"I love you" Its a group of words that people use a lot whether they mean it or not.

When you love someone, you feel it... in this case, Virgil- Well, Virgil had no idea if he really loved Patton or was capable of loving at all.

The two voices haunted him at night. .. The ones that told him
He's all you ever needed, he'll fix you.        and
How could he love you? Just look at you, you don't love him!

Fix. Virgil could use a fix... but his mind began to wander to the what if's

What if he's just faking it?-
But all his worry was washed away when Patton giggled and kissed him. "Stop worrying kiddo, I love you and I mean it!"

Virgil said nothing and just nodded, he was focused on not blushing at the moment.
They had spent the night together doing all sorts of things like watching movies, coloring, baking and more.

It wasn't until a month later that Roman had found out of their passionate love.
It went along the lines of this:

Patton and Virgil were asleep on the couch, cuddling of course when Roman walked in on the scene. About a half hour later, Patton woke with a groan and Roman sitting on the chair next to them, watching t.v. "Oh... Roman, I uh- I didn't think you'd be home!"

Roman said nothing and kept his focus on the t.v. "Sooo- I'm just gonna..." Patton got off of Virgil and tried to escape to the kitchen when Roman flatly said. "You and Virgil are dating?"

It may not've been apparent to Virgil, but it was to Patton that Roman had a huge crush on Virgil.
Patton has been trying to hide their relationship from Roman since the beginning but now...

Patton just nodded and awkwardly said: "Yup." He tried to slip away again when Roman turned to look at him and said: "Don't hurt him."

Patton blinked as he remembered those exact words... Those words were a commitment to him, Virgil, and Roman so what was Patton doing?

Hurting Virgil.
