"That Brahmin was Arjun !" Rukmi gritted his teeth.

Both the sisters stood up and looked at him with frown.

"Rukmika ! We are leaving now !" Rukmi said.

"No ! Not before I meet him !" Rukmika said taking a step back.

"I said we are leaving right now !" Rukmi said coming inside.

He grabbed the upper arm of Rukmika and was to pull her with him but Rukmini grabbed her other hand, stopping them both.

"Rukmini, let go of her hand." Rukmi said.

"No ! You listen to me Bhrata ! You are making a big mistake by forcing her to marry someone against her will. Didn't you get your lesson by my example ? Had I not requested my swami to spare your life for your insolence then you wouldn't have been here. Because of this behaviour you were about to lose your life ! Have you forgotten it ?" Rukmini said.

"I have not forgotten the humiliation you both put me through. Neither will I let you two forget it." Rukmi said.

"If you wish to take revenge then take it with your own might ! Your own strength that you boast about ! Don't drag her into this. Don't ruin her life. Let her be free." Rukmini said.

Rukmi glared at Rukmini but didn't say anything, neither did he understand anything with vengeance prevailing in his mind.

He pulled Rukmika away with him, as Rukmini looked at him upset and disappointed.

"Bhrata Rukmi ! Let me meet him once ! Just once !" Rukmika said.

Rukmi didn't respond, just angrily dragged her to the chariot.

"Bhrata at least let me see him !" Rukmika begged.

Rukmi angrily climbed the chariot and forcefully made Rukmika sit.

"Sarthi ! To Vidarbh !" Rukmi ordered.

The charioteer nodded and reigned the horses, moving the chariot. Rukmika looked at the heartless Rukmi, as tears rolled down her cheeks.

The entire way tears kept falling from his eyes. And once they reached their kingdom, Rukmika ran straight to her room closing the door shut. She fell on the bed and broke down into tears.

Bhishmaka who saw her enquired Rukmi about the reason for her tears but the Yuvraj of Vidarbh didn't give a straight answer.

"She will be fine soon Pita Maharaj. Now tell me when will my coronation take place ? You had said after returning from Swayamvar you will make me the king." Rukmi said.

"I know, son. I have talked with the Kulguru and he has chosen the next month's purnima to be the day of your coronation." Bhishmaka said.
