Tonight was the wonderful masquerade ball and the ex-villains were already in their themed attire with the masks. It was like the 19th century the masquerade style to celebrate and remember here in the 21st century of today.

"Shall we, Milady?" Adrien offered his hand to Marinette like a gentleman. They both raise their hands up as Marinette nods.

"Yes, my prince" She whispered as they slowly waltzed in a circle with one hand up each. She slowly stretched out while holding Adrien's hand and got back with him holding her waist.

"Meow" Adrien meowed while holding his cat mask.

Marinette gently took her mask off and shared a kiss with him before he dipped her.

"What does it feel like being a princess with her prince?" He pulls her back up.

"Like a fairytale with a beginning but no ending," Marinette said.

"Well who knows, as soon as the prince slays the dragon," Adrien said and went sideways with her dancing and circling around again.

"That is if he can find justice for it," Marinette said.

"Neither of us knows" Adrien dips her again.

"Because we always do vengeance far too much than Justice" Marinette held his neck.

"Well, we now serve justice" Adrien held her close.

"There's a difference between victory and justice, kitty" Marinette held her mask.

"I know" Adrien held his up too.

"Yet we still have a lot of prices to pay, especially the affliction we suffered from has now disappeared when we became adults," Marinette said, remembering that she tried to cover them up with makeup.

"Yeah, I know. But the other holders suffered them too" Adrien said.

"They are adults now too, kitty. They are our old classmates" Marinette was dipped again.

"It's too late to make amends with Nino and Alya," Adrien said.

"Yeah. But they aren't the holders because the Supreme only chooses those who had a miserable life" Marinette gets pulled up.

"Of course, Princess" Adrien said.

Twirled her making her lean her back against him, "Why did we go our separate ways years ago?" Marinette asked.

"You know, to go try to start our lives anew separately and to ensure the Supreme won't find us," Adrien said.

"And here we are reunited," Marinette said and gasped a little from the gentle bite on her neck.

"Mine forever" Adrien whispered.

"The hell are you doing?" Marinette groaned.

"Marking you as mine," Adrien said.

"Ah! Well, it seems you're impatient to mark me again" Marinette moaned quietly.

"Because you're mine in my next nine lives" Adrien slowly dances with her.

"Yeah, as your Ladybug," Marinette said.

Adrien removed her mask from her hand, "That is if you can be a true lady"

"Of course, Kitty" Marinette said.

"Meow, even if a lady has to come out of the shadows more often" Adrien dipped her again.

"To embrace the light" Marinette held around his neck.

"You're the master of creation. I'm the master of destruction" Adrien pulled her up, "We both have been cursed as teenagers and who knows what changes will come for our adulthood"

"We'll see. We are the Yin and Yang" Adrien said.

"And you always like saying cat puns too much," Marinette said.

"Well, bugs barely have any" Adrien joked.

"You always think you'll rip anyone's tongue out when all I can say to bad boys is they swallow a bug" Marinette smirked.

"Yeah," Adrien smirked back.

"Again, you always do that stupid Cheshire smirk. It's ridiculous" Marinette said.

"Yeah, I know" Adrien replied.

His instincts are telling him he sees Supreme Assassins glancing at them, "Assassins, 12 o'clock" He takes her hand and quietly escorts her out to not draw that much attention.

"We better get ready, Kitty" Marinette ran to find a hiding spot.

"They sure like to bring our past back to haunt us," Adrien said before they were alone.

"Give me a break! I was gonna barf with all that lovey-dovey romance!" Plagg said.

"Plagg, we got to transform!" Adrien hides in the men's restroom.

"If you live with nine lives, you owe me another Camembert," Plagg said.

"No time to argue. Plagg, daggers out!" Adrien transformed.

He took his staff out, ready to face them. As much as he hates killing again, he cannot let the past haunt him again.

"Alright! Let's go!" He rushes to find them.

Shadybug came out and had dual guns in her hands.

"Like old times, bug! Whoa!" Claw Noir twirled his staff from the incoming daggers, "Damn it!"

"Cover me!" Shadybug fired at the assassins.

"On it!" Claw Noir ran at the assassins, clawing them one by one to disarm them.

Shadybug does another lucky charm of a boomerang with blades, "HYAAAH!" She threw it at the assassins, decapitating them.

Claw Noir was pushed against the wall, "Agh! You seriously know you'll all die for nothing and with no honor!"

"This is for betraying the Supreme!" The assassin drew his knife and slashed at his chest.

"AGH!!!" Claw Noir pretends to be hurt.

"Time to die, pussy cat!" The assassin then tries to stab him.

Claw Noir grabs his wrist and does the twirl body spin move on the assassin.

"Nine lives, dumbass! I'm a cat!" He stabbed him in the chest to kill him.

He pulls back seeing the blood on his hand. He still wants his claws on Supreme's dead heart but never like this.

"Bugaboo! Need a hand?" He saw her fight several assassins.

"More like a paw would be nice!" Shadybug struggled to push the Buffy assassin, "Like now!"

"Right! CATACLYSM!" He touched one pillar to make it fall on the assassin.

Shadybug moved aside in time just as the pillar fell on him. But then tackled her kitty down from the assassin trying to shoot daggers. Ending up on top of him which she hates a lot.

"We gotta stop doing that" She got up.

"Better to save my ass than get killed!" Claw Noir threw his nunchucks with claw blades on each end at the assassins.

"Ah yeah!" Shadybug throws her boomerang.

She cut loose the crystal lamps from the ceiling, "Look out!" The assassins shouted. But they landed on top of them.

"Ooh, lights out for you!" Claw Noir cackled.

"Hell yes, Kitty" Shadybug chuckled.

"I still got my dark humor again," Claw Noir said before pulling her down with him from almost getting stabbed by incoming daggers, "I told you that cats have nine lives to save"

Shadybug calls on her lucky charm pistol again to shoot three assassins, "Now we are even, fleabag. Get your ass up before I have to lie on top of you again"

"Very well Bugaboo!" Claw Noir rushed up to finish the remaining assassins, "Meow, I may not be like any other woman in catsuits but I am an attractive man like a model" He made his staff split in two like a nun chucks.

"The hell is this?!" They asked.

"My own tricks up my sleeves!" Claw Noir attacks them.

He knocks them down to the floor and slashes his claws at the last one's eyes, blinding him.

"Agh! My fucking eyes!" One of them screamed.

"Serves you right! AAAGH!" Claw Noir hardly had time to react when one managed to stab him in the thigh.

"HEY!!! MY CAT HAS CATACLYSM BLOOD!" Shadybug shot the assassin.

"Right on time," Claw Noir said.

"You're welcome. Let me fix you. Miraculous Shadybug!" She tossed her guns and repaired the building and his wound.

"Thanks. Shit, that fucking hurt like hell a moment ago" Claw Noir groaned.

"You're welcome, Kitty," She said.

"Nine lives again," Claw Noir said.

"Whatever" Shadybug took his hand, "If you keep getting your ass killed again, you're gonna lose a lot of lives"

"I better use them well" Claw Noir replied.

"And they all say dogs go to heaven while cats go to hell. Your cousin who is now the dog holder, he sure likes to think dogs chase cats as a sport" Shadybug said before checking if the coast was clear.

"Speaking of which, he's nicknamed the Hound of Baskervilles" Claw Noir said.

"And now goes by Hellhound. No wonder you two never get along but you still care about him when he still treats you like shit day and night" Shadybug said.

"Because I'm the oldest cousin in our family. He helped me escape from the Supreme and he chose to side with him" Claw Noir said.

(Flashback)

The dog and the cat were forced to fight each other or die. The Supreme would always test their strengths to see who would be the best but Claw Noir refused to let his master kill his cousin. Claw Noir was proven stronger, faster, and less weak against Hellhound who was trying way too hard to prove himself.

"Well done Claw Noir. Now finish him off!" The Supreme ordered him.

"No! He's my cousin and he's part of the family!" Claw Noir helped the puppy up.

"Finish him!" The supreme ordered.

"CATACLYSM!!!" Claw Noir activates his cataclysm, "That's enough, master. If he dies, I die too! Let him live or you die! Make your choice before I do the hard way of evil than you!" His cataclysm sphere grew in his hand.

"If you're not with me, then you're against me!" The Supreme stood up.

"My cousin lives and he's my only cousin in the family. You kill him! I kill your entire guardian I come across to one day take your place!" Claw Noir comes closer to the Supreme's miracle box with his cataclysm, "Or I can destroy the miracle box along with your immortality that you'll become dust. Let him live or I destroy this!"

"Stop! Fine, the mutt lives!" The Supreme knew that if the miracle box was destroyed, it would destroy him.

"Just what I thought," Claw Noir said.

"Do anything and I won't hesitate to kill all of you! You trained me as a killer" Claw Noir takes Hellhound away from training.

"And destroyed our spirits!" Hellhound agreed.

"Shut up" Claw Noir shushed him.

"Fine sorry," Hellhound said.

"I saved your life you know. You're the only relative I can talk to other than that cockroach" Claw Noir said.

"Yeah, thanks," Hellhound said.

(End of Flashback)

"Yeah, I protected him more, even if he hates how I'm always saving his life but he did a favor to help me escape," Claw Noir said.

"Incredible," Shadybug said.

"Neither of us wants to kill each other because we are still family. I'm not sure how much he's brainwashed for years" Claw Noir said.

"It's been long since we saw him," Shadybug said.
