This chapter will contain blood and depression tendencies.

Illiana POV

  My eyes feel like sandpaper as I struggle to open them. When I do get them open, I'm blinded by a bright light. I expect to hear beeping from machines and my body covered with a hospital gown. Though when I look around, I'm surprised that I'm laying in a huge bed in a white room. Where am I? Wait! My injuries! When I look down though, I'm surprised. I'm wearing a long black dress and there is not a speck of blood on me. I even lift my arm up to see if the glass that was imbedded in my skin was still there but there's not even a scar. Weird. Wait, this room is familiar... it looks like the same place... that's when my eyes catch him. "Sammy?" I whisper.

   He smiles at me and I run to him, engulfing him in a hug. Then I remember just where Sammy is at. "Oh my gods! I'm dead for real this time aren't I?" I shout backing away from him. He lets out a chuckle and shakes his head. "No my dear, you came here by yourself." My face scrunches in confusion but I shake it off. I have my Sammy again, I shouldn't question it. I give him a toothy smile and hug him. "Oh Sammy, I'm never leaving you again!" Tears start rolling down my face and Sammy pulls back to wipe them away. His thumbs gently caress my face while wiping the tears. I look up to him and my breath hitches at how close we are.

  My heart speeds up as he glances at my lips and my cheeks flush. A voice in the back of my head urges me to kiss him but my rational side fights it. He's not my soulmate... but if I'm in heaven it doesn't matter right? Something in me clicks and soon I lean in to connect our lips. He quickly closes the space between us and when our lips meet, there are sparks. My body feels weightless and butterflies fill my stomach. Sammy deepens the kiss and holds me flush to his body. I squeak at the sudden movement but melt under his touch. Everything just feels right.

    Before I know what's happening, I feel my magic react and our feet leave the ground. We pull back breathless and see a cloud of black smoke surround us. I feel a weird prickly sensation on my left wrist and see a dainty tattoo. It is a small halo and angel wings. I furrow my eyebrows and look to Sammy but he looks the same way as my tattoo appears on his left forearm.

  Before we can question anything else, our feet touch the ground. The smoke dissipates and we are beside my wrecked car in the woods. It looks to be around early morning as the sun is just now rising. I look down and see that I'm in my old bloody clothes but I am healed. Why is Sammy here? I don't understand. Did I bring him back or is this just a dream? I pinch myself to see if I'm actually awake and furrow my brows at the fact that I am. Hmm. I need to check my grimoires and maybe speak to my ancestors.

   I'm pulled out of my thoughts by sirens. I look at Sammy and he smiles then pulls me to his side. Dad runs down the slope but stops when he sees Sammy and I. "Sammy?" He whispers, his face pale. I quickly grab Sammy's hand and run to dad. He immediately pulls us to him and starts crying. "You are going to be the death of me Lils!" He whispers in a crackly voice. "And Sammy, my boy! Where did you-" he cuts himself off with the shake of his head, as tears run down his face. "It doesn't matter. I'm just glad you're both here" he mumbles.

  We hold each other for a few minutes before another officer walks over. "Chief, we need to get her to a hospital and clean up the wreck." Dad nods at him then turns to me and lowers his voice so only we can hear. "Sammy, pick her up and set her in my cruiser. We will just go back home. We uh have a lot to talk about, okay?" He looks at Sammy again and shakes his head before walking away. Sammy quickly sweeps me off my feet.. literally causing me to squeak again. I smile at him and snuggle into his chest more. I can't believe I have my Sammy back and he's my soulmate. Wait. Did I just perform necromancy? Oh gods. I really need to speak to my ancestors. Sammy gently sits me in the backseat before climbing in himself.

  I look over at him and admire his beauty. His soft curls that surround his face and the light freckles that dust his nose and cheeks. His warm green eyes with flecks of brown in them and his perfect smile. "Are you done staring my love?" His deep voice interrupts my starring and I blush, hiding my face behind my hands. He chuckles and removes my hands then places a small kiss on my lips. "Don't ever hide your beautiful face from me Lils" he says huskily.

   My heart skips a beat at his voice and the nickname he used. "I missed you calling me that" I whisper. His arms wind around my waist and I lean into him. My eyes flutter closed as a feeling of peace envelopes me. Something I haven't felt in a while. I feel him running his hands through my hair and a small kiss on my forehead before drifting off.

The Cullen's POV

  The Cullen's, along with Rissa had all returned to Forks when Rose, Emmett, Jasper, and Rissa left. Carlisle wanted to keep the family together but Edward was his boy, the closest thing he and to a son and he would donating for him. So they stayed away, until Alice got a weird vision. Knowing something was wrong with Illiana, they ran to Charlie's, meeting up with the rest since damn. And that is where they all sit outside, currently waiting on Illiana. Carlisle and Esme try to soothe their children but the only ones that will allow it is Edward and Alice. Carlisle starts to regret his decision more and more. Maybe he should just put his foot down for once.

  "This is all your fault Edward! I told you we should have stayed!" Rose yells, making Edward step back in fear. "If we lose her, I'll make the rest of your life miserable!" Emmett growls out at not only Edward but Carlisle and Esme as well. "We should have never left. Oh gods, what did we do?!" Jasper whispers to himself while pulling at his hair. Alice hugs him and shoots a glare towards Edward. Though Jasper just pushes her off, more than tired of his so called mate. Alice steps back to Edward, aggravation apparent through her facial expression. Carlisle finally steps forward, breaking everyone apart.

    "Enough. You are right Rose, we never should have left. Things need to change for us" he sighs. He squeezes Esme's hand then turns to Edward. "You will no longer be demanding things. From now one, we vote. This is a family, not a dictatorship. I want us to live together I peace and we can't do that unless you get your shit together Edward" Carlisle sternly shouts. Esme gasps at him cussing but nods her head in agreement. Rose has tears in her eyes and races to Carlisle and Esme's arms. Alice stays by Edward, a soft look on her face as she checks over him. Jasper, Rissa, and Emmett join the hug, sealing the new family together.

Alice and Edward hang back, slowly walking away from the group. It was clear they made their choice. Everyone looks at them in pity and maybe a bit of anger but before anything can happen, a car pulls up. They all stand up as Charlie exits the vehicle, sending them a harsh glare. "Y'all shouldn't be here. She needs rest and I'm pretty sure y'all caused this!" Charlie yells, making the Cullens step back. They've never seen him so angry before. Charlie narrows his eyes so let on Rissa and be sighs "I'm glad to see you're okay Clarissa. Especially after the case I just closed on your adopted family. But I don't want you back here until Illiana allows it. You hurt her so bad" he whispers. Years threaten to slip down his face so he sucks in a breath and puffs out his chest. "Please leave" he states, stomping to the front door.

   Just as he opens the front door, Leah and Paul show up. Charlie greets them before going back to his cruiser and helping Sammy with Illiana. Her slumped form drapes across his arms and blood covers the two of them. Jasper growls at the unknown male carrying his mate until he sees her mark on his arm. Edward reads his mind and looks to the rest of her mates. "That's another one of her mates-" he's cut off my Leah. "Not just any mate, that's Sammy!" She runs over to him and hugs him to the best of her ability. "But y-you were dead!" She whispers with tears in her eyes. When they finally make eye contact she's surprised. Leah's mark appears on him as his appears on her. "What in the world?" He whispers. Charlie nudges them to the door but in doing so, accidentally wakes up Illiana.

 
Illiana's POV

  I slowly open my eyes, feeling two sets of arms around me. "Leah?" I ask. She smiles down at me then kisses my forehead causing a wave of butterflies in my stomach. I blush and start getting down out of Sammy's hold. He gently puts me down, holding my elbow just in case. I send him a smile and peck his cheek. Growls are heard and I quickly turn my head to see the rest of my mates. My face quickly turns red with anger but before I can speak, Paul rushes over pulling me into a hug. My anger disappears,  leaving me with comfort and warmth. He quickly pulls back and kisses my cheek. "I'm so-" I cut him off "it's okay. I forgive you. Both of you" I say while looking to Leah. "... but y'all" I look to the Cullen's and Rissa, "I do not."

   I shove my way past them into the house with dad smirking behind me. Paul stick out his tongue as he follows behind me like a puppy. Sammy and Leah follow us as Edward tries to come in behind them. I just watch as he bumps into an invisible barrier making him fall into Jasper. He furrows his brows and looks to me. I let out a giggle and quirk a brow at him. "One, I never said you could come in and two, I put a barrier up so no supernatural species can come in without my permission." He opens his mouth to speak but I cut him off. "Rose, Rissa, Emmett, and Jasper will you please join me? I would like to apologize about how I acted towards y'all. The rest of you can leave."

  Rose shoves past a pouting Alice with Jasper and Emmett behind her. They easily step into the house and each pull me into a hug then step behind me. Rissa stays behind with an unsure look on her face. "Ris, are you going to come in?" I ask. Her bottom lip trembles before she runs into my arms. "I'm so sorry! Jessica and her parents said they would tell everyone what I was if I kept dating you! And then somehow Jessica found out about your powers so they said they would do the same with you! And-and I just panicked-" I cut her off by kissing her soft lips and she greedily kisses back. "It's okay Ris. I know. I'm sorry I made you feel like you were alone and couldn't talk to anyone. I've been a little all over the place and very unmedicated." I mumble.

In front of us, Carlisle pushes back Edward then looks to me with a sorrowful smile. "I think we should all speak about-" I quickly cut him off. "We? What is this we that you speak of Carlisle?!" I growl out. They all flinch back but I notice Rose has a frown on her face. "No, Carlisle put Edward in his place. Actually, I think he just kicked Alice and Edward out of the family. Did you not?" She asks. Carlisle looks to his wife and nods his head yes. She curls into him and answers "yes. We are truly sorry Illiana. We honestly thought it would be better for you if we left." I nod, understanding.

"Esme, Carlisle. Would you please come in?" I ask with a smile. They don't even look back at Edward or Alice before stepping in and taking to dad. I turn back to the other two, anger boiling in my chest. I take a step forward as my eyes shine red, making Edward and Alice step back. "Y'all left me! And never fucking looked back! No. You don't get to come back and tell me to forgive y'all! The only ones that stayed or kept in contact are in this house! Y'all don't know what I went through!" I shriek, my rage only building as I read their minds.

Her eyes

   I look to Edward and Alice with nothing but anger before speaking. "Just do me a favor and leave. Don't come back here and open my wounds. Don't call and tell me you miss me. YOU LEFT ME. You left me. Not the other way around. Don't pretend like nothing happened and that you two didn't absolutely gut me! I mean what did you expect? Did you think I would welcome you with open arms as if nothing happened? NO! Not only that but you two have been lying to me for months!" The group gasps but I continue, my eyes set on the two in front of me, who shift nervously.

"Yeah didn't think I'd find about that huh? Here's food for thought, don't assume you're the only ones that can read minds or see the future" I mutter with a smirk. "You both had your chance and you blew it completely. I'm not going to let either of you back into my life just for you to rip my heart out again. Do you know how that feels? I mean I went absolutely mental. I felt like I was drowning but I just wouldn't fucking die..." I wipe a stray tear before continuing "You walked away last time, it's my turn now. Leave before I make you."

   I run a hand through my tousled hair and feel a cold hand intertwine with mine. I look up to see Rose with tears streaming down her face and dad barely holding it together. Esme and Carlisle hold him in both do their arms, comforting him. Huh. I ship it. Sammy holds Leah with a smile, as she shoots me a thumbs up. Emmett holds unto a smiling Rissa while Paul and Jasper just look at the ground with pain in their eyes. At that moment a black car pulls into the driveway with tires squealing. A smirk finds its way on my face since I recognize the car but the others just look confused. "WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON? AND WHERE IS MY BABY?!" I let out a giggle then look to Edward and Alice outside of the door.

"Y'all are fucked!"
