While Rukmi was crowned as the King of Vidarbh, the Pandavas had turned the barren Khandavprasth into the heaven on earth Indraprasth with the help of Krishna.

Everything was going perfectly there, the people were prosperous, the kingdom was flourishing, Draupadi was the best queen they could have even asked for.

But one thing was still left, and it was for Arjun to do. But he was uncertain now, because Rukmika was there in the swayamvar but left without even meeting or seeing him.

Sitting on the terrace and looking at her kangan he wondered whether she was upset at him for leaving her for long or was there another reason.

"Parth." Krishna came and sat beside him.

"Madhav ? You here ?" Arjun asked.

"I saw you hiding sadness behind your smile. So I thought, why not ask you ?" Krishna said.

"Madhav, you know everything already. Rukmika didn't even come to meet me in Panchal. Was she upset ? I wish to know...." Arjun said.

"How come you know she didn't try to meet you ?" Krishna asked.

"What do you mean ?" Arjun asked.

"Maybe circumstances forbid her from meeting you." Krishna said.

"Your words always give assurance Madhav. I think I shall go and ask for her hand in marriage from her elders." Arjun said.

"Rukmini would've loved if she would've gotten a chance to see Rukmika's wedding. But sadly Rukmi is not going to welcome us in Vidarbh. If only there was a way for Rukmini to witness the wedding, she would've done the whole preparation by herself." Krishna said.

Arjun didn't understand what Krishna meant by this, but one thing he knew that Dwarikadheesh wasn't the one who will randomly talk. The lord of all just chuckled gazing at his ancient and eternal twin.

"I'm leaving for Dwarika now. Some preparations I have to do." Krishna said.

"Oh. I'll come to see you off." Arjun said.

On the other side at Vidarbh, the now king Rukmi entered the room of Rukmika, where she was getting her hair done by Lata.

"I had told you not to enter my room." Rukmika said looking at him.

"Now I am the King. I can come and go wherever I please, whenever I please." Rukmi said.

"Oh yes. Maharaj Rukmi. How may I serve you ?" Rukmika mocked.

"By marrying Vishkaal. And remember that this is not the request of a brother Rukmika, it's the order of a King." Rukmi said and stomped away.

"Rajkumari what will you do now ?" Lata asked.

"The thing I didn't want to do. Bhrata has left me with no choice, he is adamant but so am I. If he doesn't let me marry Arjun then my marriage will take place without his blessings." Rukmika said.

From the drawer she took out a letter and gave it to Lata.

"Send this to Kuru-kumar Arjun." Rukmika said.
