And I remember his face. Aaron. Aaron from Waterfall. The one in the crowd that didn't belong! I saw Undyne about to leave the hall and quickly jumped up. "CAPTIAN!" I cried out.

Undyne turned. I ran over to her, stumbling. "I know who did it! I remember!" I haven't been this excited since my 11th birthday! Undyne turned to me. "Spit it out!" She said.

"Aaron! Aaron from Waterfall!" If I know anything from those police shows, is that she should believe me. But no, instead she says, "Do you have evidence?"

WTF lady! I just told you the murderer! I ran to the scene, Undyne close behind. Under the tape and through the door into to room.

A guard was holding a body bag, ready to get Vulkin when I stopped him. "WAIT!" I screeched. My own voice surprised me, it being squeaky and high.

Undyne stood next to me as I began pointing out evidence. "Here," I pointed to the puddles. "There isn't a water bottle or glass around here."

Then to the scales in Vulkin's skin. "SCALES, UNDYNE." It was kinda obvious and told LOUD AND CLEAR this was murder. Finally, I dragged her to the bathroom.

The tap was at a slow drip, and small drops of friend blood led to the ceramic frame. "He washed off, then left." I stood silently, overly proud of myself.

Undyne stared at me. "... And?" Are you SERIOUS?!? "And what?" I ranted. "That's not enough?" Oh my God, all that work and she wants more? Worse than my stepmom.

"Undee-" She glared at me. "Call me that again, I'll stab you." I put my paws up. Then I looked her dead in the eyes (no pun intended), and said, "There is a murderer-maybe not a serial-but he took an innocent monsters life, and it's not like me to care but-"

"Shut up!" Undyne turned and shouted to her guards. "IVAN! ELLIOTT!" Two-I swear, these guards are falling from the sky. Undyne ran out, the guards behind her, me behind the guards.

We ran to Waterfall and we saw Aaron in the distance. Undyne pulled out her spear and threw it in front of him. "FREEZE!!!" She shouted, gaining on him like a lion to a snail.

He stopped, then turned and ran. I stopped, too. I had to catch my breath from all the running we've been doing. I watched Undyne throw her spear in front of Aaron again, causing him to run into it.

A guard jumped on him and grabbed his arms, leaving him flailing around. I would say 'like a fish out of water' but he kinda is a fish, so...

Undyne had yet another spear in her hands, and slammed it right in front of the murderer's face. "Aaron, you are under arrest for the murder of Vulkin. All things you say and do will be held against you..." She went on as the guards tugged him to the station.

The station, which oddly enough is Alphys's lab. She let Undyne use it until they build one, which would be great. I caught up to Undyne as she was walking behind Aaron. "Why'd he do it?"

I asked, very curious. The Caption shrugged. "We'll get it out of him back at Alphys's."

As I stepped back to my post, Mettaton danced through the door. "Oh, hello Burgy!" He exclaimed. "What'd I miss?" I rolled my eyes. Just a murder. You know, the casual.

However, if I told Mettaton that, he'd freak. Whatever. He'll figure it out eventually. I just smiled and looked down.

"Nothin', boss. Absolutely nothing."

FINALLY!! I'VE FINISHED! I procrastinated way too much, I moved and packing KILLED ME RIP. Anyway, that's it. It's a short story, but I have a bigger, and BETTER one planned!

At least I hope ,_, I'm drawing the cover and it's taking a while. Whatevs.. see ya next book!
