I walked in front leading the way to the teachers lounge. In the teacher lounge, it have a vending machine, a refrigerator, cable and a lot of other cool stuff. We sat on the couch as I look at the sheet of questions, it only had five questions which I was relieved to know because I didn't have to talk to him that much.

"Okay question one, it says what do you plan on being in ten years? In ten years I will be twenty-six and I plan to be a nurse or at least something in the medical field. In a serious relationship not married tho, maybe a kid. What about you?"

"In ten years ima be making money." I looked up from the paper and raised a eyebrow.

"Okay, doing what though?"

"Whatever God has in plan for me." I wanted to ask what that meant but decided not to.

"Okay, it asks what do you think of your partner." I looked at him. "To be honest with you, I have a strong dislike towards you. You use females then toss em, you have no respect for females and you're rude as hell."

"And what makes you think I like yo ass? You just a stuck up broad who's too dependent on her father and plays nice with an annoying ass voice." He looked into my eyes, I quickly looked away not wanting to make eye contact with him.

"I don't play anything." I said standing up.

"Is princess mad?" He said standing up which caused him to tower over me.

"I'm not going to argue with you, it's childish and pointless. Can you answer the rest of the questions so I can get away from you? "

"Admit something your scared of."

"Clowns." I said walking towards the vending machine, he started laughing. "Haha no. What bout you?"

"Nothing." I looked at him in disbelief.

"You have to be scared of something."

"Okay, trust." I was confused.

"Trust?"

"Yeah trust gets you killed."

"But don't you trust your friends?"

"I don't have friends, those niggas my brothers but to be honest I don't have 100 percent trust anyone, trusting the wrong people can and will get you killed."

"It makes sense. Next question share something personal."

"I don't have a mother." He said after a minute or so.

"Me either." I admitted, he looked up as if he wasn't expecting that. "After my mother had Allison she had postpartum depression. My father was on his way home from work so it was only me, Alli and Isaac. We were in the living room watching t.v when we heard a gunshot go off. Isaac being the protective brother he is, he took us into a room and called the police and told us not to leave the room. My mother committed suicide. " I finished as I had my head down.

"Sorry." He said.

"It's okay, but um what happened to your mother? If it's too personal then you don't have to say it."

"Uh my mother was well- is a crackhead. She still living I just don't care for her." He said looking as if he really didn't. "Last question, share a secret"

"I don't think K want to do that one."

"It's just a secret, I dont give a fuck enough to spread that shit shawty."

"Okay uhh, I'm sometimes jealous of my little sister." I admitted as he looked at me weirdly. "I know but she's everything. She got the nicer body, way prettier and her face is spotless. I'm pretty I know I am but yeah. I've never told nobody that so I guess it's a secret."

"You beautiful Alyssa." Jayceon said looking me in my eyes, I didn't know whether he was trying to be funny or not so I just avoided eye contact.

"If you didn't act how you did, I promise you every nigga in here would be in line. You shouldn't compare yourself to nobody cause you honestly beautiful as hell."

"Thank you," I said smiling finally looking at him as my heart damn near beated out my chest.

"I once tried to help my mother get off drugs." He suddenly said putting his head down folding his hands in his lap.

"What?"

"That's my secret."

"Just one time? Did it go well?"

"I gave her money to put her in rehab she took the money and got high with it, so I never gave her money again." He bitterly laughed shaking his head. "Only my dumb ass would give a crack head money expecting them to get help."

"Sorry, I don't really know what to say but you aren't dumb for wanting your mom to get better Jayceon."

"It's whateva, but we got like two minutes until the bell ring so we should go back down."

"Yeah." I said walking towards the door. Once we was by the class I stopped making Jayceon crash into me.

"What the fuck?"

"Shhh!" I said, pointing in the direction Allison and Jayden was walking in. She was leaning in to kiss him, as I grew confused. Then it clicked of course that's why she was always defending him, they went together.

"You didn't know about your little sister and my little brother?" Jayceon asked taking me out my thoughts.

"I guess she kept it a secret." I said going the other way to get to class, it was quiet as we walked back to Ms.Noel class.

When I got in, Olivia was still sitting where I left her with Mason sitting next to her. They looked like they were having a deep conversation and she was on the verge of crying. I was about to walk over to her until Kailani and Iyan walked in laughing but her smile quickly dropped once she noticed Olivia. All of us was just looking at them while they didn't even notice us. When the bell rung Olivia ran out the class leaving all of her books, she didn't even glance our way. Mason ran his hand down his face then looked at us looking at him.

"What did you do to her?" Kailani asked as he walked towards us. "When will you get tired of hurting her you dick?" She said grabbing her and Olivia bag. I was standing there confused, I needed answers.

"What did you do?" I asked.

"Man we was talking then some words was said and she couldn't handle the truth." Mason said like he honestly didn't care.

"Oh you told her the truth? After taking her virginity and breaking up with her now you decide to be truthful?" I did a dry chuckle.

"Man I-" Before he could finish his sentence I slapped him. My cousin didn't know when to put her foot down and stop letting this one nigga run over her and it pissed me off.

"Oh I'm sorry, I couldn't handle the truth either." I said getting my books off my desk. Iyan and Jayceon was standing in front of Mason as if he was going to hit me. He wasn't stupid enough, Kai pulled my hand and we walked out.

I put my books in my locker then headed towards the cafeteria where Allison, Olivia and Kailani was already sitting.

"Where were you?" Allison asked

"I was taking care of business, are you okay?"

"Yeah I'll be aight, just had a moment of weakness." She said looking past me, I turned around noticing what she was looking at.

"Why is Mason looking at you like that?" Olivia asked.

"Cause she smacked the shit out of him." Kai added. Allison looked at me with wide eyes.

"You what?!?! You smacked a NOL?"

"You saying that like he somebody, they all average." Kai scoffed.

"Yeah, he's a ass hole and I really wish you could see that you need to leave him alone." I looked at Olivia then Allison. "Allison is there something you wanna tell me?"

"No I don't think so, is there?" She looked confused.

"Mm so you wasn't going to tell me you go with one of them?" She started choking on her soda looking guilty.

"A what? It's not Mason is it, right?" Olivia looked her way.

"Bitch no." Allison quickly said.

"No it's Jayden." I answered.

"How did you find out? Who told you?" Allison asked.

"No the question is why didn't you tell me? Since when do we keep secrets from each other?"

"Cause I know how much y'all hate them, I knew y'all wouldn't approve so we kept it a secret."

"How long y'all been dating?" Kailani asked.

"Four months." This time I glared at her.

"You kept this a secret for four months?! God Alli, are you even a virgin anymore?"

"Yes I'm still a virgin, when we planned on doing that I was going to tell you but since you know it just saved me a lot of trouble. We're not even planning on having sex yet, I've been trying to tell y'all he's not like the rest of them."

Kailani, Olivia and I looked around the table all thinking the same thing but who was we to rain on her parade. If she believed he was different then he could prove us wrong.

"Okay but before you have sex please please please come to one of us." Allison nodded her head and said she promised as we continued eating lunch.
