So this one's a Zane headcanon but it's an MCD headcanon

We all know that Zane has an extreme infatuation with relics as well as different types of power that can be given to him in an object

I have a serious headcanon that I don't think it's ever going to be true but I just want to get this off my chest

So a lot of people think that Zane was under a trance of some sort when he did all the horrible things he had some people still think he is under a trance but it's slowly working his way out

And that's going to come into play in this headcanon I do believe that Zane was in Magic like trance throughout his time being you know evil

And I think the reason why he needs that power from relics of all sorts and why he wants to gain more and more power such as the Irene power as we all know he trying to obtain

It's cuz he wants to have or wants to bring someone back
I think Zane did have a lover someone who was there for him when his father did nothing but corrupt, his brothers run away and his mother forgot

I think in all that time Zane did have someone who loved him truly
And I do believe that Zane tried to run away with him but his plan was foiled and I think the person who was to foil the plan was either

Or
Katelyn

And I do believe that's why he had such hatred for those two particular people
I believe that either one of them informed about Zane and his lovers plan to leave and never return just like his other brothers

To start anew what's his lover and start a family away from all of this corruption and hatred

But because the information was given to Lord garte lord garte caught him in the act before leaving he trapped both and forced Zane to kill his lover

(PS I do believe that Zane's lover was a male I think Zane wanted a stronger being to protect him from all the horrible things that happened to him
And that's exactly what his lover did and wanted to do before the cruel execution )

The way he made Zane go under that control was through manipulation of the Mind such as the same manipulation people think Zane is still under

I think Zane is trying to get enough power to bring his lover back or at least have the same power as his lover did I do believe his lover was some sort of magic user and the strong sort

I believe his lovers Spirit follows him around trying to get him out of this trance telling him to become more powerful because the more powerful Zane becomes the more in touch becomes with his actual self and the more the mind-control  brakes

Of course this is just a headcanon that I have and I really hope it happens

Not only that but it's obvious that Zane doesn't want shade to regain the Relic he upholds at the moment

WHAT IF LIKE HIM AND ZANE WERE SECRET FRIENDS WHEN THEY WERE YOUNGERAND ZANE SHOWS HIM HOW TO GET STRONG BY TEACHING HIM FROM BOOKS HE WOULD READ OMI I NEED TO DRAW HOW I THINK THIS CHARACTER WILL LOOK
