An argument
Lately Antok and the other Blades had been going out on a lot of missions; (Y/n) knew that they (Y/n) smiled to herself before she went back to eating the food she was given, she enjoyed talking to Viva whenever she had the opportunity because the other woman was fun to talk to; she couldn't pronounce the name of the planet Viva came from, but her bold Scottish-like accent was nice to listen to, it was almost like having another human on board even though she knew Viva wasn't human. Obviously (Y/n) wasn't friends with everyone, apparently she somehow rubbed some of the other women the wrong way or they saw her as inferior and would undoubtedly kill her if given the chance. A few stray tears escaped (Y/n's) eyes while she ate, being held captive wasn't a life she wanted and by that point all she could do was hope
someone out there would come to rescue her and the others who were held against their will. During the journey to Kerberos she'd had so many expectations even though she and her crew were only collecting ice samples to look for alien life, none of them were expecting to literally be abducted by aliens. Eventually someone would come to rescue her, but for the time being
(Y/n) was stuck eating food goo and drinking questionable water while sitting in a barren prison cell.
The Blades were helping the paladins put a stop to the galra empire but she really missed him. Shortly after her period ended everyone started acting strange and it concerned her, Ilun was the one who told her that everyone's strange behavior had to do with her fertile window and she ended up spending the rest of the week locked in her habsuite because she didn't want nearly everyone getting off from her scent. By the time she eventually came out Antok was gone on another mission, thankfully he came back a day later so they could hang out together. Sometimes some of the other operatives wouldn't come back from missions and when Antok returned she noticed
that someone was missing; she knew that sometimes some of them had been killed and she was worried about Antok getting killed. One day while she was walking around the base she saw Antok heading to where the ships were kept, a sign that he wasn't going on yet another mission; she was well aware that he and a few of the other operatives were partnered with the paladins who were going to attempt to kill Zarkon, but other than that she didn't know any other details.
"Another mission?" (Y/n) inquired after they both stopped walking, a curious expression appearing on her face.
"Yes. This is to be one of our most important missions, if everything goes as planned then Zarkon will be gone." Antok answered as he looked down at her, his tail flicking behind him a
few times.
"But what if you get hurt? Or worse?"
(Y/n) asked him nervously; she realized that what the Blades and the paladins were doing was risky, she really hoped that everyone would make it out
alive.
"Then I die. It is better than letting the Empire conquer more of the universe." Antok replied with a slightly annoyed tone, knowing very well that humans could be weird about war.
"But I don't want you to die." (Y/n) responded meekly, hoping that he would be careful while he
was gone.
"Sometimes sacrifices must be made." Antok spoke coldly in hopes that (Y/n) would understand that sometimes good people had to die during war, all for the greater good.
"But the operatives who didn't make it back could have saved the planets without sacrificing themselves, and I'm sure that the attack on Central Command can be done without anyone
sacrificing themselves." (Y/n) argued; she started getting a little angry at the large man because to her appeared that he didn't care that some of the others had been killed during their missions,
she just didn't understand the logic of what were essentially suicide missions.
"No self sacrifice is unnecessary!" Antok growled angrily before storming off in the direction he'd previously been heading in, he didn't have time to stay and argue with the young woman
because the paladins needed his and Kolivan's help.
(Y/n) was a little shocked by Antok's sudden outburst; no, she was very shocked by his outburst; she'd never seen him so angry before. She knew that she probably overreacted just a
a little bit, but she couldn't help it because she didn't see the logic in sending people to their deaths. (Y/n) decided to apologize to Antok when he came back, assuming that something bad didn't happen to him. Meanwhile, Antok went to the ship he and Kolivan were taking to the castle of lions; he didn't have the time to think about what (Y/n) said, all that mattered was
working with the paladins to take down the galra empire. Kolivan could tell that something was on his friend's mind, although he wasn't going to bother asking him about it; until they returned (Y/n) would be waiting for them.
"Be safe out there." (Y/n) said from deep within the large base, wishing Antok and Kolivan good luck without directly talking to them.
Living with a secret organization wasn't always the easiest thing and she had to remind herself that she had to respect their ways, even if she didn't agree with some of those ways. (Y/n) continued her walk before making her way back to her habsuite, there was no point of worrying herself to death about Antok and Kolivan returning in one piece; they'd been doing their thing long before she met them, they were more than capable of helping the paladins with something so important. She decided to grab a snack from her kitchen before going to relax in her living room to pass some time, she would go eat dinner with everyone else in the cafeteria later. Ulaz was the one who would stay in contact with Kolivan and Antok which meant he would remain in Kolivan's office, Yemi would be the one making sure that he had food and something to drink. Until she received an update on how things were going (Y/n) would simply stick to her usual daily schedule.
