The next morning I got up exhausted, for the first time ever I was thankful that we had to wear uniforms so I didn't have to waste no time picking out an outfit. Once I got out the shower I put on a dark purple polo shirt and black joggers. I decided to wear my all black Jordan retros 8 with a black nike hoodie then walked out to the kitchen after I took my flexi rods out.

Since me and Allison usually catch rides with Issac for school he already left and I was pissed at first until I remembered that I had a new car. I said bye to my father then me and Alli left to pick up Kailani. Olivia already had a car so she would just meet us there. Once we got in the car Kailani greedy ass wanted McDonald's for breakfast so I had to hurry before the warning bell rung. Once we got in the junior parking lot I tried to hurry and park so I wouldn't be late.

"You in his spot ma," I heard once I stepped out of my car.

"Who spot?" I asked looking in the direction the voice came from.

"JC!" Of course JC had an parking spot to his self. I rolled my eyes and got back in my car.

"Your seriously about to move your car so that asshole could park right here?" Kailani asked.

"Yeah, I don't want no problems this morning. I don't got time!" I said backing up, trying to find another park. Once found I heard the warning bell ring. Oh fucking great!

I tried to run and get to my locker before the second bell could ring. Once I made it to my locker I instantly became relieved, I hurried and got my books out my locker and walked towards first period.

It was seventh period and It was time for English and I was always happy for this class. Kailani, Olivia and I all took this class together, which sometimes was a good and bad thing.

Allison is a two years younger than me so she's a freshmen, so that makes me a junior. We only had a couple of weeks until school was over and I couldn't of been more happy, I loved school but I was definitely not a morning person.

"Everyone take your seats! So as you all know the end of the year is approaching." The students started cheering. "Settle down, settle down! You all know we have to have a final but instead of giving you a test, we're going to do a project."

"How many of you know her?" Ms.Noel asked pointing at Olivia as most of us raised our hands. "Now how many of you know him?" She pointed to a boy that never talks to people, only a few raised their hands. "Do you see a problem here? What's the difference between the two?"

"Olivia talks, Charles doesn't." A boy named Takeem shouted making a few laugh.

"Part of the reason but with this project I want you to step out of your comfort zones. I want all of the girls to write their name on a sheet of paper, fold it then put it in this jar. Boys you're going to pick a girl name out the jar and that will be your partner."

After the girls put their names in the jar, the jar was passed around. Once the jar was back to Ms.Noel she asked for the boys to say the names they got out loud.

"Mason?"

"Olivia." I looked at Olivia and she looked like she wanted to beat Mason to death.

"Interesting. Iyan?"

"Kailani." He said with a smirk on his face. Kailani smile dropped from off her face as she looked in my direction, what was I suppose to do?

"And Jayceon?"

"Alyssa." My heart dropped, of course it had to be me paired with Jayceon. He didn't even look my direction but a few girls looked my way wishing they were me, I would gladly give him up.

Jayceon also known as JC was nothing but trouble as were Jayden, Mason and Iyan. They were in a gang called NOL and they didn't talk to anyone but their selves along with the girls they used everyday. Kailani, Olivia and I hated them because of the way they were, they were the biggest fuckboys ever. Jayden was the youngest of the group along with Allison so they shared a lot of classes together and she always said Jayden wasn't like them but we never cared enough to take her word on it.

"You can not switch partners, you and your partner have to stick with each other until the end of the year and at the end of the year I would ask questions on how well you got to know your partner and depending on how you got to know your partner will determine your grade and if you fail this project, I will be seeing your lovely face in summer school." She said with a smile.

I turned to look at Jayceon but he was already looking so I quickly turned not trying to hold eye contact for too long, it's bad enough I had to get to know him. Right before I was about to speak to Kailani who looked like she wanted to beat Ms.Noel to death, Ms.Noel spoke.

"We have thirty minutes left so for the remaining of class I printed out a questionnaire you have to ask your partner and get all the answers before the bell rung. You may leave the class if you want but you can not leave the campus and you have to be back before the bell rings for lunch. You're dismissed."

Kailani and I walked to Olivia desk who had her head down. Olivia was one of the reasons we hate them, she used to "date" Mason for two months until she had sex with him and he dumped her. She was heartbroken for months until that sadness became anger. She hated everything about Mason, the way he breathe, talk, dress, walk, anything. She never talked to him again and never had no intentions to.

"Are you okay babe?" I asked squatting by her desk.

"You know how much I hate him Wysa!" She said with her head still on her desk.

"I know but didn't you date for almost two months? You learned stuff about him so therefore you wouldn't have to spend much time with him." I suggested trying to make her feel better, she looked up with a smirk like I gave her the best idea.

"Oh God! What did-" Kailani started to say until she saw Iyan, Mason and Jayceon walk our way. We stopped talking and I stood up waiting for one of them to speak.

"I need to ask you these questions so y'all done or nah?" Iyan asked facing Kailani.

"Yeah." She said rolling her eyes. They walked out the class leaving just me, Olivia, Jayceon and Mason.

"Uh, do you have some where you wanna go or you want me to pick?" I asked. He shrugged, I rolled my eyes and was about to walk when Olivia grabbed my wrist.

"You can't leave me with this!" She said making sure he heard the disgust in her voice.

"Liv I can't do the project with this if that around, I'm sorry babes but we only have around 15 minutes you can take it."

"This? That? I'm standing right here the fuck?" Mason said.

"Okay well have fun, I'll be back before the bell ring." I said then walked out the room looking back to make sure Jayceon was walking behind me.
