Illiana POV

A few months later..

   My eyes trail over the thousands of books in front of me, breathing in the smell of parchment paper and soot from fireplace. I could definitely live here. I brush my left hand along the old, dusty books, leaving a thin, clean line behind. I gently grab a dark red, leather book and open it, savoring the old, almost stale smell. I relax almost instantly, taking the book to the nearest couch and settling in like a cat. My eyes quickly absorb the lines on the page, explaining magic at its raw basis and the prophecy of the Superno Regina. This is very interesting. I wonder.. Suddenly, the large red doors open to reveal Caius, Aleka, Didyme, and Marcus.

Caius has his golden curly hair free and is wearing a crisp black suit. Aleka hangs off his arm in a dark green dress that falls down in long layers around her feet and a high slit along the left side. Vines cover the bodice and curl around each strap, making her look like a goddess. Marcus has a huge smile on his face and wears a light navy suit, with his arms around his wife. While Didyme has a beautiful crimson, one-shoulder dress on and her long hair is woven back into her gold crown. Caius stands in front of me, his left hand outstretched "come amore, it is time for the Cullen's hearing." (Love) My face falls into a glare and I shake my head no. "I don't want to do this. It's only going to start a war, we all know this. Hell, I've seen it!"

    I push away from the couch letting my gown trail behind me. I'm wearing a dress against my will, as Queen I now have a certain standard to uphold. Or so Caius and Aleka say. I think they both just like to torture me. Or they think I look hot in these extravagant gowns. Which I do. So I'm in a long nude dress that has a black sheer fabric on top of it. I will admit, the fabric feels like butter on my skin so it is nice. There are black frills and bits of lace decorated around the top. Instead of heels on though, I begged to be able to wear my black converse. What can I say? I'm an American. My hair falls in soft waves down my back with two small braids on each side. My eyes lock with Caius and he frowns. "I'm sorry mi amore, but justice must be served." (My love) I nod in agreement and take his outstretched hand.

    Aleka reaches over, taking my hand from Caius and intertwines our hands as our heels click along the marble floor. Caius rolls his eyes and throws his arms around the two of us. I adjust the crown on my head. Mine is a heavy silver with intricate designs and ruby red jewels all over it. It has a large heart on the front, a nod to Aro. And small white diamond sparkle along with the red. Aleka's is a vintage silver with large rubies and small diamonds. It fits her head perfectly and she has her chin held high. Though I'm not sure how because my neck already hurts from my crown and hers is much heavier. Caius and Marcus have matching black crowns with the same blood red rubies along it as Didyme, Alek, and I's.

    The large wooden doors creak open as we walk through and take our places in the throne room. My chair sits in the middle with two chairs on each side of mine for Didyme, Aleka, and Caius. And I am having smaller chairs made for the twins. One for each side of my throne. Jane and Alec shuffle towards me and stand on either side of my chair. I pull them down and kiss Alec's cheek first, causing him to turn pink. "Non mettermi in imbarazzo, mamma!" (Don't embarrass me momma!) he whispers and I hold back a smile. "Mi dispiace amore mio" (Sorry my love) I whisper back.

    Then I kiss Jane's cheek and she beams back at me. "Madre, I Cullen moriranno?" (Mother, are the Cullens going to die?) My eyes widen a bit but I just shrug "I'm not entirely sure Angel. Once I take their memories and play them for all to see, we shall judge." The twins look content at that answer and give each other smirks. Glad those two are my side. The doors creak open to reveal Demetri and Felix, my new besties, along with Alice and Edward. Felix, Demetri and I get along great. We often play pool and card games down at the local bar when I need an escape from the chaos. Thought Demetri is such a flirt.

Rose, Emmett, Jasper, Carlisle, and Esme stand to the left where the rest of my loved ones are. Dad, Rissa, Didyme, Cali, Sage, and Sammy stand next to them, talking quietly to themselves. Didyme has really adapted well. We actually get along great and have a lot in common to the dismay of both of our king mates. Shes even taught me some old warrior moves that I use on the boys a lot. Let's just say Emmett has given up soaring with me. Though Jasper still entertains me. Alice and Edward stand to the right, the later throwing glares at the five soon to be ex Cullens.

I narrow my eyes at the two idiots and let out a little growl, having read their minds. I stand up, making the room quiet and move to the right, standing in front of the accused Cullens. "Hello Alice, Edward. The trail will be lead by me and first thing on the agenda is getting those pesky memories. Now hold still, if you fight it, it'll hurt more" I grin a sadistic smile, making the others shrink back. Aleka giggles behind me, whispering something to Caius. Before they can refuse, I wave my hand and they're both strapped into a wooden chair. They both fight their restraints as I create a ball of black magic in my hand, it coils ready to strike and I grin at the two in front of me. "Nighty night" I whisper before blowing the black clouds towards them and knocking them out.

I tap my chin, deciding who should go first before playing Eenie, Meenie, Miney, Moe. When my finger lands on Alice, I begin with her. The ring leader. I let my black magic swirl around her head before it turns into a large picture. (Imagine like a projector screen of sorts)

It plays through her memories, starting with when she met Jasper. She has just met him and he was wary of her. We watch through Alice's eyes as a vision appears of me, showing Jasper and the others true mate. It shows me with Jasper, Emmett, Rissa, Leah, Sammy, Paul, Rosalie, Aleka, and Caius with Carlisle, Esme, and Charlie beside us. While Alice and Edward are noticeably absent from the coven. Alice, trying to save herself, lies to Jasper, telling him that she's his mate.

     The whole room gasps at the screen but I just breathe trying to control my anger, feeling the rage in my chest bubble over. My eyes find Jasper, who glares at the unconscious girl while Rose and Emmett try to calm him down. Aleka quickly move over and takes him into her arms, where he immediately calms. Caius smiles at the two but quickly wipes it off when I give him a smirk. Such a softy. I start the screen again and we watch as her memories play quickly until it slows down and lands on Edward. It begins to show their.. relationship. We all cringe back as a scene of Alice and Edward in his bedroom pops up. Turns out, Edwards mate was Alice all along but since Alice was with Jasper, she couldn't be with him without letting on that she lied. So they had their secret romance behind the scenes.

In the years after that, Alice had a number of visions about me. All ending with me becoming Queen and killing them. So Edward and Alice began to form a plan around me, hoping to either be by my side or kill me. Alice had a few visions of Isabella, finding out she was not only the mate to Victoria and James but also the mate to Edward and Alice. And Isabella would have something they both want. Not only a baby but the Volturi throne. As Alice had many visions of Isabella on the throne with Edward, Victoria, James, and herself in the background.

And finally we see the last few visions that she had of me, when we were in Forks. They all ended with my death by Edward and Alice's hands with Isabella taking the Volturi throne. The screen turns black before fizzing out and I hear Caius growl. "Well, that was.. do we truly need to read the others mind?" I ask the two kings and queen. Marcus smiles at me and walks down, gently patting my hand. "Unfortunately I do think it's necessary to read his mind, though if you need to draw magic from someone to help, feel free to use me dear." I nod in agreement "thanks papa Marcus" before waving my hand and allowing Edward's memories to play.

We see him meet Alice and their relationship begin but with a few differences. Behind Alice's back, he had been speaking to Isabella before and after she had turned into a vampire. Not only that, he was sleeping with her too. Thats how he discovered he was mates with her. He was trying to find me. He convinced Isabella to hire not only the second round of men but even the first guy that I had killed. They are the reason Sammy died. They are the reason I went through all that. They planned it. He and Alice worked with her to try and kill me, even going as far as to giving them the prophecy about me. Anger builds in my chest as my stomach churns, the images still so fresh in my mind. The hands all over my body and my chest begins to heave.

Black shadows creep up the walls and enclose around us as I see Edward messing with my car before the wreck that brought Sammy back but killed me. I can't control the rage anymore as shadows lap at my feet. Magic thrums through my veins and my arms turn inky black. I immediately cut the screen off with a scream and slap Edward. He flies through the room, crashing into the marble wall and slides down with a thud. Cracks form around his face and arms, as he lays unconscious. My eyes burn with fury and I wave my hand, waking Alice up, but leaving Edward unconscious. She frantically looks around for the mind reader before spotting his crumped form in the corner.

Alice struggles against her restraints but to no use. Carlisle has a weeping Esme in her arms and he turn away from us. Dad goes to their side, holding Esme as well and tries to console them both. "Alice, Edward. I have decided your fates" I reply, turning to the pixie. Alice shakes in her chair as I use magic to drag Edwards body towards us. "As for Alice and Edward Cullen, along with your soulmates Isabella Swan, James Witherdale, and Victoria Sutherland; I sentence you to.. death" I yell and feel my eyes turn their dark black color. I quickly use my magic to engulf them both in blue hellfire. Alice screams for a few seconds before they both turn to ash. Then I turn around with a large smile, making a few of the others shrink back.

"So lunch anyone?"

After a large lunch in the garden, I walk with dad towards my personal room. "You know you could stay here if you wanted. I could resign and move here too" he says with a smile. My heart clenches at the thought but I shake my head no. "I need to finish school and plus, something big is happening in Forks. I feel it" I mumble, picking at the skin around my fingers. My mind replays the latest vision I had, guilt already pooling in my chest. Dad takes my hands and gently squeezes them "is this because of how I treated you? Because I will continue to apologize for that until the day I die." Tears fill his eyes and I wipe them away. "No, I understand why you acted that way. Your soulmates left you and your other daughter had disappeared as well."

Dad shakes his head in disapproval "no, it was and will never be okay or right Illiana. I was a horrible father to you and I'm so sorry. I promise to never touch any alcohol again. And I will be apologizing until the day I die baby, because you didn't deserve any of that." I smile ruefully at him and shake my head again. Guilt, pain, and anger pools in my chest. Guilt because whether or not he did do bad things, he was a great father. Pain because of what he did and said when his soulmates left him. And Anger because I didn't deserve any of that. I push it down with dad's happiness as my main focus. He gave up so much, so what if he was angry for a bit? We can go to therapy. It's not like we don't have time, right?

"It's truly okay dad, it was a mistake. We all make bad choices and I believe in second chances. Plus we have therapy right? Now if you don't mind, I want get a quick shower and then have some time with my soulmates. I suggest you do the same Romeo." I kiss his cheek and he chuckles before kissing my forehead. I shoot him a wide, fake smile and he pats my shoulder. "I'll be with Esme and Carlisle if you need me Lils" he whispers before walking down the stone corridor. I open my heavy door and quickly close it, sinking to my knees.

I finally let my emotions out, letting the pain fully hit me. All the rage, heart break, guilt, and grief build up until my magic spillover and lashes out around the room. Black magic clouds around the ceiling while black marks line the walls. My chest heaves as a large sob rips through me and I rock back and forth. Why? Why do I have to deal with all this?! I'm only 18! I deserve to be going to college and find in myself. Not ruling the supernatural and killing people. I'm not better than Isabella. Gods.

I'm startled by a pounding on the big wooden door. I wipe the stray tears away and roll my shoulder back, putting on the perfect mask. When I open the door I see Dad, Esme, Carlisle, Marcus, Didyme, Aleka, Caius, Rissa, Rose, Emmett, Jasper, Cali, Sammy, Jane, Alec, Demetri, Felix, and Sage. My brows furrow and I turn my head to the side "why are you all here?" Cali rolls her eyes and pushes past me before jumping on my bed. "Because we know you and you clearly aren't alright" Sage murmurs before taking me into her arms. My lip starts to quiver as I look at all the people around me and finally, I let the dam break. I dissolve into sobs as my loved ones hold me. The tears soon turn to laughter and we're all relaxing in my large room, enjoying each others company.

And I realized that instead of wishing to just disappear, what I really wanted was to just be found.

Authors note: thanks for reading! This chapter took me forever to plan out and is my way of ending this part. Now we move on the Eclipse/Breaking Dawn 1&2 and the final part! I have struggled to finish this book as I really don't like it. But I want to get it done for yall. I hope you enjoy it and please leave some idea for future chapters as I'm still unsure of how I want things to wrap up.

• Do you want her to get pregnant or no? I'm leaning towards no since most books go that way and she has the twins. I kinda want Rose and Aleka to get pregnant. Maybe even Rissa and Esme. Thoughts?

• Did I help explain things that were missing in the first parts? Like Charlie apologizing and Alice & Edwards crap. I know Charlie has a lot to make up for but as people pleaser, Lils just wants a family. Plus, Charlie had something else going on too 👀
