Chapter 20

Jimin
He and Jungkook were sat inside that day. The past couple days had been wet and windy, in terms of the weather of course. Jimin was getting frustrated with the snow because he really missed the sun. He did like to be doing something at times, but then again, he missed the days where he could just sit inside listening to music with the sunlight streaming across the room without worrying about someone or something.
For the past 4 years, everything had been nonstop, and while he and Jungkook were laid on the sofa watching another movie, he took a breath and tried to push his worries aside.
He eyed the bionic next to him. They had chosen another action film, and the second iron man film had easily captured the bionc's attention.
"Jungkook?"
"Hm?"
"Never mind."
Jimin rested his head against Jungkook's shoulder again, and tried to focus on the movie. He had thought about what Taemin hyung had said a few days ago, and wasn't really sure what to do. He could pursue what he had started to feel; he couldn't deny the attraction he felt for Jungkook. If he only saw Jungkook maybe a few hours a day, the situation would probably be different and he would definitely be able to control himself.
But they live with eachother, and see eachother all the time, and they will do for a while.
Jimin found it amazing how quickly one thing could lead to another. The fact that Jungkook was a bionic was probably the reason why he knew he could trust him so easily, and be so close to him like he was right now, because he knew he couldn't hurt him.
He looked up again, and watched Jungkook for a while. The bionics eyes were squinted in awe at the films graphics and animation, and he wasn't moving at all.
Jimin could stare at him all day. He really looked so perfect, and it amazes him how he used to be human. Bionics have this...otherworldly feel even though they used to be human, so Jimin had been ignorantly blinded by the convenience of Jungkook being so handsome because he was a bionic.
But, that wasn't the case.
He had always looked like this, even as a human.
"Kookie?" Jungkook turned to him at the use of his nickname and their noses touched. Jimin realised he was still leant toward him, and immediately turned away. "Do you remember what you used to be like? Before you became a bionic?"
"No, not at all. We have our memories wiped so they don't affect our present goals."
"But don't you want to see the old people in your life?"
"It's never really something I think about. I am a bionic now, and if I took my own life as a human then why would I want to look back on the past when it won't be something pleasant?"
"You took your own life?! Didn't anyone tell you why?"
Jungkook shook his head. "The scientist who woke me up liked to keep things annonymous."
Jimin slouched into the sofa. "That's not fair, you deserve to know who you used to be. I would want to know 100%."
"But you're a regular human, Jiminie. I'm not."
There was a brief silence. Jimin felt sorrowful for the man sitting beside him, who lacked in so many things to become something else altogether.
"Do you...feel anything? At all?" Jimin hesitantly mumbled.
"Yes. I think so."
"Have you always felt 'something'?"
"No. When I woke up outside the convenience store, it was the first time I really thought about my emotions. I'm sure it was because I was defected in some way. That's why...I'm here now I guess."
Jimin's heart dropped a little at the soft voice Jungkook used. He didn't want him to experience sadness. "What are you feeling now?"
He turned his head, and stared at Jimin with such enormous intensity. "I think...I'm happy."
"You think?"
Jungkook grinned his toothy smile. "Come on hyung, I don't even know what it means to feel happy."
Jimin pursed his lips, and leant on his knees before facing Jungkook again. "Well, have you felt happy a lot since being here or is it just now?"
"I have quite a lot."
"Like when?"
"When I woke up safe, in blankets. I was grateful to be alive. Helping you move in and listening to you, it made me feel happy. And when you bought me the keychain."
"Aha, you don't have to use it."
Jungkook shook his head. "When I have something to attach it to, I will. For now, it sits in my pocket."
Jimin wanted badly to ask a few questions, but he wasn't sure if it seemed appropriate. It would definitely change the atmosphere around them.
"Jungkookie?"
"Yes hyung?"
"W-when I got drunk, did I, put you off?"
It had been nagging at him for so long. The drunk situation had been so embarrassing for him, and if he had disgusted Jungkook...it would make him feel incredibly stupid, but he still wanted to know.
"No."
"Really?"
"It was just surprising. I saw another side to you which I wasn't expecting."
"Um, are you sure? Anyone would feel uncomfortable if they got their ear bit."
"No it wasn't like that at all. It...made me realize a few things but I still don't exactly know what they mean."
Jimin's ears pricked up. "Realize things? Like what?"
"I can't really explain hyung, when I don't understand what it means."
His heart was racing, because perhaps he hadn't put him off at all. Maybe...
Jimin leaned forwards and placed his hands on Jungkook's shoulders. The bionic jumped, and his eyes widened.
"J-Jimin hyung?"
Was it really that?
He leaned closer, his grip on Jungkook's shirt tightening as the bionics breathing quickened.
"W-what are you doing, hyung?"
"Just, let me try something."
He traced his hands down Jungkook's front, feeling his firm chest with his small palms, and running them down his solid abs. He had wanted to do that the moment Jungkook had walked into his kitchen wearing nothing but a towel around his waist.
"J-Jimin-ssi, I don't think-"
"Oh, so now I'm Jimin-ssi?"
"I-I meant hyung."
Jimin leaned closer, and pressed his lips against Jungkook's neck. He felt the bionic shiver while his own hands continued to roam Jungkook's torso, and when he looked up, the bionic had his eyes closed with his head dipped back.
Jimin slowly pulled away, his heart hammering against his own chest, and he bit his lip.
I can't believe I just did that, what's come over me!?!
While his mind was screaming in panic, he breathed calmly and looked back at Jungkook. He had leant back onto his hands so Jimin could see the heavy rise and fall of his chest, his mouth was slightly open, and he had the same glint in his eyes as before.
O-okay so I did that. What now? I didn't think this through at all!!
"Jimin."
"Y-yes?"
Jungkook pushed his body forwards, and Jimin felt himself shrink as a suddenly subjugating presence casted itself over the bionic. "What was that?" The bionic whispered under his breath.
His face was blazing, and he played with the ends of his shirt. "I-I just wanted to test something out."
"What for?" The younger spoke in a quiet voice, and continued to lean forwards with his elbows on his knees and his shoulders caving Jimin into the corner of the sofa.
"Y-you said that you didn't know exactly what happiness felt like, so I did that...um maybe, I could help you discover some things."
What am I saying?! That sounded so wrong oh god...and a complete lie!
Jungkook's dark eyes pierced Jimin's gaze. "So, that just now, was an experiment?" Jimin could smell his scent, and he felt himself get dizzy all over again.
"Hey, that makes it sound like I was taking advantage of you! I was just..."
The bionic placed his arms at either side of Jimin's head against the wall, and towered over him. "Just what? As I saw it, you caught me off guard hyung. That sounds a bit like taking advantage of me, Jimin."
Jimin bit his lip again. Why does he have to say my name like that?
Jungkook moved closer, and placed his soft lips against Jimin's neck. His hot breath against his skin sent an ungovernable pulse through his body.
Jimin gasped when he felt the bionic move deeper against skin, and he lifted his hands up to grip his shirt. Jungkook's skin felt so hot beneath his fingertips, as they grazed the indented v-line of his pelvis and around his waist. All Jimin could do was move with the motions of the younger, who had him cornered on the edge of his sofa.
Then an inescapable moan left his lips.
Jungkook's head shot up, and Jimin covered his mouth in horror.
"Hyung, are you okay? Did I hurt you?" Jungkook's eyes wandered his body, and he softly rubbed the place where he planted his kiss.
"No no, it didn't hurt at all...it was the complete opposite..." He blushed at the bionics immediate consideration of his safety, and smiled to himself. He felt so embarrassed.
"I don't understand, it sounded like you were in pain."
Jimin let out a shaky breath, and sat back up. "Jungkook, people either mo...make that noise when they're in pain, or when they...feel good."
"So, it felt nice?"
Jimin could only nod. He couldn't think.
Jungkook's thumb trailed over his neck again, and he frowned. "Are you sure it didn't hurt? It's all red."
"W-what?" Jimin lept up from the sofa and ran out the room and into the bathroom to check the mirror.
There was a small but noticeable red bruise planted against his pale skin. How?! Jungkook had barely moved against him...
He slowly closed his eyes as blood rushed to his head. The realization of his curiosity surpassed his wildest expectations, and Jimin felt lost in his thoughts as he traced over the mark with his fingertips. He had done that for his own selfish reassurance: that Jungkook wasn't disgusted by him, and in the end, maybe he was feeling the same desires Jimin had lately been subjected to, despite the impossibility of that being true.
But that still didn't explain why the older had dared to pull a stunt like that, something so daring, and something himself as a person would never even think of trying.
He massaged his red cheeks, and sighed.
What have I started?
