(Nekro's Hidden Apartment)

Rean managed to make it to Nekro's apartment as he walked in while carrying Brendan and saw that no one was inside of the house. "Set him on the couch," An emotionless voice said that made Rean jump and look over, seeing Nekro at his desk looking at a computer that had access to all the cameras in the area.

"How's it going, Ty" "Looking to make sure no one followed you here," He said while looking through the cameras before standing up as he sighed and scratched his head watching Rean sit Brendan down on the couch "So I'm guessing the operation worked?" He asked as Rean nodded "Yeah, It was terrifying to witness but also fascinating" He commented before watching smoke appear and cover Brendan as Revenant appeared as he stood up "Be grateful I'm allowing you to live".

"I'm sorry Revenant, I wanted to stop the operations but I couldn't" "I don't care for your apology, but I do want you to know that my main goal is to die because I'm tired of being continuously brought back to life. I want to rest in peace" Revenant said while crossing his arms and then looked at Nekro "I know your father, I used to see him in the Apex games". "Cool, but did I ask?" Nekro said while raising an eyebrow and had a lazy smartass smirk.

"I hate you already," Revenant said before turning back into Brendan who held his head "I'm never gonna get used to that," He said before looking at Nekro "Sup Ty, who's this?" He said while pointing at Rean. "Rean S. Arseid, former Hammond Robotics scientist at your service" He introduced himself while doing a small bow. "Brendan Martin, anyway can anyone explain to me why the fuck I have an evil bloodthirsty robot in my mind?" 'Fuck you'.

"Well Mr. Martin that said evil robot is Revenant who was a former mercenary turned into a simulacrum, we had to secure him because we couldn't control him and had his mind be made into brain patterns and had numerous operations to see if anyone who he possessed could control him". Brendan looked at his hands and then at Rean. "So I'm one of the many people who now has his mind in their body?" He said as Rean nodded.

'Well, there my chance to compete in the Apex games' He thought to himself. 'Actually, this makes it better for you to compete in the Apex games my bloodlust can be satisfied, and I'll teach you how to use my powers' 'Really? Thanks, Revenant' He said to him as Revenant just grunted and went silent.

"Well I'm going to go back to the laboratory so I can dig deeper about Revenant," Brendan said as they looked at each other "We're coming with you so you can have some backup," Nekro said as he grabbed his phone and put it in his pocket and Rean pulled out some glasses and put them on as they had a button on the side "What do your glasses do Rean?" Brendan asked, "These glasses allow me to scan any area around us and allows me to see through walls if there are any hostiles".

"That sounds like the huntress Bloodhound" "Well that's because she's my mother," Rean said which shocked Nekro and Brendan "Really? What was she like as a parent?" Nekro asked "I can't say because she left me and my father when I was a young boy," He said with sadness in his voice. "Well, wherever she is, I have a feeling she's watching over you to make sure your safe" Brendan said as Rean nodded with a smile. "Let's head out and get there quickly".

(Hammond Robotics Laboratory)

Brendan, Nekro, and Rean were all walking down the corridor of the laboratory looking around making sure to check if anyone was around. "Rean use your scan," Brendan said as Rean nodded and pushed his glasses up more and pressed the button which made a dark orange sonar come out and scan the area as Rean saw that there were no hostiles "It's clear," He said as they nodded and kept walking and walked into the room seeing the bodies of the two guards and Singh as they walked passed them and into a room that had documents about the operation.

Nekro was on his phone looking through the cameras of the laboratory and then saw a blue trail go through one of the cameras "Guys, we got company" He said as they looked up "What is it?" Rean asked "I'm not sure a blue trail is coming our way," Nekro said as Brendan looked around before jumping on the table and jumped onto the wall as he climbed up to a hanging ceiling light and waited as Nekro and Rean hid behind desks.

A few seconds later a woman phased into the room and aimed a 3-round burst assault rifle while looking around and then set it down on the ground.

The woman looked around as the mask on her face came off and went up to a computer and began to go through it as Brendan began was slowly but quickly crawling towards her. 'I wouldn't do that' Revenant said to him 'Why not?' 'I know that woman, she has voices in her head that tells her if something is going to happen to her, so sneaking up on her is not a good idea'

Brendan watched her and then looked over at Nekro who was looking at him and told him to come back which he did but slowly. 'Move!' Revenant suddenly yelled as Brendan heard the click of her gun and the immediately rolled himself over to the right behind a desk to avoid getting shot "Brendan, run!" Rean said as Brendan waited before running out from behind the desk as he felt himself get shot in the shoulder and leg which made him fall and hit the ground but next to Nekro who pulled behind the desk.

"Fuck that hurt!" "I wonder why it hurt dumbass," Nekro said as Rean scanned and saw that she was behind their desk as he looked around before grabbing a knife that one of the guards had and threw it at her as she immediately dodged it and turned to him and aimed at him.

'Revenant what can I do?!' 'Let me take control of your arm' Revenant said as Brendan saw him take control of his left arm and a small orange orb came out as his pinky and index finger bent back and then threw 'Shut it down' Revenant said as it hit the woman and she grunted trying to phase away. 'What was that?' 'It's an ability that I have called silence, Any ability that anyone has I can get rid of for ten seconds'.

"Nekro use the EMP you have!" Brendan said as Nekro pulled out a small orb before throwing it as it glowed for a few seconds before detonating as the woman fell down and went unconscious "Jesus, what was she" Nekro said as he walked over to Rean and Brendan "Apparently she has voices in her head that tell her when something is going to happen to her" Brendan said as they all sat down and sighed.

(Two hours later)

The woman groaned and woke up as she looked up and around seeing Brendan, Nekro, and Rean sitting around a desk as Brendan was playing with an orange orb in his hand before making disappear as he looked over at her "She's awake" He said as Rean walked over to her "Are you, okay miss?" He asked her as she nodded and kept staring at Brendan "You seem familiar" She said.

Brendan chuckled as the left side of his face changed a little.

"I wonder why," He said as his voice and Revenant's voice mixed together before his voice went back to normal "You have Revenant inside of you?" She said "Yup I was forced into an experiment by some man named Singh and now he's dead" He explained as a shadow came out and it was Revenant "Hello again Wraith," He said "It's never good to see you again," The now named Wraith said as Revenant let out a dark chuckle "Whatever, as you can see I'm in his body and I'm going to help him".

"You never helped anyone, all you ever did with your previous hosts was kill them," She said as he shrugged "They were weak and couldn't control my powers," He said as Brendan was overhearing their conversation but then heard a group of people come rushing inside of the building "Guys we gotta go," He said as they heard the footsteps as Wraith opened a portal and Revenant disappeared "Follow me," Wraith said as they ran through the portal.

Not knowing where they were heading.
