chapter six, damaged — act one, the reunion

THE SISTERS CRIED OUT for there mother, seeing with their own eyes, the condition she was in. As life was slowly slipping out of Melina and the three girls who for the first time are content with their life will all be gone in matter of seconds. Emily and Natasha, young girls who were taught to not show emotions, who were taught to be brave but it was useless as they were breaking down seeing there mother, as well as their little sister who cried out for their mother.

Melina was trying to hold the pain in, so the girls who won't be afraid. Who were about to have their lives ruin. Her youngest daughter, her innocence will be shattered because she is not strong enough. This was supposed to be like any other mission but never did she think that she will have build this bond with her little girls. She sucked up her pain and gave her little one a small smile, "I'm okay little one."

"прости меня мама. мне страшно." (forgive me mom, im scared) Natasha cried out for her mother, hoping she would know that she wants to be brave but at this moment she can't. Melina just looked at her, gave her a sad smile, "Never let them take your heart, my little warrior."

Tears burst out of Emily's eyes, as it was hard for her to hold them in, "Мамa, мне страшно. Я не такой храбрый, как ты." (Mom, I'm scared. I am not brave like you.) Emily was the oldest it was her job to brave for her sisters as she needs to take care of them but at this moment she just wants to be in her mom arms. Melina turned her head to Emily and gave her a soft smile, "You are so brave my little flower."

  One of the Russian soldiers took Melina to a truck to get her medical help. Emily could not do anything but tell her sisters that everything will be okay. But Yelena called out for their mother as they were taking her away, the soldiers ignored her, so she ran to Alexi, her next protector in her mind, "Daddy."

One of the soldiers grabbed her and pulled he back, resulting to a bruise to form. Natasha saw the soldiers action, so she instantly went to him and kicked the soldier's arm, as Emily was able sneak from behind to grab his gun. Natasha furiously told the soldier to back away from Yelena, "Get away from her."   

Emily immediately points the gun at all the soldiers, "Don't you touch her," as both her and Natasha shield Yelena from them. "Я буду стрелят," (I will shoot)

Emily did not care that tears where coming out of her, she had to protect her sisters. Natasha joined her older sister protecting Yelena, "We will kill you all so don't touch her." Alexi came toward the girls, crouch down beside them, move his head to Emily, "Angel, you gotta hand me that gun."

Emily shook her head, she was scared, she just wanted her sister to be in Ohio where it is safe, "I don't wanna go back there." Natasha looked at her dad hoping to talk some sense to him, "I want to stay in Ohio." She wanted to stay there because she had Emily, her big sister who will protect her and Yelena, her baby sister, where they play games, have fun and get competitive.

"You can't take her. You can't. She is only six." Emily spoked to her dad as her voice was breaking but she hoping he can at least save Yelena. Alexi just signs knowing he can't do anything, "You both were even younger."

He grabbed the gun out of Emily's hand and crouched down towards the three girls. "The three of you are going to be alright. You want to know why? Because my girls are the toughest girls in the world."

With that three russian soldiers poke a needle in their neck making the girls instantly pass out.....

The three girls could not see anything but darkness. Emily was positioned in the middle; she had Natasha on her right side and Yelena on her left side. From what Emily could tell they were not alone. Some other girls were there.

She did not want to go back, she wanted to stay in Ohio and be with her family. Natasha knew what was coming but she did not want to think about it. She just wanted to stay in the arms of her big sister and never leave. She looked at Yelena who was crying. She could not help but start to cry. Yelena, her baby sister had no idea of what was coming.

Out of nowhere it got so bright, it was so bright that it was kind of blinding. Some russian soldiers came to them and instantly pointed the guns at them. All the girls instantly scream out of fear. The girls got up and followed the soldiers' instructions. The terrified little girls started to scream because they were all being separated. They were all scared. One of the soldiers was separating the two older sisters from their baby sister.

"No" yelled out Yelena as they were taking her away from her big sisters. "Yelena." Natasha instantly went to her as Emily grabbed something from the soldier and handed it to Yelena, "Take it. Here Take it!"

The guards took Yelena. Leaving Emily and Natasha hugging each other. Natasha was sobbing, as they took Yelena, her baby sister. She just held on to Emily as long as she could, "I do not want to go back there Em."

Emily said nothing, but just held her little sister. An older man named Dreykov comes up to them.

"The Red Room is your home now."

The girls were taken to room, had there memories altered. Emily was sent to the training room to regain her form in weaponry. Natasha to a dance studio to do a performance of ballet to get her flexibility skills back. Yelena and bunch of new girls were taught about how they will act. They had their childhood was taken away. Force to live a life they did not want. Were not allowed to make their own choices. They were all taught and re-taught, their history of their new 'home'.

In the beginning of time the red room was created for the sole purpose to make the girls indestructible. Not just make the girls incredibly good at combat and weapon training but to psychologically hammered to make them unassailable. At the start of it, they enlisted the help of 28 orphaned girls to train them as undetectable deep-cover agents. Over time the amount of girls have increased.

The girls were all taught ballet. To make their moves as graceful as possible so when they go out into the world and do their assigned case, they would do it flawlessly. The real world was all led to believe that the girls had received ballet training at the Bolshoi Theatre. But what a lie that was. The red room had hidden bases everywhere and had taken innocent girls from around the world to become child assassins to the point where they had so much red in them to wrap the entire world with it.

The girls were fed at the same time, went to bed at the same time, and watched the same cartoons over and over. Which were all propaganda agenda. They were trained to the point of exhaustion. Celebrated all the holidays in one day but it was for the red room's fantasy as they had to pose for the camera. Constantly having certain substances in them. Had no control of their lives, their choices were taken away from them. Then at the end of it all the Red Room had its graduation ceremony.
