"Just about an hour ago, Alice had ordered an attack on the castle of moniyan empire. Everyone is now asked to report to head quarters tomorrow by 7:00 am sharp. We need you all to be there. All the heroes from each city are required to come"

"Alright, we'll be there"

The call had ended as everyone surrounded the feline.

The girl sighed, disappointed she had to ruin the moment.

"War has officially started"

Everyone gasped at her words. There were questions they wanted answers to, but it seems that they had to ask later.

All of a sudden, Melody appeared behind the young feline. She caught their attention immediately, a serious look plastered on her face.

"I got a call from Natalia" the young mage said

"I assume you did too..?"

The feline nodded in response. Melody heaved a big sigh, the same serious look still plastered on her face.

"Start packing, we leave tomorrow at 6:30" Melody stated. Everyone nodded and went back to their rooms. In a hurry, everyone started packing.

"Is everyone done packing?" Melody asked. The group nodded in response as they walked up to her with their bags.

Melody turned to the other direction and started chanting. A portal had suddenly appeared in front of them.

Seeing their shocked faces, Melody decided to explain.

"This portal will immediately take us back to the land of dawn"

"It should teleport us to where we're supposed to be" she added

Melody walked in first, followed by Nana, then Harley, and so on.

Soon enough, they were back in the land of dawn.

In front of them were their families, who had been waiting for their arrival.

The clock strikes 7 and everyone was now in the room. The atmosphere was dark and serious, it made everyone in the room worried.

In the front row was the young feline, who was sitting beside her friends. A hint of fear was evident in the feline's face, but she covered it up with the remaining courage within her.

Slight whispers were heard, talking about the war ahead of them.

The room fell silent as Natalia, Tigreal's secretary walked up on stage.

"I believe you all know why you're here"

"Today, the castle has been attacked by demons. Fortunately, no lives were lost in battle. Yet, there were a lot of serious injuries our healers are trying to heal at the moment" Natalia stated

"This event signifies that Alice officially wants war" Natalia continued

"According to our spies, Selena has discovered a new spell that could lead to treason"

"The spell was combined with her abyssal arrow, making everyone hit by it turn to the abyss"

Gasps were heard all around the room. Selena, being the abyssal witch had discovered one of the dark secrets. Everyone knew that this would give the abyss the upper hand.

"It may seem like they have the upper hand... But we can counter Selena's spell"

Once again, the room fell silent, waiting for Natalia's said counter.

"Our young Mages have discovered a spell to reverse the effect of Selena's new ability"

Having said, Melody all if a sudden appeared in the room, HARITH, beside her.

"Melody, would you mind explaining the spell you have discovered?" Natalia said

"The spell Harith and I discovered requires a certain gem for it to work, which we easily acquired with the help of our magic."

"The gem is called, Mystic quartz. Combined with the spell we discovered, gaining contact with the gemstone will cause the entity to turn back to the empire" Melody explained

"It even has the ability to make someone from the abyss turn to the empire, quite similar to Selena's spell now that I think about it" Melody added.

"Thank you Melody" Natalia said.

"And as only a few of you know, Melody and Harith are the empire's secret weapons, and they shall only participate in the final battle" Natalia added.

"You are all dismissed. Make sure to meet back here tomorrow, 7:00 sharp" Natalia concluded.

Everyone had exited the meeting room. As the group of friends were about to exit, Harith and Melody approached them.

"Hey guys!" Melody called.

The group looked over to their direction and smiled.

"Hey Melody!" Nana exclaimed.

The two walked into their direction, hoping to start a conversation.

"So um... Nana, you already know Harith" Melody started. A big smile was now evident in the feline's face. "Of course!" Nana exclaimed. Harith himself also had a smile plastered on his face. He spread his arms open, knowing Nana was gonna hug him.

She did. Melody smiled, happy that the two siblings were finally united. Confused looks came from their friends, and a hint of jealousy was evident in Harley's eyes.

"Guys, meet Harith, Nana's brother" Melody stated. Everyone's confused looks faded as they collected the information, The jealousy from Harley's eyes had also faded at the state.

The two leonins had let go of the hug and faced their friends. "How come we've never met him before?" Chang'e asked.

"Well, we were separated when we were Young. Our grandparents took him, and my parents took me"

"Later on, My parents and I received news about Grandpa's near death experience, and Harith being sent to the moniyan empire" Nana continued

"When I got older, I started visiting grandpa more often, but Harith wasn't there"

After sharing their story the group of friends were led outside the castle by Melody and Harith.

Before they left, the group decided to keep their conversation going for as long as they can.

Melody, being the shortest in the group, had trouble to conversing with the rest. Everytime she was gonna say something, she had to look up. Harith had eventually noticed this.

He found it funny, but also felt bad. He had brought it to the attention of the others, Melody scratching the back of her neck as Harith explained.

They figured that sitting down would fix the light issue, and it did. The group had continued their conversation until it started getting dark.

Everyone had said their goodbyes as the group walked home. As usual, the young magician walks with the feline until she gets home.

The moment the feline got home, she gave her lover a goodbye kiss on the cheeks before entering the house. She did her nightly routine and flopped onto her bed.

"Tomorrow's gonna be a long day..." The feline whispered to herself
