Chapter: 7

Anya quickly adapted to life in Dwarka, her modern-day antics and playful spirit earning her the title "troublemaker Anya" from everyone in palace. Her days were a whirlwind of fun, pranks, and endearing mischief, much to the amusement and sometimes bewilderment of the palace inhabitants

Anya's day began with the usual challenge: getting her out of bed. The palace attendants, armed with the task of waking her, often found themselves engaged in a battle of wits and patience.

"Princess Anya," a maid would say softly, "it's time to rise."

Anya, buried in her blankets, would mumble, "Just five more minutes. I'm fighting a dragon in my dreams!"

Eventually, she would be coaxed out of bed, only to start her day with a fresh prank. One morning, she replaced the palace's morning flute melody with the sound of a rooster crowing, which she had somehow recorded.

The entire palace was jolted awake by the crowing sound. Vasudeva, Krishna's father, emerged, puzzled. "Is there a rooster causing a commotion in the palace?"

Anya peeked out from behind a curtain, struggling to contain her laughter. "Oh, that's just my new wake-up call. Thought it might add some rustic charm!"

At Afternoon Anya decided it was time for another prank. This time, she targeted the palace scribes. Using lemon juice as "invisible ink," she replaced their regular ink with her concoction.

When the scribes began writing, they soon realized the parchment was blank. One scribe exclaimed, "Am I going blind? The words have disappeared!"

Anya, hiding behind a pillar, giggled. "No, you just need special eyes to see them!"

Krishna, passing by, saw the commotion and smiled. "Invisible ink, Princess Anya? Clever!"

Anya grinned," Thank you! It's my little touch of magic."

Determined to showcase her culinary skills, Anya decided to make popcorn-a favorite snack from her world. Unfortunately, her attempts ended in disaster.

She set up a makeshift kitchen, excitedly popping corn kernels. But instead of the expected popcorn, the kernels exploded into a cloud of soot. Within minutes, Anya was covered in blackened ash, her once pristine clothes now looking like a disaster zone.

Balaram, witnessing the scene, came in with a stern look. "Anya, this is a kitchen, not a fireworks display!"

Anya, looking like a soot-covered ghost, tried to defend herself. "I swear, it was supposed to be a snack, not a smoke screen!"

Balaram shook his head. "I'm afraid you're banned from the kitchen, Anya. We'll have to find another way to entertain ourselves."

Anya, dusting herself off, replied cheerfully, "Alright, alright. I'll leave the cooking to the experts. But I'm still going to find ways to entertain you all!"

---

Determined to get back into the kitchen, Anya once again tried to bake a sweet dessert despite being banned in kitchen. However, in a comedic twist, she swapped sugar with salt. She presented the "treat" to Krishna's mother, Devaki, who took a bite and struggled to maintain a polite expression.

"Anya, this dessert is... unique," Devaki managed to say.

Anya laughed, "That's what I was going for! A touch of the unexpected!"

From that day on, the palace staff suggested Anya stick to her pranks rather than attempting to cook.

As the day turned to evening, Anya decided it was time for her next prank. She stealthily hid all the slippers from the palace guards, making it seem as though they had mysteriously disappeared.

When the guards searched in vain for their slippers, they grew increasingly puzzled. One guard finally exclaimed, "Where could all our slippers have gone?"

Anya, trying to contain her laughter, replied, "Maybe they've decided to take a little holiday. Shoes need their own adventures too!"

Later on she gave them their slippers

One evening, Anya decided to organize a grand event to showcase the talents of the palace staff. With great excitement, she announced the event and declared herself the judge. The palace buzzed with anticipation as everyone prepared their acts.

Balaram performed a stunning display of strength and agility, lifting heavy weights with ease and executing impressive feats. Anya, impressed, clapped enthusiastically. "Wow, Balaram! Your muscles are as impressive as my pranks!"

Next, the palace dancers presented a mesmerizing performance of traditional dance. Anya cheered them on, exclaiming, "I've never seen such graceful moves! You all make me want to join in-though I might just trip over my own feet!"

The palace musicians played melodious tunes on their ancient instruments. Anya, never missing a chance for humor, pretended to conduct them with exaggerated gestures. "Let's add a little modern flair, shall we? How about a spontaneous drum solo?"

Everyone laughed and enjoyed the lively atmosphere. The event ended with a feast, where Anya praised everyone's efforts and handed out whimsical prizes like "Best Hidden Talent" and "Most Enthusiastic Performance."

---

As Anya continued her antics, she found herself engaging in delightful conversations with Krishna's family. Balaram, though initially wary of her pranks, eventually warmed up to her antics.

"So, Dau Balaram," Anya asked one evening, "what's it like being the strongest in Dwarka? Do you have a special diet or secret training?"

Balaram grinned. "It's not just about strength. It's about discipline and dedication. And maybe a little bit of fun, if you can find it!"

Anya laughed. "I think I can add 'fun' to my list of talents!"

Subhadra, Krishna's sister, became Anya's close friend and partner-in-crime. They spent hours plotting new pranks and adventures. One day, Subhadra asked, "What's the strangest thing you've ever seen?"

Anya, with a mischievous glint in her eye, replied, "I once saw someone try to use a trampoline to catch a flying pig. Long story!"

Subhadra laughed. "You certainly have a talent for making things interesting."

Despite her high energy during the day, nights were different for Anya. As soon as the moon rose, she fell into a deep, peaceful sleep, her earlier mischief giving way to serene tranquility. She lay still, her face soft and calm, a stark contrast to her daytime antics.

Krishna, watching from outside her door, remarked to Rukmini, "It's amazing how someone so full of life during the day can be so serene at night."

Rukmini nodded. "She brings joy and laughter to all of us. And at night, she finds her peace."

As the night deepened, Anya's room remained quiet, with only the gentle sounds of the palace around her. The day's excitement had given way to a restful calm, ready to be recharged for the next day's adventures.
