  Kaneki's schedule so far:
Hour/Class/Teacher
1/English/Yoshimura
2/Gym/Yamori
3/Art/Irimi
4/Advisory/Koma

Kaneki had a feeling that his next class was going to be awful.
His expectations were easily met.
"Welcome, young children," the algebra teacher said, gesturing random with sparkles surrounding him. "I am Mr. Tsukiyama, and my only desire..." He paused and look directly at Kaneki. "Is to be of use to you." He blinked almost expectantly, but Kaneki looked away, pretty much terrified by this questionably not straight teacher.
Unfortunately, as he looked away from the sparkling Mr. Tsukiyama, he made direct eye contact with his math partner, who happened to be...
She giggled. "Kane-chi!"
Kaneki looked away from her. Oh crap...He tried to work individually on his homework, but Itori kept glancing at him, ruining his concentration, and Mr. Tsukiyama came over to look at his work.
"How are you doing, Kaneki?" he asked, standing a little too close.
Kaneki squirmed under the discomfort. "Um..."
"Are you having trouble with plugging something in?" the teacher asked, leaning even closer, and Kaneki's face paled.
"I'M FINE THANKS," he said loudly, causing other students to look over and notice that Mr. Tsukiyama was more or less perving on Kaneki.
Before Mr. Tsukiyama could say, "You smell nice; what cologne do you use?" Hide winked at Kaneki and raised his hand. "MR. TSUKIYAMA?" he practically shouted. "I AM HAVING TROUBLE! I NEED YOUR HELP! I THINK I BROKE MATH!"
Mr. Tsukiyama and sighed and waved at Kaneki. "I'll talk to you later, Kaneki."
As he walked away, Itori stuck her tongue out at him.
Kaneki sighed and rested his head on his desk in defeat. Math was going to be hell.

After algebra, he headed to physics, which was being taught by Mr. Nishio, who basically just hated everyone and told them to "do it perfectly the first time or drop his class."
Kaneki was terrified, but on a scale going from the terror of gym class to the terror of his algebra class, physics didn't even place.

His last class of the day was Home Ec (a requirement for his school) with Ms. Kirishima. That class passed smoothly and with almost no incident. However...
"I just can't even..." Hide moaned beside Kaneki as they tried to make something. All they were doing was burning whatever used to be in the pan...
Kaneki sighed, following Hide's line of sight to where his sister stood, apron on, next to Ayato. Rather, Ayato was sitting on the counter while his sister did all the work and cooked. However, Kaneki knew that his sister was as bad at cooking as he was...
Sure enough, Ayato figured out the same thing quite quickly. He snapped something at Kaze, who laughed in response and took of the apron.
Hide and Kaneki both dropped their mouths open as Ayato put the apron on himself, boosted Kaze up so she could sit on the counter, and took over their project.
"Why does he actually look like he knows what he's doing?" Hide complained, accompanied by the background music of his soul shattering.
"Because he grew up working in a cafe," Ms. Kirishima explained as she passed by.
"How do you know that?" Kaneki asked, curious.
Ms. Kirishima smiled. "Because he's my younger brother."
Hide temporarily died as Kaneki just sputtered. "B-but h-h-how..."
"Did we turn out so different?" she finished for him. In a single moment, her eyes darkened and she was surrounded by red flames. "Because he's a bratty idiot." The next second, she was back to her normal self, smiling gently. "So who's the girl next to him?"
Kaneki was at a loss as for what to say, especially after seeing Ms. Kirishima's demonic side. "UM UM UM."
Hide came back to life and fist punched the air. "That woman next to him is the love of my life!" he clarified loudly, and half the class turned to look at him, including...
...oh crap...
...Ayato.
"Say what you brat?" he growled, his eyes glowing darkly.
Hide put his hands on his hips. "Kaze belongs with me."
"What the hell kind of shit are you spouting?" Ayato asked angrily.
"Says the boy wearing an apron?" Hide asked in response, and Ayato breathed in deeply, beginning to walk over towards Hide, but Kaze grabbed his hand, pleading for him to stay with her eyes. Ayato hesitated as he looked at her, and Hide took that moment to add, "I think the frills look really good on you, Ayato-chan."
And that was it.
Ayato leaped over the counter and ran at Hide, and the two of them began fighting.
Rather..."fight" implies a two-way physical argument. In this case, it was just Ayato beating the crap out of Hide, and Hide being beaten the crap out of.
Kaneki slowly inched away in case Hide tried to ask him for help...
"Stop," a voice commanded, dragging Ayato off of Hide by the collar. Kaneki looked over to see a tall man with white hair holding Ayato back from killing Hide, who lay bruised and bloody on the floor.
"Thanks for coming, Dean Yomo," Ms. Kirishima said, smiling, and he nodded at her.
"No problem. I'm taking these two with me, is that okay?"
She nodded and the dean, Mr. Yomo, left, dragging both Hide and Ayato with him.
Kaneki sighed. His first day of high school...
...had pretty much sucked...
...and 90% of that...
...was Hide's fault.
