(I was going to do the poems but I changed my mind)

Heaven

"I can't believe we both got an A" I smiled as we exited 3rd block

"Your poem was amazing by the way" he smirked

"So was yours. I didn't know you knew so much about me" I bit my bottom lip

"I've been observing, baby" he backed me against my locker

I giggled as he leaned in and kissed my lips. Every time we kissed it felt like sparks were dancing around us. His warm, strong arms around me mad me feel safe and secure.

"Could y'all move?" Keyona's voice boomed

The update on our friendship: We talk but not as much as we used to. She's showed me things that made me take a different look at her.

"Don't hate, dickface" Chris moved to the side, bring me along

"Shut up. Fuckin' punk" she growled

"I'm going to lunch, you coming?" he asked, ignoring her

"I'll be there in a second, babe" I said

"Aight. Don't take to long" he pecked my lips and walked off

"So...what's your problem?" I finally asked Keyona

She's been acting like this since before me and Chris even became a couple. Now she's 10 times worse.

"What you mean?" she asked

"You and your smart remarks when Chris is around" I said

"I just don't like him for you. Y'all are complete opposites" she shrugged

"Actually, me and him have a lot in common." I defended

Which we do. He's just more outgoing.

"Like what?" she squinted

"I'm not going to sit here and explain myself to you like you're my mother" I smacked my lips at her

And it's true, I wasn't. I knew all the things we have in common and he does too. That's all that matters.

"Whatever. He probably doesn't even like you." she scoffed

"What the hell, Keyona"

"I know Chris better than you. He's done this same routine with about every girl in this school." she said

"You know what? I'm not gonna let you even make me question my relationship with him." I chuckled at her attempt to put me in a bad mood

"I'm just warning you, best friend" she shrugged

"I think you should chill on that best friend stuff. Real friends don't pull the type of mess you trying to pull" I said before walking off

I headed to the cafeteria where I seen Chris sitting with Mario and Keeis.

"I got you some cookies" Chris said

"Thanks, baby" I pecked his lips, taking them

"Thanks, baby"Keeis mocked me

"Do y'all kiss for everything?" Mario groaned

"Shut the fuck up" Chris squinted

"What he said" I chuckled

"Anyway, you tryna smoke after school bro?" Mario asked

I didn't say anything, I was going to let him answer for himself. Even though I don't like him smoking, it's his decision at the end of the day.

"Nah." he declined

"You missing out." he shrugged

"Nah. I'm not" Chris looked at me and smiled

"Let's get to class" I grabbed my book bag as the bell rang

"See y'all lovebirds later!" Mario and Keeis shouted for the entire cafeteria to hear

"Your friends are...different" I laughed as we held hands walking to class

"Don't remind me" he shook his head

"Can I get a kiss?" I asked before we went in the class

"You like my kisses huh?" he smirked, looking down at me

"Sure do"'I giggled

"Can't wait to kiss yo other lips" he licked his lips

"Nasty" I slapped his chest playfully

"You nasty for knowing what it mean" he chuckled deeply and kissed me

Our kiss was cut short, hearing someone clear their throat.

"Get the fuck out the way" Elijah snarled

"Aye bruh, watch ya language" Chris clenched his jaw

"Y'all in the fuckin' way!" He yelled

"Don't get knocked out yo shoes lil nigga" Chris let me go

"Babe, let's get in class" I grabbed his arm

"Better listen to yo girl" Elijah smirked

"I'ma save you the embarrassment" Chris chuckled angrily and walked into the class

"How you been, Heaven?" Elijah grinned at me

I scoffed and headed into class as well, sitting beside Chris.

"You ok?" I whispered

"I'm good. But next time he disrespect me or you he getting dealt with" he said

I nodded and sat back in my seat.

"You coming to my house?" Chris asked as we walked out the building

"I can't. I gotta help decorate" I sighed

"Yo uncle picking you up?" He asked

"Yeah."

"You gone call me when you get home?" he wrapped his arms around my waist

"You know I am" I smirked and stood on my tiptoes, kissing him

I wrapped my arms around his neck as his stayed on my waist. We didn't care that it was cold outside, we just enjoyed being around each other.

"Aight that's enough" my uncle pulled up

I put my face in Chris's chest out of embarrassment.

"I'll call you" I pecked his lips one more time

"Aight. Wassup Steve!" Chris greeted my uncle

"Sup youngin'." my uncle responded

I waved at Chris before we pulled off

"You in like with that boy" he said

"In like?" I chuckled

"Yeah. Not far from in love" he nodded

"I guess I am in like" I smiled

"Long as you don't make no in love love until you 70." he kept a straight face

"Uncle Steve" I laughed

"I'm just saying, sugafoot" he laughed a little

Chris

"Ma! I'm home" I tossed my book bag on the couch

"Hey baby" another females voice

"What the hell?" I turned around, greeted by an old friend

"Not the reaction I was hoping for but it'll do" she shrugged and laughed

"How the hell you get in?"

"The key under the mat. I know this place like the back of my hand. I used to come here all the time after school. Remember?" she wrapped her arms around my neck

"Yeah I remember. I also remember when you sucked the entire football team up" I pushed her off me

"Aw baby don't be like that" she started taking off her shirt

"You needa leave" I ignored her actions

"Leave? I don't think you want me to" she chuckled and rubbed her fingertips down my chest

"No! I want you to get the fuck out right now!" I yanked her arm and pushed her out

"But baby! We had something special!" she shouted as I slammed the door in her face

"Chris open up!" she continued banging until she got tired

"Crazy ass bitch" I plopped on the couch and turned on the tv.
