"W-What?!" Akane said in shock. "Nonono, there really is no need." Although she was comfortable talking to Lizzy, Akane still was shy around other people not involved with work, especially with those people that are friends with a co-worker.

"Nonsense!" Lizzy grinned, patting her co-worker friend's back. "It'll be okay. The guys are cool to hang out with. All you have to do is treat them like a customer for now...wait, that's not the right thing to say. Maybe-"

"I got what you mean," Akane interrupted with a soft smile. "If I think of them as customers, it won't be too scary for me to talk to them. That's what you wanted to say, right?"

"Yeah, that's exactly what I wanted to tell you! I sometimes say the wrong things in the wrong parts of the sentence...so let's go!" Lizzy and Akane went to the table where the four boys sat at. "Hey, guys!" Lizzy said to them.

"Hi Lizzy!" Jaden exclaimed, waving at his pal.

"Hey, I didn't know you worked here," Joey mentioned. "Why didn't you tell us?"

"I thought that was the idea of you and Yugi coming here," Lizzy replied with a confused look. "The others and I weren't supposed to tell you."

"Well, why not?!"

"Because that's how surprises work, Joey," Yusei answered calmly.

"Yeah," Jaden agreed with a smile. "Surprise!" While Joey was in shock and Yugi facepalmed, Lizzy put her hands on both of Akane's shoulders.

"Guys, this is Akane," Lizzy announced with a slight sweatdrop. "She's a fairly new employee that's been working around the same time I do."

"It-It's nice to meet you," Akane spoke with a small bow.

"Nice to meet you too," Yugi smiled. "How long have you been working here?"

"Um...it's been about two months now. I used to work in the mornings but then my shift was changed to the late afternoon."

"That's cool."

"Now here's the question," Lizzy said with a raised eyebrow. "Which one of us should serve you boys: me or Akane?"

"I don't know," Jaden spoke out, looking at the other boys. "What do you guys think?"

"It doesn't matter to me," Yusei replied honestly. Both Joey and Yugi responded the same way, which made the decision even more difficult. Ah, the beauty of indecisiveness.

"How about you give it a go, buddy?" Lizzy suggested with a wink to Akane. "I've served these guys tons of times during my shift."

"Are you sure?" Akane asked her co-worker, who began to walk to a few other tables to clean them.

"Yeah, go for it! Have fun!" When Lizzy went off, Akane gulped subtly and turned to the boys to take their drink orders.

"She seemed eager to walk off," Yusei noticed, watching the girl go off. "What happened to Lizzy?"

"A group of customers wanted a particular waitress to serve them earlier and it made Lizzy really annoyed," Akane explained.

"Yeah, I'd be annoyed too," Joey admitted. "Why does everyone ask for a particular waiter or waitress to serve them, anyway?"

"I don't know!" Jaden replied. "Sometimes Lizzy serves us and sometimes she doesn't, depending on who is available or not."

"Yes," Akane said softly. "So, what drinks can I get for you?"
