(Y/n) P.O.V

I call Meliodas over to me before Elizabeth, Diane, and myself all go shopping for my clothes. "You need something Laura?" Meliodas askes me, I nod "I... don't know if I want to go back to Zeldris and give him information. I love him, he's my mate but, what he is doing is wrong. He isn't the sweet boy I used to know, I want to avoid him." I mutter.

Meliodas sighs and places a hand on my left shoulder, "(Y/n), this is the best advice I can offer. Zeldris is really a good man and a good younger brother, but you aren't wrong, I personally don't want you hurt, just as much as I don't want you to abandon Zeldris. But there is a point where you should decide what you think is best, whether you think you, your mate, or they lives of others is more important."

  I smile and nod as be finishes his sentence, he walks away without another word. I leave to go out with the girls to buy clothes, making my choice as I walk out the door.

●two weeks later●

Zeldris' P.O.V

Estarossa and I fly out to meet (Y/n) in the forest, we arrive forest and wait. We wait for 10 minutes, only a minute later and I start to pace. "Calm down, brother, She'll be here." Estarossa tries to comfort me, it fails. "(Y/n) is never late, not once in the years I've known her, She's always early. Unless... she's trying to run away, but she wouldn't do that, right? She wouldn't leave me alone again, right?" I start to shake as I pace, Estarossa tries (is it tries or trys?) to grab me but I shake off his hand. 20 minutes go by. "Damn it!" I yell, cutting down a tree with my sword out of rage.

Estarossa sighs, "lets go back Zel, maybe she forgot it was tonight." He tells me "yeah.. maybe she just forgot." I hesitantly fly away from the forest, wanting to tear up and cry, I hope (Y/n) didn't leave me again, I missed her so much.

(Y/n) P.O.V

  It's a busy night at the Boar Hat Tavern, I'm rushing back and forth, serving drinks and meat pies from table to table, barely keeping up even with Elizabeth's and Diane's extra help. Calling it packed was an understatement, I was more focused on thinking of Zeldris reacting to me not being there then the drink I was almost spilling. "(Y/n), are you alright? Do you need a break?" King asks me, clearly worried as he takes the drink out of my hand, gives it to the table and brings me to sit on the steps. I had talked to King a lot the past two week, he was a very good listener. He doesn't need to know about Zeldris though, Meliodas never told him, and I won't either. "I'm just really tired, it's okay." I lie to him "you should have a break (Y/n), you've been working all night." I sigh and agree to take a break. Meliodas lets me off the rest of the night despite my arguing, I walk up and go to sleep in my bed across from Elizabeth's.

●The next day●

Elizabeth wakes me up like always, saying that if she didn't I would sleep for years. "You know what, I wouldn't mind sleeping for years." I say as I yawn. "We're going out today looking for supplies, would you like to come?" Elizabeth asks me. I nod my head and get into a medium length flowy white dress. I was tasked with berry picking, I go out into the forest behind the tavern and find a large area of berries. I start to pick and put the berries in my basket when I feel a figure fly down from the sky to right behind me. I know who it is.

  "(Y/n), where were you last night?" The person said, I knew the voice, it was the voice I was so nervous to hear, the one I was still longing for. "Zel?" I ask turning around to see the raven hair. "I'll ask again, where were you last night?"
