Logan's pov
I stood there in shock. Did Virgil just tell Thomas to take anxiety pills?! He looked okay but I could tell something was wrong. I sank out glaring at Roman. I walked towards Virgil's door. I went to open it when Patton stopped me.

"I think he might want to be alone love." he chirped with a fake smile. I scoffed and rolled my eyes at the nickname. I didn't love him. He thought I did though. I played along knowing that I was in love with a certain Duke and if I refused then he would prevent me from seeing him.

I walked away but not before noticing something glint in Patton's back pocket. I brushed it off and walked into my room. I turned around after closing my door to find Remus sitting cross legged on the bed.

"Hey Logie." he said smiling. He pulled me towards the bed and cuddled me close. I sighed and snuggled into the embrace.
"What's wrong?" he asked quietly while playing with my hair.
"Thomas has started taking anxiety pills." I mumbled into his shoulder to hide my tears.

Remus, Janus and Virgil were the only people I actually showed emotion around. I didn't feel comfortable around Patton and Roman.

"What?! Surely Virgil isn't okay with this." he raised his voice slightly and then calmed down when I started to shake.
"V-virgil was the one w-who convinced him to take them." I muttered while silent tears cascaded down my face.
Remus was silent as I sobbed into his chest.

After I calmed down, he lay me down on the bed and kissed me sweetly.
"I'll see you tonight my love." he whispered in my ear after pulling away. I smiled and nodded. He walked out the room and I fell asleep.

Two months later.
It's been two months since I've seen Virgil and I'm starting to worry. He hasn't been out of his room since he told Thomas to take the pills. Whenever I go to check on him, Patton stops me and gives me some excuse.

I walked past his room and heard a loud crack. It sounded like a whip. That's when I heard vomiting. I knocked on the door.
"Virgil? Is everything okay in there?" I asked with panic rising in my voice.
"Stay in there you little b*tch." it wasn't Virgil's voice. It was low and menacing.

The door swung open to reveal Paranoia or Julian as Remus informed me. Before I could scream for Roman, he grabbed me and put a hand over my mouth. He dragged me into the room and threw me on the ground. I backed away as he locked the door.
"W-where is Virgil?!" I screamed as my back hit the edge of the bed.

He sighed as the closet door opened to reveal Virgil. He had black cracks running from the corners of his eyes to his chin and his hands and sleeves were covered in what looked like demon ichor. ((yes I am a shadow hunter fan)) I stared at him with tears welling in my eyes.

"Go to him if you please. I'm not letting you out anyway." Julian growled as he took on Patton's form, sinking out. I stood and ran over to Virgil. I pulled him onto my shoulders and brought him into the bathroom.

I placed him on the floor and he crawled over to the toilet and began throw up an inky black substance. He wiped his mouth and collapsed against the sink.

End

I cleaned him up and sat down on his bed with him.
"How long has it been?" he asked quietly as to not strain his voice.
"Two months." I answered tears pooling in my eyes as I pulled him into my arms.

"Virgil what is happening to you?" I asked while holding onto him as if he were about to fade then and there.
"I'm dying." he replied with a small smile. "If Thomas keeps taking the pills, I'll fade." he finished with more black tears rolling down his cheeks.

My grip on Virgil tightened. I couldn't lose him. My one friend. Was dying. I cried and held him in my arms. He drifted off to sleep. I lay him down watching his face occasionally contort in pain.

I walked over to the his desk and began to write a note.

I teleported the note into Roman's room and sat back down on the bed with Virgil.

Roman please do not attempt any reckless stunts and try to reconcile with Virgil.
Give Thomas this note to explain my absence.
I will be leaving immediately.
