"Are you sure that it's all right for me to come along?" Akane asked Lizzy as they walked down the street. "I don't want to intrude on your friend's birthday."

"Don't worry about it!" Lizzy insisted with a smile. "You're not intruding. This is all about celebrating and having fun. That's all you need to worry about."

"But I've never been to an arcade before..."

"Really?! Well, it's about to change today!" The two kept walking until the found the arcade at the corner of the street. The retro 'Arcade' sign on top of the front doors said it all with its neon lights. Lizzy opened the doors and exclaimed, "Hello, arcade and everyone in it!"

"You know, it's not just us in the arcade, right?" Yusei mentioned from inside the building, feeling a bit awkward.

"I don't care! I still said it anyway."

"Hi Lizzy!" Jaden exclaimed with a wave to her and Akane. "Hi Akane. You came to join us too?" The girl nodded as her response.

"I hope you don't mind that I came," Akane hoped. "Happy Birthday, by the way."

"I don't mind at all! The more people, the merrier we'll be. Thanks!" Jaden gave both the girls a cheeky grin before motioning to them to go over to him. "Come on, let's play!" he spoke happily.

"I'm all for it!" Lizzy exclaimed. She turned to Akane. "What do you say, work buddy?"

"I'll give it a try," Akane said softly. "But I don't think I'll be any good."

"That's okay! We'll teach you the ropes. You have nothing to fear."

Lizzy stayed focused on the game screen, trying to see if there are any more monsters that would appear on the screen. "Jay, keep your eyes open," she said aloud, pointing her arcade gun at the screen. "You don't know when more evil dudes are coming our way." Jaden gave her a nod as he carefully waited for more enemies. This was one of the few times he was focused, and it was on an arcade game.

"You got this!" Akane cheered, watching them play along with Yugi.

"This is the first time I've seen Jaden so intense," Yugi noted in surprise.

"Didn't you guys play Duel Monsters when the power went out in your complex? I heard you guys focused a lot then."

"Well, Jaden was having more fun than actually focus-" Yugi was interrupted by Lizzy's yelpas the monsters on the arcade screen appeared out of nowhere. He and Akane watched their friends in silence, too absorbed into the action.

"Yes, I got three enemies with one bullet!" Jaden grinned, still shooting at the screen with the arcade gun.

"How?!" Yugi and Akane exclaimed in shock.

"Thaaaaaat's Jaden for ya!" Lizzy announced with a laugh. "He's got luck for miles, my friends!"

"We won!" Jaden cheered. He and Lizzy high-fived each other, ecstatic that they beat the game. "That was awesome!"

"What's the other two doing?" Lizzy asked Yugi, putting down the arcade gun.

"Joey is playing a fighter game on the other side of the arcade," Yugi replied. "Yusei is playing some rhythm game nearby."

"Oh no, Yusei is gonna be on that rhythm game for hours!"

"So will Joey on that fighting game!"

"We'll never get out of here!!" Lizzy cried.
