(Outlands 8:30 pm)

Brendan, who was a 5'7 African American male, was currently headed to his friends Ty Joon Park's house who he called Nekro considering it was his secret identity for being the worldwide known hacker throughout the Outlands. As he was walking there were many men in suits walking passed him before he was suddenly stopped by two of them "Can I help you?" He asked them while raising an eyebrow.

"Yes, we were wondering if you wanted to be apart of an experiment at Hammond Robotics?" They asked him as he frowned and shook his head "Not interested" He said and walked passed them. One of them snapped their fingers and suddenly he felt something get shot into his neck which was an electrocution dart that shocked him and caused him to pass out.

(Hammon Robotics Laboratory)

He slowly woke up with a small headache before seeing him strapped down to a table with some wires attached to his body and saw a heartbeat monitor which showed his heart beating faster from fear. "Welcome, Mr. Martin" Brendan looked over and saw a man with glasses and a lab coat on.

"Where the hell am I?!" He yelled out as the man chuckled "You're beneath Hammond Robotics in a laboratory where no one can hear you scream" He said as Brendan kept struggling to get himself free before feeling something be attached to his head before hearing a female robotic voice say "Project Revenant begins" and then began to scream in pain feeling electricity all over his body as he spasmed on the table.

The man watched him writhe in pain as he looked over at one of the scientists "Bring the electricity levels up Rean" He said but Rean looked concerned "Wouldn't that kill him, Mr. Singh?" He asked. "Do as I say!" He yelled as Rean turned the power-up making Brendan scream louder in pain before fainting and heard a flatline of the heartbeat monitor. 

"Throw him in with the other ones," The man said walking away as Rean turned the power off and walked over to Brendan's body and then heard the heartbeat monitor beat slowly "You're still alive?" He mumbled. 

(Inside Brendan's Mind)

Brendan opened his eyes looking around seeing nothing but darkness "Am I dead?" He asked himself. "Not even close," A deep and dark voice said which made Brendan look around "Who was that, Where are you?" He called out as the voice chuckled "Look at the mirror lately?" The voice said as a mirror appeared in front of Brendan and saw something else instead of his reflection

"What the hell?" He said as the robot looked back with his cold eyes "So they decided to try and bring me back to life for the thousandth time it seems" "Who are you?" Brendan asked as the robot let out what seemed a sigh "Didn't you hear the female voice from before?".

Brendan began to think for a few seconds "I'm guessing your Revenant" He said as the now named Revenant nodded "At least most of the skinsuits they revived me with is smart" He said as Brendan chuckled a little "So if I'm not dead, why are you here?" "We're in your mind and I'm here because I'm now within your consciousness," Revenant said as Brendan nodded before waking up.

(Outside of Brendan's Mind)

Rean began to try and shake Brendan awake as the man came back in the lab with two guards at his side "Mr. Arseid it seems that we need to make some adjustments to our operation, and sadly you won't be apart of it" He said as Rean looked over at Brendan's body seeing it was gone but then heard grunts and gagging as he turned around and saw a tall robot with a small triple fully automatic barrel shotgun in its hand while holding Singh in the air with his hand around his throat.

"This isn't possible" Singh managed to choke out as the robot chuckled "Anything is possible if you keep being brought back to life," It said before snapping Singh's neck and dropped his body as smoke appeared around it and turned into Brendan who fell on the ground unconscious.

Rean walked over to Brendan and helped him up "It worked" He said as he then picked Brendan up and began to run outside of the laboratory to a certain person he knows. Which happens to be Nekro.
