(Outlands Bar Alleyway)

"And stay out!" A man yelled out after throwing an African-American male out of the bar who had dreadlocks that were in a low ponytail over his shoulder as he got up and groaned "Jackass" He said with a noticeable Jamaican accent and drunken slur as he looked down the alleyway seeing a portal open up and four people walk out.

"Where the hell are we?" Nekro said while holding his stomach after going through the portal. "Seems like an alleyway," Rean said as they saw a man down the alleyway. "Hey there, you guys need something?" He asked while stumbling, 'Great a drunk' Revenant mumbled, "Yeah where are we?" Brendan asked "You're in the back of the Outlands shittiest bar," He said as he walked over and wrapped his arm around Brendan's shoulder "Names Tunbuto but my friends call me Swich" "Your friends call you bitch?" Nekro said as he was paying no attention and the now named Swich coughed a bit.

"Anywho, If you need anyone to show you around this place here's my card," He said before Brendan felt a tap on his shoulder as he looked over and saw another Swich standing next to him and handed him a card which he took as the clone disappeared "You can clone yourself?" Rean said.

"Yup perks of being the son of Elliott Witt," Swich said as Wraith walked over to him "You're Mirage's son?" She asked as Swich nodded "Yup, why do you guys know each other?" He asked her as Wraith looked away "We used to date but in my timeline" She said as Swich nodded "Now he's married to my mother Ajay Che also known as Lifeline".

Brendan looked at Wraith seeing that she looked a bit sad but managed to hide it 'Catching feelings boy?' Revenant said as Brendan blushed 'Not at all' He said making Revenant chuckle 'Whatever you say' He said before Swich cleared his throat. "Anyway, I will see you guys later," Swich said before walking off "He was strange" Rean said as Nekro shrugged. "He seemed annoying as hell".

Brendan walked over to Wraith and put his hand on her shoulder "You doing okay?" He asked her as she nodded "I'm okay" She said as Rean walked up "Is there anywhere we can go to now?" He asked as Nekro sighed "My mother lives around here, we can stay there until now" He said as they followed him.

(Wattson's House)

Wattson, who was now 29, was currently fixing one of her electrical fences as there was a knock at her door as she walked over and opened the door before getting a big smile on her face. "Mon fils! (My son!)" She said in French as Nekro smiled at her. "Bonjour Maman (Hello mom)" He replied in French "What're doing here? Is there something you need?" She asked him.

"My friends and I need a place to stay," Nekro said as Brendan, Rean, and Wraith walked inside "Wraith?" Wattson said in surprise "Hey Wattson" Wraith said back with a smile as they both hugged each other. 'This is disgusting' Revenant said as Brendan chuckled 'Well too bad you gotta deal with it' He said as Revenant groaned before going silent.

"There's also something you should know mom," Nekro said as Wattson looked over at him "Oui?" Nekro called Brendan over as he walked up and looked at Wattson before turning into Revenant who had his arms crossed "Hello again Wattson" He said as she frowned "Is that you Revenant?" She said as he nodded "I have another host that I'm going to stay in but I still want to die" Revenant as Wattson frowned even more "You do realize that if you kill yourself then you'll kill Brendan because you're both connected now".

"I could care less if he dies, I want to stop being brought back to life," He said as Brendan heard everything and had a frown as he forcefully turned back to normal. "I'll be outside," He said as he walked out of the house and climbed up to the roof.

(In Brendan's Mind)

"You're going to kill me?!" Brendan yelled at Revenant who simply stared at him "I want to die because I'm tired of being brought back to life and used for other people's personal gain!" He yelled back as Brendan groaned and turned away "I really thought I could trust you but you're just using me!" Revenant wrapped his hand around Brendan's throat and lifted him up in the air. "I could kill you right here and now without a single thought but I'm going to because I could still use a host for the time being," Revenant said before dropping Brendan who coughed.

"You're a piece of shit," Brendan said as Revenant chuckled "Tell me something I don't know," He said before walking away.

(Outside of Brendan's mind)

Wraith phased onto the roof seeing Brendan sitting there while rubbing his throat as she saw that there was a red mark "How did the talk with Revenant go?" She asked suddenly as Brendan jumped and looked over at her "Just found out that he was using me as a host before letting me die" He said as Wraith frowned "Sounds just like him" She said while sitting next to him.

Revenant was paying close attention to their conversation as he sighed and shook his head 'What is this skinsuit making me think about' He thought to himself before going silent again.

Wraith and Brendan heard something as they looked up and heard an announcement from the intercom. "SIGN UP FOR THE APEX GAMES TOMORROW, FOR THE SPECIAL FIVE MAN TEAM EVENT!!" Rean and Nekro came onto the roof. "Special five-man event? That's a first" Rean said as Brendan nodded "If we compete whose gonna be our fifth man?" Nekro said as Brendan pulled out the card Swich gave him "I know someone" He said.

(With Swich)

Swich was currently in the bar as he was drinking before getting a phone call as he answered: "This is Tunbuto but my friends call me Swich what can I help you with?" "Sup It's Brendan and I wanted to know if you wanted to compete in the five-man Apex Games with me and my friends," Brendan said over the phone as Swich sat up "Sure why not," Swich said as he got up and walked out of the bar.

(Back with Brendan)

Brendan and the others were waiting before there was a knock at the door as he got up and answered it seeing Swich was at the door "Sup man" Brendan said as they fist-bumped and went to sit on the couch "So I'm guessing this is the five-man team that we have?" Swich said as Rean nodded "Rean S. Arseid at your service" He said while bowing "Tyson Joon Park but call me Nekro" "Renee Blasey but call me Wraith" She said as he nodded "Brendan Martin" He said as he transformed. "Call me Revenant skinsuit," Revenant said as Swich jumped before nodding.

"So you guys ready to train first?" Brendan said after turning back to normal. They all nodded as he smiled and held his fist out for everyone as they all bumped fists ready to start training.
