Only ever in dreams

unscathed I remain

and when the sky turns to gray,

a reflection of me

covered with stain

is all I see

a latibule for the damaged ones

is all I seek

holy water for the dirty hands

the night seems bleak.

I find peace,

but inside this hollow space

lies a soul lost in disgrace.
