Lately Alnov and Asher had been standing up while leaning against the furniture or the walls. Sometimes Antok would let them hold onto his tail so that they could learn how to walk. However, neither of them had learned how to walk on their own yet. But you both knew that was soon to change.

"Are you positive she's going to walk on her own?" Antok asked you as you sat on the living room floor with your arms stretched out.

"Yes, I'm sure." You said, rolling your eyes before turning your attention to your daughter. 

Alvov looked at you, and then looked at the floor. You encouraged her to at least try. Alnov looked at you as she slowly let go of the end table. She took a few wobbly steps before she fell into your arms.

"See, I told you that she could do it." You said as you stood up with Alnov in your arms.

"So she did. And she did a very good job." Antok purred happily.

One evening while you and Antok were making dinner together Alnov and Asher were playing nearby with a few toys. Asher's stomach grumbled and he wanted food. He decided to crawl into the kitchen to see if dinner was ready. When he was only a few feet away from Antok he decided to do something that he had never done before. Slowly, Asher figured out how to stand up all on his own.

His tail helped him balance. Asher slowly took a few wobbly steps towards Antok's right leg. When Antok felt someone hug his lower left leg he looked down and saw Asher.

"Y/n, Asher has taken his first steps." Antok told you.

"He did? That's great." You said happily, looking down at Asher.

"Food?" Asher asked you curiously.

"Yes, dinner will be ready soon." You cooed before turning your attention back to the thing you were mixing.
