Rebecca's POV

The smell of coffee and cookies filled the house. I was sitting on the couch, drawing. Ever since Damian and Sariyah got together, my life has been hell because people started to hate on me. It was also hard to see them together.

"Beccs!"

I looked up to see Freddie jogging over to me with his guitar. Freddie had been over for a few days, trying to make me feel better. I smiled at him "Fred, I am busy-" He looked at me with a serious look. "Well I need to show you this new song I wrote. It is important." I sighed "But-"

Freddie looked at me with hopeful eyes and I nodded "Okay fine. You are lucky I love your songs." He smiled at me.

"So I have been trying to tell you something for awhile now but I didn't have the courage to say them to you." He said pulling his guitar into his lap. I looked at him confused, "So I wrote them down and made it into a song. I hope you like it."

He started playing a beautiful tone on his guitar.

My head swayed as I heard the lyrics. I was confused about them. Why did this song like a romance song?

I stopped swaying when I heard the next words out of his lips. Oh my god.

Freddie stopped playing, his eyes fixed on me. I frozen, not knowing what to say or what to do. His eyes were filled with hope. "Fred? What are you saying? " The blonde boy took my hands into his, his thumb brushed against my knuckles. Feelings and emotions from long ago came rushing in. Feelings I thought I had buried. "Rebecca, I have had feelings for you since we were kids but I couldn't say anything because I didn't know if you felt the same. Then you got with Sariyah and I had already hurt you before and I didn't get a chance but then you broke up. Look I understand you don't want to-"

I leaned forward and pressed my lips against his. My heart bursted into butterflies the moment they touched. Freddie was stunned at first but quickly recovered, he pulled me in closer and kissed me back softly.

I pulled away and looked in his eyes, he looked stuck in a daze. My smile quickly appeared "What took you so long?" I asked.
