Riley's house, the day after, 9am.

Riley's POV

"SHE'S HERE!! MAYA HART IS IN THE BUILDING!!" I screamed, running into my parents' room.

"'Sup losers!" Maya didn't even bother to shut the door. "Hey Riles." She said while hugging me.

"PEACHES!!" I squealed. "I can't believe you're staying here for 7 days IN A ROW!! FINALLY!!" I grabbed her by the arm and dragged her from the main room to my bedroom. I hopped up and down and squealed.

"Calm down there, Smiley." She grinned and patted me on the shoulder.

I started hopping up and down and making a weird face. I was trying so hard not to freak out. At the same time I was cracking her up, so it was a 2-for 1 I guess.

Maya stared at me for a while and tilted her head to the side. "What?" Maya asked, rolling her eyes. "Okay, let it out."

I didn't hesitate. I flopped down onto the bay window. "YYYAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!" I yelled.

"Aw, I love ya, Riles." She grinned.

"Hey Maya. How are you?" Mom came into my room.

"Good Mrs. Matthews. And you?" Maya asked politely. My little peaches is growing up so fast!!

"I'm fine." Said Mom. My mom hugged her.

"Hi Maya!" Dad came into the room.

"Matthews!! How you been?" Maya punched him in the arm.

He scowled at her, but he was obviously trying to hide a grin, then she jumped into his arms and hugged him. He didn't even try to hide his smile this time. He broke into a huge grin.

"So, what do you want to do first?" I asked.

"CHARADES!!!" Maya screamed. Charades is her favorite game. We walked into the main room again to play.

Maya's POV (Playing charades in the main room)

"I'll act first, you guess!!" Riley said.

She thought for a moment, pursing her lips. Her phone went off. She read the text.

"OOH!!" She cried.

She started flapping her arms and squawking.

"BIRD!" I guessed.

She nodded, then motioned for me to proceed into more detail.

"Uhh..." I thought.

She flapped her arms again and then made a heart with her fingers and acted all lovesick all while flapping her hands around like a bird.

"LOVEBIRD! Lovebird? Why lovebird??" I asked.

She motioned towards her phone.

"OOOH OOH!! I KNOW THIS ONE!!! Phone. Text??" I guessed again.

Riley shook her head and flapped her arms again.

"TWITTER!!!!!!!" I screamed and jumped up and down. I was getting really into this!

"Riley, use your words. Oh! So now you're a mime???" I asked sarcastically.

She did the classic 'mime in an invisible shrinking box' act while I laughed like crazy.

"Wait, Riles, so why lovebird? You never told me." I asked again.

"Because-" she got cut off.

"Hello family!!" Uhh, there is only ONE person who uses that phrase...

 Uncle Josh showed up OUT OF NOWHERE. He's not supposed to be here!! Not that I'm complaining or anything...

Riley shoved her phone at me. I read a text from Josh aloud.

"Hey Riley, I'm coming to your house. I'll be there in 5 minutes.

Hope you don't mind the surprise visit,

~Uncle Josh"

"OHHH!!" I said.

"Uncle Josh! Why are you here??" Riley asked.

He plopped his suitcase onto the ground before answering.

"Schnoopaloop, my roommate, remember him? Well, he got a girlfriend, and she's at my place with Schnoop doing God knows in the other room, and I feel really awkward and out of place. She's moving in with us, so I left. I'm crashing here until I find a place." Josh replied.

"Mah brotha!" Cory man-hugged Josh.

"Mah brotha!" Josh said back to him.

"Hey Josh!! Good to see you!" Topanga entered the room.

"Hey Topey!" Josh said. Topanga hugged him.

"UNCLE JOSH!!!" Auggie ran into the room.

"AUGGIE!! Come here, bud!" Josh said, throwing Auggie onto his shoulders and carrying him around.

"Hi, Uncle Josh!" Riley greeted him. Josh walked over to her and hugged her.

"UNCLE JOOOOSH!" Auggie whined.

"Yeah Aug?" Josh asked.

"You forgot to say hello to Maya." Auggie told him and giggled mischievously.

"She's here?" Josh asked and swiveled his head around, making Auggie giggle like a little toddler.

"Yeah. I'm here." I said.

I stepped forward. "Hi Josh."

"Hey Maya." Josh walked over to me after carefully dropping Auggie on the couch.

"Uncle Boing." I sighed. I hugged him and he actually hugged me back!!!

"For the millionth time, and  for old time's sake," Josh grinned. "I'm not your uncle, Maya." He chuckled. 

"So..." I gave him a devilish grin.

"Oh no." he said.

"Oh yeah." I said.

"You're gonna-" I cut him off.

"Yep."

"Right on my-" I cut him off again.

"Mhmm." I nodded.

"We have to?" He asked.

"Of course." I grinned.

"You're not too old for it?" He asked me.

"Never will be, Boing." I said.

"That nickname won't get old either." He said.

"Neither will this!" I said, then hopped up onto his shoulders.

"Get off me, you little ferret!!" He yelled it just like he did the first time!!

He wobbled around, Spinning and hopping up and down.

We both crashed onto the couch laughing our heads off.

Cory's POV

Josh..? He hugged  Maya back  for the first time. He's acting... different around her. Something's going on, and I don't like it.

They are both older now. Maybe it's time. maybe 'someday' is now.

I know he's my baby brother, but, Maya is like a daughter to me. Josh has the rep of being a heartbreaker.

Just because he's my brother doesn't mean I'll take it easy on him.

"Aw! You two would be so cute together!" Topanga squealed.

"Shuddup." I said.

Josh snickered and Maya giggled.

"Okay, something's up!" I announced. "What is it?!" I demanded.

"What Matthews? Nothing's up!" Maya replied innocently.

"Yeah, Cor, you gotta chill." Josh replied coolly.

"Fine. Whatever." I said.

"We just haven't seen each other in forever!" Josh said. "Hey, Maya, I don't have your number. Can I punch my number into your phone?"

"Sure!" Maya replied eagerly and gave Josh her phone.

He punched his number in and said "Text me later." and winked at her. He winked. Joshua Matthews does NOT wink!

"Alright. So Riley, before we were so rudely interrupted," Maya fake-glared at Josh. "where were we?"

"It's your turn in charades." Riley replied.

"Right." Maya said.

Maya's POV

I thought about what I was going to act out. AN EMU!!

I flapped my arms and stood on one foot.

"Umm... are you an ostrich?" Riley asked.

I shook my head.

"FLAMINGO!" Yelled Auggie.

I shook my head a second time.

"TASSELED WOBBEGONG!!" Josh yelled suddenly.

Riley, Auggie, and I  gave him a weird look.

"What? It's a thing!" Josh reinforced his shakey and strange logic.

"You're weird, Uncle Josh." Auggie said.

They obviously didn't understand that I was an emu, so I gave them a subtle hint.

"EEEMUUUUU!" I grunted under my breath.

"EMU!" Yelled Riley.

"SHE'S A GENIUS!" I declared.

"I already went, so Auggie, you go next." said Riley.

Auggie thought for a moment. Then he got on his hands and knees.

"Meow" He squeaked. He licked his 'paw' and rubbed it on top of his head like a cat.

"Who could possibly guess that one!" I said.

"Cat!" Josh shouted. Oh yeah! Forgot he was here... And also thicker than the Great Wall of China.

I smacked him on the chest and winked at him twice.

"OHHHHH... oops." Josh groaned.

"Retard." said Riley.

"I am your uncle young lady!" Josh said. He was trying to keep a straight face, but I could tell he was hiding a grin.

"Okay Josh, your turn." I said.

"Crap. Okay, lemme think." he paused. "Okay, got it." he said.

He stretched his arms out in front of himself and clapped them together.

"I'm at a loss for words." I muttered.

"I don't know." said Auggie.

"I'm stumped." said Riley.

"I'm a Yeti Crab. DUHH! Wasn't it obvious?" Josh asked.

"Yeah. Mmhm. Okay." Riley said sarcastically.

"Kids! Time for breakfast!" Topanga yelled from the kitchen.
