CHAPTER 41

In the palace of Satrajit, he and his wife welcomed their daughter Satyabhama and son-in-law Shri Krishna, with great honour.

And just by looking at the face of her father, Satyabhama came to know that something was up. Thus she approached him once the two were alone.

"Pitashree, is something bothering you ?" Satyabhama asked.

"I'm fine, Putri." Satrajit said.

"Now you will not tell your worries to me also ?" Satyabhama asked.

"I cannot. You have your own world now, you have your own worries. I cannot bother you with mine." Satrajit said sadly.

"Oh. So you miss me ? Isn't it ?" Satyabhama guessed.

"You come to know of everything." Satrajit smiled at her.

"Of course I do. I am your daughter after all." Satyabhama smiled.

"I wish I could make you stay forever. This home of mine without you has become lifeless. But I can't, you have your own home now. I so wish I had one more daughter so the palace would've still been lively." Satrajit said.

"Pitashree, I cannot see you upset like this. I will talk with Nath, he will sure give you a solution." Satyabhama assured.

Saying this she left and went straight to her room where her husband Krishna was sitting on a couch and looking at a ring. It was not just any ordinary ring, it was the one Arjun sent to Rukmika. The ring that she always wore on her thumb.

"Nath ?" Satyabhama called sitting beside him.

"Yes dear ?" Krishna looked at her.

"Pitashree has become lonely. He feels that his home has become lifeless and apathetic. If you don't mind, can we stay here for some more time ?" Satyabhama asked.

"But dear, I cannot stay away from Dwarika for long." Krishna said purposefully.

"So can I stay a little longer ?" Satyabhama asked.

"If you will stay here then what about me ?" Krishna said again purposefully.

"Then what do we do ? If I had a sister then I wouldn't have been worried but Pitashree is feeling alone." Satyabhama said.

"I think it's time." Krishna said looking again at the ring.

Satyabhama too looked at it and then at Krishna.

"Nath, you mean it's time for her to return ?" Satyabhama asked.

"Yes. And you only had said dear, that you want a sister like her." Krishna smiled.

He got up and went to Raja Satrajit as Satyabhama followed him behind, with a wide smile on her face. They finally found the Yadav chieftain offering his prayers and gratitude to Suryadev as the Syamantak mani again gave him 170 pound (78 kg approx) of gold, just like everyday.

"Raja Satrajit ?" Krishna appraoched him.

"Dwarikadheesh ? You here ?" Satrajit asked.

"Satyabhama told me about your concerns." Krishna said.

"And as I assured you Pitashree, Nath has a solution." Satyabhama said.

"Really ? What is the solution ?" Satrajit asked.

"Raja Satrajit, the Syamantak mani gives you priceless wealth, thus it can also give you the wealth of a daughter." Krishna said.
