5: Separate Lives
Tahno's arms wrapped around the feminine waist, warm robes draped over each other as the grip was set. A head sliding it's way in the valley of her shoulder and her neck, long dark hairs laying lazily against her as a chilled but smooth pair of lips dusted her skin. He had only just met her in the public baths, but he was sure he'd be able to hit it off. He needed something before the big day, and he thought this would be it.
The girl would've jumped straight out of her skin if it wasn't for his grip, having not expected such a famous figure to be interested in her. She was warm against him, something he wasn't used to at first but had grown to enjoy after a few minutes. Her voice coming out a little shaky as she crossed her legs within her thin robe.
"T-Tahno? Don't you have to practice before the big match?!"
She scolded lightly only getting him to bury his head in her robe more kissing the exposed skin that the slipping fabric couldn't hide. It made her shiver and she tilted her head in the opposite direction to give him room.
Tahno was a little surprised that she moved so easily, his hands moving a little; thumbs rubbing circles on her arms, feeling her as she swayed against him. Sure, he had never done this before— attempting to seduce a stranger in a bath— but he didn't mind taking his time, holding her firmly against him as though he wanted to become part of her.
She gave a small moan as he nibbled on her flesh and he stopped for a second. His head moving, tilting.. to look at her. She blushed and huffed as her eyes connected with his own before she casted them away and looked back sideways and shockingly a smile danced onto his lips making him look soft— more touchable than his usual persona. He had a weakness for that look, the sideways one. It was very swampy and as much as he didn't want to admit it, he was comfortable with it.
His naked hand had moved up her body, slowly but surely until he reached her flustered face. Calmly he cupped her chin feeling her jump a little before making her look at him once more. His eyes bright clashing with her own and for a second they stood like that, breaths mingled, her lip trembling thirsty for his touch until the door moved slightly.
"Oh my!" The girl exclaimed.
She yelped remembering what she had been doing before the door opened. She wiggled away from Tahno taking his arm off of her. Tahno frowned. Why were city girls so... mercurial? They were constantly all over him, but the second the affection is returned, they shy away. Especially in public. Tahno watched her with sharp eyes, a light blush on his cheeks as Shaozu peeked inside catching the male's attention.
He gave him a thumbs up to which Tahno looked away from with more of a blush, his pale skin growing red. He almost hated how onboard his friend was with his love life. Almost. On the other hand, he was sure that his friends judged him for having both you and other women.
Once the door was closed, his eyes were on her. Slowly she looked up at him and he blinked. She had then lifted a brow.
"Tahno?"
"Yes, darling?"
He spoke simply looking down at her, he seemed so calm, of course she couldn't notice how sweaty his palms had gotten or how hard his heart beat in his chest. Of course she couldn't tell how his lungs started to burn or how dry his throat had gotten. Of course she didn't know how much he wanted someone that wasn't her. How much he longed for your touch, for your body, for you.
"Is something the matter?" She pushed her hair behind her ear, giggling and scooting up more until their knees touched again. He looked down and hummed softly, not expecting how she climbed into his lap sitting on top of him. It was just like a city girl to go right back to it when the door got closed. At least he knew what to expect. His eyes wide and body frozen as her soft hand came up to press against his forehead as though checking his temperature. She hummed and leaned down shuffling her head close to his ear before kissing it. A whisper leaving her teasing warm lips.
"Because you're look rather...hot, to me."
He laughed. How could he not? It was so cheesy. But that certainly wouldn't stop him.
Meanwhile, you had begun cooking up a special meal. Bug stew. It had taken some extra money and time, but someone had gotten the ingredients for you. You hoped it might bring some luck and comfort. But for whom, you weren't so sure.
