Indigo had decided to go back to Iowa early with Kate, since she felt bad for making her mom pick her up and take her back home for Christmas.

So, now the two girls were parked outside of Starr's apartment complex. "Thanks for driving me" Indigo smiled looking over at the girl.

"Anytime" Kate smiled back before Indigo embraced her in a quick hug. The dark haired girl then made her way out of the car and pulled her suitcase out. She gave Kate a quick wave before walking inside the building and clicking the number of the apartment floor.

She hadn't told Starr that she was coming back early, and was kind of hoping it was going to be a nice surprise, so when the elevator doors opened her stomach filled with anxiety as she made her way to the door.

She quietly unlocked it and rolled her suitcase inside, but as she did she heard sounds coming from the bedroom. Her stomach immediately sunk to the depths of hell when she realized what Starr had been doing during her time away.

She took a deep breath in as she walked to the door. She opened it and stared at the girl she called her girlfriend in bed with a redhead. Indigo watched as Starr's face turned from pleasure to embarrassment in the span of a second. "Oh no, don't stop on my account! I'm just here to pick my things up and leave" Indigo smiled walking into the room and grabbing her stuff.

"Babe, please I swear it was an accident" Starr started apologizing as she dressed herself in her clothes and yelled at the other girl to leave.

"An accident?" Indi scoffed turning around to look at the girl. "You don't just accidentally let another girls fingers be inside of you." All she could do was let out a laugh at how dumb Starr sounded.

"I'm sorry. I just really missed you" Starr stuck out her lip as her hands made their way to Indigo's exposed stomach.

"No. You didn't fucking miss me! Because if you did, you would've called like a normal person" Indigo spat, pushing Starr's hands off her body and throwing things into a suitcase. Luckily over the month of her living here, she hadn't brought much so it wasn't too bad to pack in a hurry.

"We can work this out!" Starr begged walking behind Indi as she picked all her things up.

"We're done, Starr. You're a horrible fucking human. I mean first you don't let me talk to my best friend, that I've had since I was little, second you got me into a fucking car wreck!, and third you cheated on me with your friend that you always claimed you were just friends with" Indigo's voice was full of anger, but her body didn't show it. The most it showed was that she was annoyed with the girl, and that's what she wanted. She wanted to seem like Starr barely had any effect on her.

"Indi, I'm sorry"

"Don't call me that. Don't text me, call me, dm me, nothing" Indigo shook her head as she dropped the keys to the apartment on the table and brought her bags of stuff into the hallway and headed for the elevator. Starr just stayed put and watched the girl leave.

Indi flung all of her stuff into the elevator and as soon as she was in the garage, she threw the things in car and quickly got into the drivers seat.

That's when all her emotions it her like a train wreck. All the stuff she had been through in just the span of five weeks was eating at her. And the fact her hand was still having to be tapped up everyday just added to it.

Hot tears stained her cheeks as she laid her head on the steering wheel and let out uncontrollable sobs. She had been forced to push everyone she loved away. Ysa, Kate, Jada, Caitlin. Everyone.

Kate.

The name stayed in the back of her mind. Everything she had put Kate through. The stress she probably caused her when she got into the accident and then to her pushing her out of her life, just like what Kate had done to her years ago.

She wanted nothing more than to apologize all over again like she had done on Christmas Eve. She wanted Kate to know she was so sorry for everything. She just wants Kate.
