It took me five seconds to realise what was going on and to remove my lips from his. I watched his face and it seemed that he was as speechless as me. He opened his mouth as if he was going to say something when I felt on hand on my shoulder. I quickly turned around to see Larry smiling at me.

"Now that was an enthusiastic greeting" he said.

The audience laughed and clapped while I chuckled nervously. My heart was beating rapidly and I was surprised that no one could hear the deafening sound it made. I didn't mean to kiss Ashton-even if it was a five seconds kiss. It was not like we started making out in front of everyone.

That wouldn't have been bad.

I shook my head as I went back to my seat to get rid of other similar thoughts. It was just an accident. No need to over think this. I'm sure Ashton already forgot about it.

"Mackenzie!"

I looked up to find seven pairs of eyes staring at me. "I'm sorry, what?"

They all laughed at that except Ashton who smirked at me, amusement clear in his eyes. Now why were they laughing at me like that?

"Ashton mate, I think that little kiss you shared, turned her brain mushy." Michael said, obviously finding the situation funny.

I narrowed my eyes at the now blond-haired boy and he had the nerve to wink at me.

"I'll have you know that it didn't turn my head mushy. I was just thinking that it could have been better."

My eyes widened and I quickly put my hand on my mouth to prevent further embarrassment. I can't believe I actually said that. Something must really be wrong with me.

"Anyway, leave the poor girl alone. It was nothing but an accident." That came from Mr. Irwin himself.

After that, everything kind of passed in a blur. The boys answered a few questions from Barry and Larry and also from a few fans that were in the audience. They also gave me a CD of their LiveSOS album before pulling me into a group hug. This was seconds before they said goodbye to everyone and left the studio while I went back to my seat next to my family.

The show ended a few minutes later and we set off to go back home. On the way back, I was silent as I was thinking back to what happened during the last hour. I got to meet my favourite band, see them perform live, get an autographed album for free and not to forget, I accidentally kissed one of the members.

"Kenzie honey, are you okay?" my mum's voice pulled me out of my thoughts. She was looking at me with a slightly worried expression.

I gave her a soft smile. "Yes, mum. I'm alright. Thank you guys for doing this for me. I don't know how you did it but it was the best surprise ever."

I met Dad's eyes in the mirror above his head as he said, "You're welcome, Tweety! I'm glad you had fun."

I rolled my eyes at his nickname for me. Yes, he nicknamed me Tweety after the Looney Tunes canary. He told me that when I was little, I used to sing the song that Tweety sang in each and every episode of Looney Tunes. I knew the song by heart and that's how the nickname came up.

Nel snickered before saying, "Yeah, Tweety you really had fun tonight. I wonder what Alex will say."

Holy guacamole! I forgot about Alex!

Someone give me the worst girlfriend award right away. Alex was my boyfriend. Actually, his full name was Alexandre Gregoire Dubois and yes he was French. He moved here from France when he was only three, but he still had a slight accent which was really cute.

His mother quickly became friends with mine when they met at work. They always went out together, obviously bringing us along and with time Alex and I became very good friends. I guess you could say that when puberty kicked in, we both realised that we liked each other. That's how our friendship evolved to a relationship.

But right now, I was really anxious about his reaction to what took place earlier. I couldn't believe that the whole evening, not once did he come to my mind. He was my boyfriend after all!

Maybe Alex hadn't watch the show tonight or if he did, he would see that kiss as it really was-only an accident. The first option being less than probable, I was hoping for the latter to be true.

I glared at Nel before saying, "He won't say anything because nothing happened."

She lifted her hands as if to calm me down. "Hey! I was just joking. No need to get angry for that!"

"Girls! Please, don't start now. We had a great evening and you won't spoil it with your childish disputes!"

After saying that, Mum looked at us pointedly and then turned back to her conversation with Dad. It was like she was yelling at us a few seconds ago. I hated it when she did that. You would think that my mum was all roses and daisies when you first saw her. But let me tell you, you wouldn't want to get on her bad side because she was scary as hell!

The last few minutes back home were quiet except from Mum and Dad talking about adult things. They even tried to include us in their conversation at some point. Well I'm sorry, but I didn't want to talk about Aunty Celeste and her last boy toy. She was in her late forties and the last boyfriend she brought back home for Christmas with the family, looked young enough to be her own son!

Dad finally put the car in the driveway. As we entered the house, I couldn't help but think that only one hour or so ago, my favourite band had been here. It was the same when I entered my room. It looked all the same. The only thing that showed that 5 Seconds of Summer was here, was the poster of them on the wall and the ruffled sheets.

Suddenly, I felt a pair of arms wrap themselves around me and judging from the height at which they hugged me, I already knew who it was.

"Did you like your surprise Kenzie?" I heard Dimitri's muffled voice ask.

"Yeah, I did." I replied as I turned around to hug him back. I liked those moments when we would stop bickering and just talk. Even if he annoyed me to no end, I loved him with all my heart. He was my baby brother after all.

"You're a really good actor, by the way. You had me thinking that you would be miserable at Solene's today." I said as I ruffled his hair.

He grinned then scrunched up his nose as he usually did when he was thinking about something. "They are really cool those guys." he finally said.

"Who?" I asked dumbly.

He rolled his eyes, removed my arms from around him and took a few steps back. Well, I guess the cute sister-brother moment was over.

"Ashton, Michael, Calum and Luke!" he replied.

"Oh right."

"Yeah. I think I understand now why you like them so much!" Dimi said. "I'm gonna go now. I'll leave you to your beauty sleep and God knows that you need it!"

I grabbed the nearest thing at hand, which was a pillow, and threw it at him. "Go take a shower you troll!" I shouted as the pillow missed Dimi's head. He snickered and went back to his room.

I flopped down on my bed and took out my phone. I saw 2 missed calls and 4 messages. I checked the missed calls first and saw that they were both from an unknown number. I didn't dwell on it any longer and quickly went through the messages.

I groaned when I read the last one. I was in big trouble right now. I didn't need any drama and it seemed that it had found me anyway.

I changed into boy shorts and a tank top before jumping in my bed and snuggling under the covers. I plugged in my earphones and put on Say Something by A Great Big World and Christina Aguilera. A few minutes later, I was off to Dreamland.
