i. Initial Encounter
"Tell us, tell us everything you know." Tsukauchi demanded, slamming his palms on the table. The girl who sat across from him was chained in every way possible to her chair, with wrist, ankle, and even torso restraints.
"I'm not telling you shit." The [h/c] haired girl spat. "You may have me and All For One, but Shiggy, he's still out there. And he'll take you all down." The dark tone of her voice isn't one that should be leaving the lips of a young girls such as herself.
"If you won't tell me about All For One or the League, tell me about yourself. How did a young girl like you get involved in the League?" Tsukauchi partially changed the subject, both in attempt to get her to talk about something and out of curiosity. This girl's so young... She's about the same age as a first year student.
"I said it before, and I'll say it again. I'm not telling you shit."
The detective stood up and left the room without saying another word, leaving the girl confined to her chair and alone in the room.
After making a couple of calls, Tsukauchi found himself at UA, talking to All Might, Eraserhead, Principal Nezu, and Midnight.
"Her name, her name is [F/n] [L/n], and she was one we managed to capture alongside All For One. From what we've gathered, she wasn't there during the Training Camp Incident, but she was involved." Tsukauchi began, letting out a sigh.
"And she won't give up any information at all?" Nezu inquired, taking a sip of his tea.
"No, nothing. She just says I'm not telling you shit. That's it and that's all." He answered, running his fingers through his hair.
"She was already there when I arrived to fight All For One, but she wasn't there with the League when we went to the first location." All Might added on, pondering for a moment.
"Is it possible she was with All For One, so she came with him?" Midnight offered, crossing her arms over her chest.
"I hate suggesting it, but we could ask Bakugou when she showed up and if he ever saw or heard her say anything." Eraserhead suggested, shoving his hands in his pockets.
"We shouldn't get him involved if we don't have to." Nezu replied, taking another sip of his tea.
"While I would love to agree, the girl, [L/n], she doesn't seem very cooperative. If we're going to learn anything, we need to take every opportunity in stride, and that includes asking Bakugou." Aizawa partly argued.
"Eraserhead's right. I was the fourth person they brought in to try and talk to her." Tsukauchi brought up, agreeing with Aizawa.
"It's such a shame." Midnight began, "She's so young. How does a girl that age get involved so deeply? Especially if she was with All For One himself."
"Do you know what her Quirk is? She never fought anyone, or seemed to exert her Quirk at any point. She didn't even try to capture Bakugou with the rest of the League, she stood back and watched All For One." All Might interjected, looking towards the detective.
"That's another reason I came here. Her Quirk, it's called Blizzard. I'm not sure why she didn't use it during the fight, but it's a good thing she didn't. It's a combination of ice and snow."
"We need to bring Bakugou into this." Aizawa stated sternly. "Regardless as to how any of you feel about him or this situation, what we need is someone who can give us answers. And while Bakugou may not be able to give us much, he can do something better."
"What are you getting at, Eraserhead?" All Might asked, his voice laced with concern.
"Bakugou, when he started here, he was a villain himself. His anger issues were through the roof and the way he treated Midoriya was horrible. He still has anger issues and he and Midoriya may not get along, but with Kirishima and the rest of my students, he's gotten better. I'm not saying that the two of them are on equal terms of villainy or that it may even work, after all, Bakugou has always wanted to be a hero, he looks down on villains. But at least he can understand the piece of shit mindset."
"I haven't heard you talk that much in a long time, Eraser." Midnight joked slightly, the male rolling his eyes.
"If that's what you believe is best, Eraserhead, then I'm all for it." Nezu agreed, finishing off his tea. "Tsukauchi, we'll call him down here, but first, All Might, call the rest of the teachers and explain the situation. Bakugou may be out for a couple of days if he agrees to this."
All Might stood up swiftly and began to call each of the teachers that Bakugou had, one by one.
Minutes later, Bakugou sat at the elongated table with the rest of his teachers, having no idea why he was here. He was in the middle of eating his lunch when they called him down.
"Young Bakugou, we have a mission for you, but we'll only give it to you if you feel comfortable taking it on." All Might spoke, his eyes locked on Bakugou.
"Hah? That's why you called me here? Why are so many of you involved in this?" Bakugou retorted, raising an eyebrow and leaning back slightly in his chair.
"Because this mission isn't about beating up a villain."
"Hah?"
"It's about saving one."
"HAH!?"
"The girl, [L/n], she was there when everything went down in Kamino Ward. Do you remember her saying anything? When she showed up?" Tsukauchi asked, having out his small notebook with a pen in his hand.
Bakugou was quiet for a minute. [L/n]? I'm assuming it's that chic who had the piercing eyes.
"The girl with the eyes, right?" Bakugou asked, crossing his arms as he needed to confirm.
"The eyes?" Tsukauchi questioned, both himself and the rest of the teachers mildly confused.
"Yeah, she had these piercing [e/c] eyes. I never spoke to her or anything, but she looked at me as I was defending myself against those good-for-nothing shit-faced villains." Bakugou tsked. "I don't have any info on her, other than she's a piece of shit. She was there during the big battle, with the biggest villain and the biggest hero, and while I was in the process of possibly getting kidnapped again, and that bitch had the audacity to just stand there and watch the whole thing. She didn't even help her own side in my second attempted kidnapping." Bakugou was pissed off.
"I want you to try and talk to her. We've all, myself, Nezu, Midnight, All Might, and Eraserhead, came to the conclusion that you should talk to her." Tsukauchi informed.
"And if you agree to this, Kirishima will be informed of the situation and we'll have him make sure to keep you up to date with everything. Not everyone needs to know about this." Aizawa added on.
"Like hell she's gonna listen to me! She's just some shitty villain!" Bakugou barked.
"Yes, but she's also very young, Young Bakugou, the same age as you. For all we know, she could've just lost her way... And no heroes were around to help." All Might informed, very low-key trying to convince the blonde.
"I'll talk to her, damnit. Just don't expect anything." Bakugou finally agreed.
All the teachers looked at one another before looking to Tsukauchi, who nodded.
"I'll have him back by tonight. Depending on how it goes, he'll either never have to go back, or this may go on."
"Be careful, Young Bakugou." All Might smiled, placing a hand on the boys shoulder as everyone was now standing up and getting ready to go back to their classrooms now that Lunch Rush was over.
"Yeah, yeah. Whatever." Bakugou rolled his eyes as nearly everyone left the room, everyone except himself, Tsukauchi, and Eraserhead.
"Kirishima would be the wisest choice for this. Agreed?" Aizawa asked, though he already knew the answer.
"Shitty Hair's the only one I'd trust not to tell every damn person." Bakugou huffed.
Aizawa, too, left the room after that.
"Come on, Bakugou." Tsukauchi then lead the way outside the school building and then into his cop car. From there, the two went down to the station, and Bakugou's mind was flooded with annoyance and curiosity.
Walking into the station, Bakugou was taken slightly off guard as Tsukauchi began to lead him downstairs into the stations basement. After a bit of walking, he now stood in front of a one-way window. One where he could see in, but those inside, couldn't see out.
Sure enough, there she was. The girl with the piercing [e/c] eyes, entirely restrained.
"We have her restrained like that due to her Quirk." Tsukauchi informed, noticing the slightly puzzled look on Bakugou's face.
"Great, another thing about her that just pisses me off. Not only was she there for the whole damn thing and didn't even fight for her own side, she has a strong Quirk- and didn't even lift a finger!" Bakugou practically roared.
"You don't have to do this, Bakugou." Tsukauchi reminded, but the boy wasn't quite listening.
"Open the door, I'm going in."
Tsukauchi didn't say anything as he input the door code and watched as Bakugou walked in. The moment the boy had made it all the way through the door, it shut and locked behind him.
"Oh, why hello there, Bakugou." [L/n] stated, lifting her head up from the table.
"Don't talk to me like you fucking know me." Sitting down in the seat across from her, the boy didn't say anything as he took the sight of her in.
"Okay, okay, okay. No need to get your boxers in a twist." She rolled her eyes. "Shouldn't you be at school or something? Unless you've reconsidered the offer Shiggy gave you. If so, coming to the person who's in lockup wasn't your smartest idea."
"Shiggy?" Bakugou seemed repulsed. "No, that's not why I'm here. I'm here to get you to talk, so talk."
"Ha! Those dumb bastards really thought sending in a student would get me to talk!? Pfft!" [L/n] was laughing so hard that tears were escaping her eyes.
"You're so annoying!" Bakugou roared. "The sooner you talk, the sooner we never have to see each other again."
"Now who said I never wanted to see you again, hm?"
"Why didn't you fight? I know you have a Quirk, and you were there. Yet you didn't lift a finger in fighting anyone." The ash blonde was just trying to get it all over with, he didn't want to have to spend more time here than he absolutely needed to.
"It wasn't my job to fight." [L/n] answered plainly. "I was to stand back and observe."
"That sounds stupid." Bakugou interjected. "If you fought, you all may have kidnapped me again, or All Might could've lost. Yet you stood there?"
"Like I said, Bakubitch, my job was to stand back and observe."
"The hell'd you just call me!?" Standing up, he slammed his palms on the table, his face right in front of hers. His eyes locked on her piercing [e/c]'s.
"Bakubitch. Sorry, I thought that was your name." The girl smirked, causing Bakugou's blood to boil.
"Tsukauchi!" Bakugou called out, the mentioned males voice then playing through the speakerphones.
"Yes, Bakugou?"
"Unrestrain her." Bakugou's tone was firm, his eyes not leaving the girls across from him.
"Ooo, are you wanting to fight, little boy?~" The [h/c] haired girl was enjoying her time with Bakugou, she found him to be a rather interesting case.
"I'm sorry, Bakugou, but we can't do that." Tsukauchi'e voice informed over the intercom.
"I can't believe I'm actually asking, but can I punch this little shit?" Sparks were already beginning to go off in his palms.
"I'm afraid you can't do that either, Bakugou. You need to restrain yourself." Tsukauchi's voice answered.
"Tch. I'm done here." Shoving his hands in his pockets, Bakugou turned around and went to the door, being let out seconds later.
Tsukauchi expected the boy to keep walking, to not say a word.
"I'll be back tomorrow."
