There's a video on YouTube called "Three Things About Islam That Prove the Quran False", posted by a user named Jesus or Muhammad. This buddy has a whole channel dedicated to anti-Islamic material. Sadly for him, all of his claims are too easily refutable.

On Google Images, I found an image of a part from one of his videos. It said:

"1. God preserved for us the Torah and Gospel that are in the Bible.

Or 2. Allah preserved them and failed to preserve His Islamic version of these scriptures."

(For people who don't know, Muslims such as myself call God Allah. Allah is the name of God in the monotheistic religion of Islam.)

Short answer: Number 2, but Mr. Jesus-Or-Muhammad phrased that wrong. Allah didn't fail to preserve them. He preserved them when it was necessary, when people followed them. But those books were temporary. The Quran, the final book revealed by Allah, is meant to be followed for the rest of eternity, so that is what's preserved right now, at this moment. You can sort of say that the older monotheistic religions "expired," and that Islam is the updated version.

Long answer: In Islam, we believe that many books and scriptures were revealed to many, but not all, prophets. The four most well-known ones are the Taurat (Torah), which was revealed to Musa (Moses), Zabur (Psalms), which was revealed to Dawud (David), Injeel (Bible), which was revealed to Isa (Jesus), and the Quran, which was revealed to Muhammad, last and final prophet of Islam (peace and blessings be upon them all). We believe that once upon a time, the Torah, Psalms, and Bible were pure revelations from Allah, but that humans have corrupted them.

You can see nowadays that there are many different versions of the Bible, etc, but not one definitive version. We believe that Allah sent those books for the people of that time to follow till the next prophet came with another book but the same message of Tauheed (Oneness of God). Usually, when one or few prophets were sent down, with or without books, people would come. They'd listen to and follow those prophets. But after some time, Shaitan (Satan) whispered to them and lead them astray, tainting their hearts with the musings of worshipping idols and statues and pictures of saints (pious people), prophets too (like Isa, or Jesus) - what was once respect for a saint or prophet had turned into full-on worship with offerings and prayer as well. That's why Allah kept sending down prophets, one after the other - out of His Unlimited mercy, because of His love for us and because He wanted us to follow the right path.

It was stated in the Torah and Bible that there was going to be a man named Ahmad who would come and complete the prophecy. It referred to Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him. (Ahmad, as well as Mahmood, is a variant of the name Muhammad.)

Quran, 61:6 --> "And [mention] when Jesus, the son of Mary, said, "O children of Israel, indeed I am the messenger of Allah to you confirming what came before me of the Torah and bringing good tidings of a messenger to come after me, whose name is Ahmad." But when he came to them with clear evidences, they said, "This is obvious magic." "

All the other holy books were corrupted by man because they were temporary. But the last book revealed, the Holy Quran, was meant to be a source of guidance for the rest of humanity. Allah promised to protect the Quran and preserve it.

Quran 15:9 --> "Indeed, it is We who sent down the Qur'an and indeed, We will be its guardian."

Quran 85:21-22 --> "But this is an honored Qur'an, [Inscribed] in a Preserved Slate."

1400 years ago, the Quran was revealed. And to this day, not a single word has been changed.

(Shout-out to my beloved Mus-haf (my Quran) for being readily available for me to open and close and flip through its pages. Yahfadhuka Allah (Allah preserve you) :') )
