The next morning, the ex-villains rode a stolen steam engine train near the Vistula River to reach the capital city of Poland.

"More steam!" Claw Noir commanded. Shadybug shoveled in more coal into the boiler.

"It's getting steamy already!" Shadybug made a pun.

"Good. That will give us more time to reach the city capital" Claw Noir plays with his dagger, thinking about the times he would put bad guys out of misery. He kept this dagger to remind himself of surviving on his own without having his one life stolen the same way his mother's life was stolen by nature.

"Was it necessary to leave Kagami behind?" Shadybug asked.

"She does things her way. She'll be fine. Besides, she's free to do her own thing" Claw Noir said, knowing how much she's been learning about emotions being a weakness when in reality, it makes her oblivious to the world.

"Pity, she could have joined us," Shadybug said.

"Yup. But she needs to lead her own life now. So do the others to find their own freedom without interference" Claw Noir said, staring at the river.

"Right," Shadybug replied.

"Here we are" Claw Noir pulled the throttle for the train to stop.

"Choo choo!" Shadybug pulls the whistle, "I always wanted to do that" She chuckled.

"Like a child? Funny" Claw Noir chuckled.

"Yeah, like Thomas the tank engine" Shadybug got off the train.

"Yup. Anyways, this train has been abandoned for years. I'm surprised it still works" Claw Noir said.

"Yeah, it was fun driving it," Shadybug said.

"Maybe it should be the Cat Express" Claw Noir joked.

"ShadyClaw Express" Shadybug corrected him.

"Well, it would look good in red and black" Claw Noir said.

"Mmhmm. Here we are in Poland. What do you know about this country?" Shadybug asked while walking with him.

"Not very much" Claw Noir replied.

"We can't live in a hotel. I have a feeling the Supreme will send out more assassins to find us as the real us" Shadybug said.

"Any ideas then?" Claw Noir asked.

"We'll stay here at the mills with the train," Shadybug said.

"Yup. I hate these assassins. For so long we've been blinded by our suffering that he was manipulating us that using our powers would have slowly destroyed us" Claw Noir said before putting the dagger away in his jacket.

"It's time for him to go," Shadybug said, she closed her eyes and a pink flash appeared over her. Her red eyes become blue and her black hair gets blue tones with red streaks on her bands and regular pigtails.

"What the hell?" Claw Noir saw and he crawled on all fours like a cat to examine her new look.

"What happened to me?" She looks at herself.

"Your costume. It's less black-ful. What did you do?" Claw Noir asked.

"Must be the good side taking over after sensing our guilt for our actions and our newfound love. Now how about a new name like Scarabella or just Ladybug?" Shadybug wondered.

"Ladybug because you have 90% red on you. Unless you want to go with Cockroach?" Claw Noir purred deadly.

"And live a week without a head? Hell no!" Shadybug scoffed.

"So Ladybug it is," Claw Noir said.

"But you haven't changed yet," Ladybug noticed.

"Because I still feel feral and wild, not a friendly cat with softness like a kitten. I'm still in darkness" Claw Noir sighed that he couldn't get out of his dark side yet.

"Oh well, Kitty" Ladybug scratched his chin.

"And I still hiss and scratch like a wild cat at enemies" Claw Noir purred.

"Hehehe.... yeah" Ladybug chuckled.

Night fell and they sure needed to head to the city to find something to eat and a nightclub to find to blend in with criminals.

"Okay. I better act like a criminal to blend in" Ladybug said.

"Very un-ladylike of you" Claw Noir chuckled.

"You know you find me creepy when I'm angry," Ladybug said.

"I never become a scaredy cat. My claws are like my friends to save my ass" Claw Noir purred before sneaking into the closed food store to find something to eat. He cataclysm the door open and goes inside.

"You could've checked if the door was open" Ladybug rolled her eyes.

"You know they lock them" Claw Noir searches the store and grabs a package of milk.

His cat tendencies always get the better of him. He then goes to the fish section.

Unsafe to eat them when it's not cooked, "Well it's better than nothing" Claw grabs the salmon.

"Why did you adapt to being feral like a cat?" Ladybug asked and grabbed a cranberry juice bottle.

"Because it allows me to do things humans can't do," Claw Noir said.

"You're an animal" Ladybug belched rudely.

"Yes I am" Claw Noir chuckled.

"You'll lose your behavior of a man. You came a long way from a kitten to a panther" Ladybug tossed the empty bottle aside.

"Odd I didn't become Panther Noir" Claw Noir said.

"Panthers and black cats are related" Ladybug grabs a chips bag, "Especially how you always pose like a cat"

"Shh! I hear something" Claw Noir's cat ears flicked like he hears quiet noises a person cannot hear. Almost as if there's more than one person here at a time.

Ladybug looked around but saw nobody. Claw Noir crawls on all fours, hearing tiny footsteps. Smelling something like cheese like a mouse would enjoy.

"Someone's cheesy here" Claw Noir keeps crawling.

"It's been a long time, Shadybug and Claw Noir," The squeaky voice said.

"Polyrat!" Claw Noir recognized it.

Multiple clones of Polyrats appeared everywhere as the size of mice.

"Meow, so delicious to eat mice. Yet you call yourself a rat. I hate rats" Claw Noir going crazy to chase them, "MEOW! MEOW!" He lunges at each copy.

"For god's sake!" Ladybug growled in frustration and decided to help her kitty out.

"Mice always get eaten by a lot of predators. Like this cat! Stop running and let me eat you all!" Claw Noir had no intention to eat them but he likes to intimidate.

"Ohhhh.... I'm so scared!" The copies said mockingly.

"You should be once I have one of you in my mouth!" Claw Noir catches one and puts her in his mouth to prevent her from regrouping. Without one of them, she can't put all her clones back together.

"LET ME OUT!!!" Polyrat clone screamed.

"Hmph!" The feline refused and kept his mouth shut, ignoring the punches in his mouth.

"The hell are you doing?!" Ladybug asked, shoving the clones off.

"Waiting for her to surrender" Claw Noir spoke through his teeth closed.

"URGH! It reeks in here!" Polyrat clone screamed.

"Mmhmm" Claw Noir chuckled to keep his mouth shut until she surrendered.

"I give up! Let me out before I suffocate!!!" Polyrat clone tried to bang on his teeth.

"Hmmm......" Claw Noir pretends to think, knowing it's just too easy.

The clones all jumped at him but he was too strong as he shoved them all off or got stabbed by his claws due to their small size like a mouse. Especially like the times, he would easily kill an actual rat.

"Please! I can't breathe!" Polyrat clone screamed inside his mouth.

"Spit her out!" Ladybug demanded.

The feline groans in frustration and spits her out on the floor, covered in saliva, "I could've swallowed her and she would slowly die in my digestion" He chuckled with dark humor.

"Yuck!" Polyrat clone groaned and the rest of the clones re-grouped back to her normal human size.

"Long time no squeak, Polyrat. Enjoyed being in my mouth? I love a good mouse snack. Cats eat mice" Claw Noir cackled.

"No, it was gross!" Polyrat glared.

"Don't bother fighting. We know the Supreme is abusing all of you because of us" Ladybug said.

"Shadybug, you look different," Polyrat noticed her new look.

"I'm Ladybug now. A better lady than a poisonous bug" Ladybug said.

"But I'm still just the dangerous cat with claws rather than soft paws," Claw Noir said.

"Hand over the miraculous. You want freedom, right?" Ladybug asked.

"Of course I want freedom! It's the Supreme that wants both of you! He is obsessed with destroying you both for betraying him! You put all of us to misery because of you!" Polyrat blaming them.

"We're not to blame here!" Claw Noir warned with his claws.

"Calm down, kitty! Calm down" Ladybug puts his hands down.

"Cats eat mice, bug. It's in my nature whenever I see one become my prey" Claw Noir growled angrily.

Polyrat got nervous by his feral behavior, "Okay, enough!" Polyrat removes her miraculous.

"Myléne" Ladybug saw her civilian self.

"Hmph, lucky guess" Claw Noir snatched the miraculous, "Sorry Myléne, finder's keepers" He put it in his jacket.

"Rest assure, Myléne. We will get back to Paris and take down the Supreme once and for all, ending his regime of tyranny" Ladybug said.

"Right now, you need to get the hell out of here" Claw Noir suggested.

"Gladly. Away from your big open mouth!" Mylene glared and ran out of the store in disgust.

"Why do you have to be so intimidating to everyone?" Ladybug glared.

"To put any threat into submission" Claw Noir replied.

"I hope you find your paws are not brutal like your claws one of these days" Ladybug rolled her eyes before putting the mouse miraculous in her yo-yo.

"We'll see," Claw Noir said, trying to get used to his girlfriend's new alter ego.
