The Past Memories Part 2

"Oh, I remember this!" Lizzy exclaimed with a soft smile. "This was from that one time I went to the hospital."

"The hospital?!" Jaden said in shock. "W-What happened?"

"You mean you don't remember? It was after my violin performance in middle school!" Jaden furrowed his eyebrows, thinking of when this happened. His eyes widen as he said,

"Oh yeah! I remember now."

*Flashback Time*

Lizzy twirled her black hair as she stared out the hospital room window. She sighed sadly, wishing that she could be out in the sun with her friends. But she was too weak to leave the room. The day before yesterday, she participated in a violin recital at her middle school. She wanted to do her best, so she practiced many hours to memorize her music piece and master it. When the day of the performance came, she was so excited to play for everyone. She played her violin with everything that she got, which made her extremely tired by the end of the performance.

Unfortunately, she fell unconscious before she got off the stage. Then she woke up in the hospital. No one has visited Lizzy yet because she couldn't greet them. She was too fatigued for any visitors. Now that she was feeling better and sitting up by herself, Lizzy could receive visitors in her room. But who would come first? She had no idea. She sipped from her cup of water as she heard a knock on the door. A visitor already?

"Come in," she said, loud enough for the person to hear. The door suddenly opened and a familiar boy with brown hair dashed in with some books in his hands.

"Hey Lizzy!" the boy grinned. "I finally got the chance to see you. How are you feeling?"

"I'm feeling good today, Jaden," the girl answered with a small smile. "But it's strange that I'm stuck in this bed..."

"Why? Can't you just stand up?" Lizzy shook her head sadly.

"I've tried that earlier today but my legs don't have enough strength yet. I'm gonna try to stand again tomorrow though." Jaden frowned as he said,

"That sounds rough. You don't even sound like yourself. You're not that cheery. Are you sure you're gonna be okay?" It was true. Lizzy was usually happy-go-lucky with a cheerful personality. But now she was a bit quiet, giving her friend some small smiles whenever she could do one.

"Oh I'll be fine," Lizzy said. She then looked out the hospital window again. "I just need to keep myself from getting bored."

"Well, look no further because I have a solution!" The boy set the books that he had in his hands right next to Lizzy on the hospital bed. "I brought some books from school," Jaden explained to her. "I figured you wouldn't have anything to do here!"

"Aww, thanks! I appreciate you thinking of me. Are our classmates gonna visit too?"

"Yeah, they will eventually. But they did send you a get well note. I put it on one of the books so that I wouldn't lose it on the way here."

"Aww!!! You guys are too sweet to me."

That's the end of the chapter part!!! That is for reading and see you on the next part! :)
