(Outlands 8:00 pm)

A man was seen walking into a hotel and walked in the elevator and went to the penthouse in the hotel. He walked out of the elevator and went into the bathroom and began to shave, "You know that our contact is going to call in a few minutes." A dark and gruff voice said as the man chuckled. "I know, but they can wait," The man said as the voice let out a huff. "Of course you would say that Brendan,"

"You know me so well Revenant," Brendan said before wiping his face off and walked out of the bathroom and put on a black and red suit as he then got a phone call and answered it. "Hello Daymond, what do you have for us?" He asked as the man on the phone named Daymond chuckled a bit nervously, "You may not like it," He said as Brendan rose an eyebrow. "Why is that?" He asked him. 

"Just come to my office and we'll talk there," Daymond said before hanging up as Brendan sighed before putting his phone in his pocket and then walked towards the elevator and got in as he stretched. "Now I'm curious as to what Daymond has for us," He said as Revenant stood next to him in shadow form. "I don't know and I don't really care, only as long as I get to kill."

Brendan shook his head and chuckled as Revenant disappeared as he walked out of the elevator and began to walk to Daymond's office while humming a little song to himself as Revenant was staying quiet.

(Daymond's office)

Daymond, who was of Asian descent, was sitting behind his desk fixing his tie as Brendan had walked into his office and put his hands in his pockets. "What do you have for me Daymond?" He asked him as Daymond let out a small nervous chuckle.

"Um...you may have to work with someone who has a problem with you." He said as Brendan rose an eyebrow, "And who is that person?" He asked as a woman walked in and let out a sound of disgust. "If it isn't the Híbrido," She said as Brendan snapped and Revenant came out while chuckling. "Hello, again Loba," Revenant said as Loba rolled her eyes.

"Daymond, could you be a dear and tell me why this thing is here," She said as Daymond cleared his throat. "The reason you two are here is that you're teaming up to find something for me." He said as Loba immediately disagreed. "I'm not working with this bastard," She said as Revenant surprisingly agreed with her. "I can't stand her voice and the way she is, no way in hell am I working with her." He said as Daymond sighed.

"Listen, the thing I want is an artifact that could possibly destroy the outlands and kill us all. Hammond Robotics is trying to get their hands on it so they could that, so I want you two to go get it for me whether you two like it or not." He said with authority in his voice as Brendan turned back to normal. 

"Now go and find the artifact, there should be a jet waiting for you both outside," Daymond said as they both nodded and got in the elevator as Brendan leaned against the railing and Loba stood while crossing her arms. "Know this Híbrido, I don't trust you and I never will." She said as he shrugged. "Don't really care, as long as the mission is done then that's it," Brendan said as Loba nodded.

They both got out of the elevator and walked to the jet that was outside for them as they both got on and sat down. Next stop.
