(Y/n) had been living at the Marmoran headquarters for a couple of weeks and so far she had been adjusting fairly well. She quickly learned how to tell time on a galran clock and she knew when breakfast, lunch and dinner were served, although sometimes she preferred eating either breakfast or lunch in her habsuite when she wasn't in the mood to socialize. (Y/n) had also met most of the operatives and she even became friends with one or two of them. Sometimes she would go watch them in the training room since it was one of the areas Kolivan gave her permission to be as long as the trials weren't taking place. Antok, of course, would occasionally talk to her, but only if she greeted him first; he didn't hate her and he always let her sit with him in the cafeteria, it's just that he was usually the strong silent type.

During that particular moment (Y/n) was just taking a walk around the base after she'd finished putting the dishes away in the main kitchen. Every so often she would look out one of the windows and see part of one of the black holes that kept the base hidden, she could still hardly believe that she was living in a secret base located between two black holes. (Y/n) often wondered if she would ever see her crew again or if they were even still alive, she hoped to see them again someday. Shiro, Matt and Sam would have been excited to actually get to see a real life alien base located in between two very deadly black holes, she wished that she could somehow contact them. The one thing (Y/n) didn't know was that Shiro knew about the base, she wasn't even aware of who the paladins of Voltron were, although she would soon.

"(Y/n), wait up!" Regris called out as he caught up with the petite woman when he found her; Keith was coming for a visit and he knew that she might like to see another human, or rather half human.

"What's up?" (Y/n) asked Regris with curiosity when she stopped walking and turned around, looking up at him since he was taller than her.

"Keith is coming soon and-" Regris began to say before he got cut off, he honestly wasn't expecting (Y/n) to already personally know Keith.

"Keith? As in the one from the Garrison? As in Shiro's honorary younger brother?" (Y/n) questioned in disbelief when her heart began to race within her chest, she could hardly believe that Keith was in space, let alone visiting the base.

"Yes, at least I believe we're talking about the same Keith. He'll be arriving soon." Regris answered to the best of his ability, wondering if they were talking about the same person or not.

(Y/n) felt confused as to how Keith could have gotten so far into space, assuming that Regris was talking about Keith Kogane who Shiro took under his wing a couple of years prior. When Regris gestured for her to follow him, she did; (Y/n) had so many questions as to how Keith got so far from Earth and how he even knew about the Blade of Marmora. She hadn't seen Keith in ages and she hoped that he was doing well, he'd been there when the Kerberos launched into space and before her crew learned about aliens existing. (Y/n) also hoped that Keith had seen Matt, Shiro and Sam since she thought they were still missing. While she walked with Regris she briefly wondered where Antok was, she hadn't seen him since breakfast and she wondered what exactly he did during the day.
