Oh dear heavens...

This includes some of my ships, and some I do not ship. But nonetheless, I have decided to do this because why?

Well I wanted to see what people ship in this here fate fandom and I wanted to do something ig I was bored.

I've provided fanart of each ship and as usual none of it is mine.

Anyway let's go!!!

I'll do ships I dislike then a ship I do like so you get a variety instead of a bunch of positive and an overload of negative. Well at least I tried to. Also I got my friend to rate them with me!

1: Artoria x archer!gil (not for me.)

.... Okay what??

I guess people ship them cause archer said "she's the only one worthy to be my wife"

....

But I do NOT see it happening.

Plus there are better people to ship them with.

(Also, I do kinda see that only one worthy to be my wife- as a pretty big deal. Archer Gil is the most ARROGANT Gil, and he thinks everyone is beneath him. So for him to say artoria is worthy?? That's huge.)

Ten Thoughts: I could see it but not very well, i guess it's just alright

2: Ozymandias x Nefertari (I WILL DIE ON THIS HILL)

3: Mozart x Salileri (DO PEOPLE EVEN SHIP THIS?!!?)

...this isn't enemies to lovers.

This is "you ruined my name with your death so I'm going to murder you" to STAB YOU'RE DEAD NOW DEAL

anyone who plays fgo and has salileri can confirm HE LITERALLY SAYS "mind if I commit murder and kill this one guy?"

Don't get me wrong I do love a good enemies to lovers dymamic, but there has to be a point where they're not wanting to kill each other and it can't be out of character. Hard I know. But this ain't it.

Ten thoughts: No. That is all.

(Plot twist: The look of despair on Salileri's face slowly morphs into one of twisted joy and amusement as the hands of Salileri tighten around the neck of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. It is far too short and yet goes on for almost an eternity. Yet Salileri never breaks eye contact, until his enemy goes limp in his hands. The famous composer lands in a heap, but already his spirit origin was returning to the Throne of Heroes.

That was okay. That just meant Salileri could keep killing him over and over again. )

4: Marie Antoinette x Charles-Henri Sansen (MY HEART-)

Ray of sunshine meets storm cloud.

another ship I will GO DOWN WITH.
Love them together, so much. They're so wholesome!

Ten Thoughts: I think this was the first ship i truely loved when i started the game

5: Cu Chulainn Alter x Medb (only a fool would challenge them oh wait-)

America still gives me nightmares.

I can say for sure they're a definite power couple. Part of me remains scared of them, and I'm not sure how I feel about it (Medb made cu alter the way she wanted him to be), but I can respect them. They could easily rule the world.

Ten thoughts: Despite Em's dislike of it I really love this ship (I'm also a Medb fan and she isn't so that probably adds to it) he was (quite literally) made for her

6: Enkidu x (archer) Gilgamesh (GAY FOR CLAYYYYYYY)

Rivals to friends to best friends to lovers amiright???

Anyways they're both...interesting. Each of them IS DEFINITELY PROTECTIVE of the other and they both have a similar attitude when it comes to a certain goddess. They have the same kind of energy and they have easily slipped into my top fgo ships bc like. There's no better option for them.

Ten thoughts: Gay fo Clay was the first FGO meme i ever saw and it's lived in my head rent free since that day, its amazing

7: Ozymandias x (archer) Gilgamesh (king of bros)

I wanna preface by saying that Ozymandias is a slightly nicer Gilgamesh cause with Gilgamesh it takes a long time for him to go from "your birthday? Should I care?" To "fool, you need to grant me a week's notice!" And Ozymandias just says "I don't concern myself with birthdays btw is there something you want?".

Anyway, I can see the appeal, they're great characters and my top two favorites for a reason. But I can't see them as anything but friends. The bromance is real, I won't deny.

Ten thoughts: I can't get behind a romance between them but the Bromance there is undeniable

8. Diarmuid x Artoria (first ship, much love)

First ship, honestly. Not even sure why I just. Greatly enjoy the dynamic within fate zero. I like the idea of rivals on the battlefield turning to allys plus like the way they helped each other deSPITE BEING ENEMIES?????
Diarmuid was like "I'm gonna be the one to fight artoria in a glorious battle to the death" so he helped her out
AND THAT ONE ARC WITH CASTER?????? Man that was great.
First ship so it'll be near and dear to my heart.

Ten thoughts: I never saw it in fate Zero tbh there was to much going on but i could see it if it weren't for their masters

9: Xiang Yu x Yu Mei-Ren

Ten's right I have no idea who these people are but it looks super sweet awww

Ten Thoughts: Em still hasn't gotten to the Lostbelts so she probably doesn't even know who they are but they are an adorable married couple and I love how devoted she is to him

10: Marie Antoinette x Jeanne de Arc (soft vibes club)

Gosh they're cute. I loved seeing them bond in Orleans and while it isn't my top pick for Marie it certainly is for Jeanne

Ten thoughts: This is good it's super wholesome and cute and they are adorable together.

11: Cu Chulainn (lancer) x EMIYA (barking dog meet chef mom)

Gosh they hate each other. And it's not like "LEMME STAB HIM" like salileri, no it's like they're always wanting to fight each other.

I don't know if I ship it or not I just love the idea of them fighting over just about anything even the mundane things (and more like they have competitions over everything).

Ten thoughts:  I find it absolutely hilarious and very wrong because I've watched Unilited Blade Works

12: Euryale x Asterios (my heart has stopped)

We have Euryale, a character who insists people worship her as a goddess, and Asterios (known as the Minotaur).
The dynamic fate gives us is one where asterios is devoted to Euryale and Euryale says things like "how can you protect me if you keep getting hurt?" And it's so sweet seeing how protective and devoted they are to each other. Easily among chaldea's more iconic ships bECAUSE HOW CAN YOU NOT LOVE THEM

Ten Thoughts: They were so cute together in Okeanos and them helping out in the Aean Spring Event was so funny, hes a giant guard dog and i love them both

13: Mordred x Jekyll and Hyde (jock and nerd!!!!)

I didn't really see this (I haven't yet gotten to watching fate apocrypha or stay night) coming, but it's got an energy that I can vibe with very much so.

Ten Thoughts: This is absolutely my favorite ship in the game I love them both as their own characters (Jekyll buff please lasagna) and them together and their dynamic is adorable and i love it

14: Mordred x Fran (quite nice)

I really just want to see fran and mordred attempting to garden that's it. Thanks. No romance, no strings, just Fran being protective of her flowers and Mordred trying (and failing) to be gentle with the plants.

Ten Thoughts: .. (he didn't comment so it's on standby at the least)

15: MHX x MHXA

I don't have either of these characters and my knowledge of them is limited but precious they are.

Ten Thoughts: They aren't much of an actual ship but they were actually roommates in space college and I love that and i love them they're some of my favorite characters

16: Achilles x Atalanta

Hey look two great Ancient Greek heroes!! Man I adored seeing them in the Sieg event. The way these two characters were written-I. Love them! Gonna get myself to watch apocrypha just for them-. Also I don't even care if they didn't cross paths in their myths

Ten Thoughts: Historical accuracy my foot I loved them in apocrypha proper and they were so cute together I just wish they got more screen time

17: Medb x Scatcach-Skadi

Interesting...? Not something I would think but like, it's not bad. Maybe. Idk.

Ten Thoughts: I'd rather Skadi over actuall scathach but theyre more like girlfriends than Girlfriends (if you know what i mean)

18: Jeanne de Arc Alter x Edmond Dantes (lIKE FIRE, HELLFIRE)

Okay so lately my favorite dynamic has been villainous duo who just wanna see the world burn. I didn't think of this as a ship until I saw the art for them and thought. What if?

Anyways 100% a better love story than twilight (what isn't) and it's the slytherin kind of romance I adore.

Ten thoughts: I love both Jalter and Dantes as characters but i just can't get behind this one

19: Cu Chulainn (lancer) x Diarmuid (lancer) (maybe you'll get lucky???)

These two. Honestly it'd be rather entertaining, and maybe their bad luck would cancel out together. But maybe they'd be better off as buddies. Idk.

Ten thoughts: I have never even seen these two interact let alone have a bases for a ship besides being the Lancers that artoria fought but go at it i guess

20: Arjuna x Karna

They are half-brothers. No.
