After Antok's heat cycle ended the weather started getting warmer. Since you oddly weren't pregnant yet you decided that you wanted to start a garden. You and Antok went to the Earth store at the space mall and found some vegetable seeds and bulbs and some starter plants for raspberries and blackberries. So today you both were planting a garden. So far you both had tilled the soil and planted the berries and some of the seeds.

Antok used his tail to make tiny holes in the ground for you to put the seeds in. After you put one seed in each hole you carefully covered them up with a little dirt. Since it had recently rained the dirt was a little moist. As you both finished up planting everything you made sure that all the holes were covered up good enough.

"This 'gardening' is quite relaxing." Antok said as he brushed the dirt off of the tip of his tail.

"Yeah, it is. And I can't wait for everything to start growing." You said enthusiastically.

Antok smiled as he looked down at you. He loved it when you were happy. You both went inside your house and washed your hands off. You couldn't wait for everything to start growing.

As the weeks passed and it rained every few days you would go outside to check on your garden to see if anything was coming up yet. At first, you were disappointed when you didn't see anything. But one day while you and Antok were out pulling weeds you noticed a few tiny plants coming up and your berry bushes were starting to grow leaves.

"Antok, our garden is growing!" You said happily.

"It appears so." Antok said as he knelt down next to you so that he could get a better look. 

"I can't wait for everything to start producing." You said as you continued to pick weeds.

Antok smiled at you, finding your happiness cute. He helped you pick the weeds that had stronger and deeper roots. Since it rained every few days the dirt stayed moist enough for everything to keep growing.
