I stood at the doorway where others were crowded, gasping. "ALRIGHT, MOVE IT MOVE IT!" Undyne shouted for the monsters to clear out. She walked in and the guards motioned bystanders away.

One put up that yellow police tape right in front of the doorway. I looked in and noticed some things before a Gaurd shooed me away.

There were puddles too big to be spilled from a glass, and they were formed quite coincidentally. The tap in the bathroom was on a slow drip, like someone forgot to turn it off all the way.

Then I saw Vulkin's skin.

There were blue scales.

"Hey!" A guard barked at me. I jumped. "Sorry..." I stuttered and scurried back to my post. I sat waiting since I knew someone would ask me what I saw. I tried to think of what I'd seen just an hour or two before, but everything slipped my mind.

All I could remember was a few angry customers, Vulkin's body, and where I hid the key to my safe. For some reason, I started to freak out. I was worried and scared.

Angry with myself, kinda like when you know the answer to a math equation and when the teacher calls in you, you forget the answer completely. Then damn Shyren answers right after you!

I watched Undyne and a guard walk form the crime scene. "But the bone is enough evidence to say it was Sans or Papyrus!" The guard said. They stopped. "Yeah, a dog coulda done it, too!" Undyne yelled, annoyed with the guard.

Finally, they made it over to me. They held their badges up and were about to introduce themselves when I interrupted. "I already know who you are, just get to it."

Undyne looked as though she was about to say something, then changed her mind. "We need to ask you some questions about the murder of Vulkin."

That's it. That's the thing, I can't answer questions cause I forgot all I saw. "Yeah, sure." I said. Then, before they started again, i stopped them. "Actually, I can't. I'm sorry."

Undyne looked confused. "What do you mean, 'you can't?'" I sighed. "Working here, I tend to forget the faces I see, the things that happen." I paused.

"I stop caring."

Undyne slammed her hands on the counter, causing me to jump. "WHAT DO YOU MEAN STOP CARING??!? AN INNOCENT YOUNG DIED!!!" The guard grabbed her shoulder and pulled her back. "Undyne, CHILL OUT!"

He turned to me. "Tell us if you remember anything." I nodded. Sans and Papyrus were still here, suprisingly. They left the restaurant to investigate why everyone was crowded and why the police were here (most likely).

"Hey!" The barky guard called at them. Undyne looked over from questioning an alligator in red high heels. The two skeletons had a confused expression on their faces.

"Gale! Avery!" Barky shouted. Two other guards poked their heads from room 300 and quickly ran over. They grabbed the brothers and shoved them out the door.

"AY! What are ya doin'?" Sans struggled against the guards. "Taking you in for questioning." Avery or Gale hissed. I felt a rush of emotion, I felt like I had to do something. I stood up. "W-Wait!" I shouted, but only saw the closing doors.

Slamming my fists on the counter and cursing on my breath, I suddenly saw something small glistening on the tile by the fountain. I got up to inspect it.

Getting to the Mettaton shaped fountain, I bent by the soaked carpet. There was a blue scale. Then I remembered.

Him.

The figure, the one who had the stick, the one who walked into room 300, who then walked to the restaurant, dropping this scale. The one who left just as the police stepped in.

"The murderer..." I whispered. Then I stood up and slapped myself. "Who was he? Who was he?" I didn't see his face. I didn't think I'd have to!

"Come on, Burgy!" I ran back to my post. Thinking back to the previous hours, I willed myself to remember. Then I had a flashback, where everything was gray but his shiny blue scales.

"Get to his face, BurgerPants, get to his face!" I scolded myself. Squeezing my eyes shut, I saw his face.
