Storm's POV

We finally got home and I crashed on the couch, Maxus stared at me and sat on the couch next to my feet, "How's your eye?" I asked, Maxus slowly moved his head towards me, he slowly shoke his head with a face saying -what the hell you think- and moved his head back and looked down, I thought about how he's dealing with the pain, as I stretched my body on the couch, "Can you talk" I said, Maxus slowly replied, "Yes" I didn't know what to do, I decided to draw I headed upstairs and grabbed a pencil and paper, I didn't know what to draw, I told 'Mom' that I was going to head out, I grabbed my claw and went out, I ran up a tree and shot into the trees pulling me towards the top, I landed and saw a line of trees heading towards the park, "Lets test my inner Assassin's Creed skills" I said aloud as I jumped down, jumping branch to branch on other trees, I kept going, "Wow this is EASY!" I thought, jumping to another branch, I missed by an inch, I tried grabbing the branch, but I grabbed thin air, I was falling, I knew the worst was my neck gets detached from the socket, since I was flipping around forwards, it was in slow motion, it felt as though gravity went at the same speed, this was the end, "Cushion!" Said a voice, then as I was about to hit the ground I stopped for a moment then went back into the air, about 4 feet then fell on my butt, I saw a face peek out of the tree, "Pete?" I said, as he went back behind the tree, "Uhh, yes?" Pete said nervously as I went to the tree he was at, "Why are you here?" I asked, "Uhh I was.. collecting.. Leaves! I love leaves they are pretty" Pete stammered, I glared at him, I walked closer to him, he then cowered down into a ball, "Don't hurt me!" He yelled, "What.. no, I wouldn't slap you, you just saved me" I said, "Really? Even if Blake said to follow someone else? For some odd reason he said you, it's a funny story really" Pete said, "Wait you followed me? How long have you been following me?" I quickly asked, "Uhhh, about.." Pete looked at the Orb, closing his eyes then spun about a few degrees, "8 hours" Pete replied, smiling like a child, "Wait that's... Since the beginning of school till now, where was I before home?" I asked, "X-centre you met the Oracle the princess of Angels, in the "John" shall I say" Pete replied, "What the fuck Pete" I yelled, he went into a ball, "Please, don't yell, I don't like yelling, especially directed to me" he whimpered, "Sorry" I said offering a hand, Pete flinched at first, but toke it, I helped him up, "Thank you" I said, "No problem" Pete said, leaning against a tree, after a few seconds he fell, "Ow" he said normally, and got back up, "Why do you fall a lot?" I asked, "Well it's like my, I like to call it "Magic Karma" my special spells are Crash spells, they reverse impacts and reflect them the opposite direction, depending on the spell is how much is Reflected, as a result every time I use a spell I fall after a while, but I'm used to it" Pete explained, I dazed off imaging diagrams, and Pete in a suit and tie in front of a class, I shaked the ideas from my head, "Uhh why are you shaking your head?" Pete asked, I blushed slightly, "No reason" I said, "Where where we're you headed?" Pete asked, "You know you were there" I said, "Uhh you were.. oh" Pete concluded, I laughed a bit as he blushed in embarrassment, I walked to the park and saw a big tree, I sat down as I pulled out my sketch book and pencil, I drawed the hill and began the stump of it, the pencil lead broke, "Fuck" I complained, "Forgot to bring a sharpener" I said, putting the things back angrily, "Well Karma's sometimes an ass" Pete said, I felt sorry for him since he been with me for 8 hours and I didn't even offer him a cup of tea, Pete was leaving, "Wait!" I said, Pete flinched but quickly turned around, he walked towards me, "What?" He asked, "I want you to be my partner" I said, "It's least I can do since you saved me" I continued, Pete thought for a moment, "Alright" Pete said, he suddenly hugged me, I almost fell back, "Thank you friend" he cried, he released the hug then ran off, "See you tomorrow" He said, disappearing from my view, I ran back to the house and went inside, I saw Maxus looking normal, he saw me, "What were you doing" he said, he sounded better and talked normally again, "Oh, nothing" I said, Maxus intensely stared at me, "If I didn't have this patch you would be scared as fuck" Maxus said, pointing to the eye patch, I ignored him and made myself some dinner, just simple macaroni and cheese, I poured some in a bowl and went to watch tv, there was nothing I liked on but this old black and white show, that was decently funny, I didn't watch it, I just left it in the background, there was occasional canned laughter, Maxus entered the room, holding his eye patch, "Why are watching this? We don't have homework" Maxus asked, "There's nothing else to watch" I explained, he sat down and watched, "Why were you late?" I asked, Maxus looked at me for a second, "You probably got home before me" Maxus said, "No, you did something there tell me" I said, "I talked with Arthur ok" Maxus said, "So your saying that when we go back to school, and I ask Arthur we're you talking to Maxus after school he'll say yes?" I said, Maxus groaned, "Ok you win, Akial asked if we could practice in the Arena I thought it was no big deal, but in the end he cast a spell called 'Dark Mirror' and made a dark clone of myself, I also heard Akial say 'Step 1 complete' so I don't know what he's planing" he explained, I was shocked, but the serious look on his face (even if he does it while lieing) means he's telling the truth, "If it happened to Maxus what happen to the others, and who will be next" I thought eating my dinner vigorously, "Are you alright?" 'Mom' asked as she came in, with the same dinner as me, "Oh nothing it's just Maxus told me something" I said nudging Maxus, "Uh yeah, I was practicing in the Arena and then the person I was practicing with cast a spell which made a clone of myself but made of darkness, oh yeah I named it Maximus too" Maxus said, his Mom looked at her dinner, "Alright" she said walking out of the room, that was odd. Why was he fine, I looked at him clutching his eye patch, "Oh" I realized, the medication probably makes him vomit getting rid of the Venom, "Maxus can I talk to you for a sec" I asked, "Uhh, Ok?" He replied, following me to the living room, "What is it?" He asked, I leaned myself towards his ear, "You can't tell any one this alright?" I whispered, so inaudible Maxus could barely hear it, "O..k" he said slowly, "While you were in surgery I met the princess Angel herself, Oracle" I whispered, Maxus widened his eyes a bit, "Ow" he said, backing up. I flinched and fell backwards on the floor, "Ow" I tried to hold back, "I'm not supposed to widen my eye" Maxus said helping me up, I swept off the dust that may have gotten on my sweater and pants, I looked at him, "Remember don't-"

"Yeah, I know I know, don't tell anyone" Maxus interrupted me, I got slightly annoyed, I sat down and pondered, "Why is she here anyway? There's no major crisis and there's no major event unless, oh.." I realized "This is very bad, very very bad" I said, running upstairs, I told Maxus what I realized, he tried not to widen his eyes, "I think you're right" he replied, we both knew this was going to be history if it happens.
