snickers behind me. Just then Aphmau and the rest of Nerys's friends run into the plaza and of course that means all the villagers come as well creating a scene. "Goodness Laurence I thought you hated having your butt beat in public unless it's by Garroth." Causing Garroth and Laurence to blush so much they look like tomatoes. "Hey!" Yells Garroth in a high squeaky voice while Kate and I are doubled over in laughter. " Can we just start this already. Please." I ask desperately. No one except Garroth, Nerys, and apparently Kate now, knows I'm gay. (Deal with it I ship Gaurence. There will only be fluffy adorable stuff.) "Yea, sure let's put some rules first. Garroth and Kate aren't aloud to interfere unless the worse happens. No insane transformations from any of us to shift the fight. Finally, if Kate and Garroth want they can have their own battle. Sound fair?" Nerys asks. "Almost, but I wish to add a wager to this fight.  If I win you tell everyone what and who you are." I say. "And if I win," adds Nerys "you and Garroth have to tell everyone your guys' secret. Deal?" as she extends her hand as sign of agreement. "Deal." as I reluctantly shake her hand. "Good, let's begin."

Nerys POV

I am so excited for this. I can't wait. "Let's go." I say as we draw our weapons and charge at each other.

Laurence POV

Uggggh Nerys is so cocky. I will show her how much stronger I am.

Hey my hybrids I'm so sorry for the long time between updates but I just recently switched schools and had to adjust to the new school. So I gave you guys an extra long chapter hope you enjoyed. Other characters and more drawings are coming soon thanks so much for all your guys' support. I couldn't do it without you guys.  Fight scene next chapter I'll try not to make it such a long wait next time.
