Storm's POV

It was a cloudless morning the sky a grim purple, I like the sky it always looks evil, the Orb (Monster-made equivalent of the Sun) it's light casting opal, white light, as if the sky's eye. I was at my friend Scale's house she is Reptillian unlike me, a Vampire, we were playing with 0-blocks which float in midair if a button on it is pushed, "And our floating castle is complete" Scale said, "What know?" Scale continued, "hmmm" I said, at the time we were only in your minds "Kids". "I don't know" I replied, we sat in a blanket of silence, "This is weird" Scale said breaking the silence, "Yes, quite weird" I replied, knowing she's just stating the obvious, at that moment Scale's parents came and her mother said, "Come on, Scale", "Ok I'm coming" Scale replied, smiling with her crocodile-like teeth, I always found them intimidating, she then left, "Mom.. when's dinner?" I asked, walking into the kitchen, she wasn't there, "Hello?" I said louder, "Dad?" I said louder, "Anybody?!" I continued, looking frantically in my home for anyone, suddenly I saw one room, my parents room, barricaded with multiple heavy objects, I ran outside and yelled, "Someone help!!" A female vampire came and saw me and said, "What is it child" she had a band on her wrist, a Morpher in Vampire form, "There's a barricade and I can't move it, can you help?" I asked, while walking her to the barricade, she then changed into a Werewolf and moved the barricade (Werewolves have great strength), "Stay here" the woman said, she walked in and about 2 minutes later, She came back and lead me to outside, "Your parents are not here, stay with me for the night" she said finally, I nodded in response and walked to her house, "I have a son about your age, you might like him" she said, changing the subject, "How old is he?" I asked, "He's about... 2 years older than you" she replied, "Great, a older boy that I don't know, I like being an only vampire" I thought bitterly, "That's swell" I replied, as we reached the steps, we walked in it looked nice, "Mom? Is that you" said a voice of a boy, "Yes, it's me I have a guest" she said, walking me to a room with flashes of light coming out of it, we walked in and saw a Morpher in Vampire form, playing a game on a Tri-vision

(Bold is Maxus' Explaining or Opinion) "Televisions" were replaced with a station with 3 screens call a Tri-Vision

"Who's she" he said confused, eyes still on the Tri-vision,"She is a guest who will stay with us for a while" the woman replied, "Ughhh, I hate girls here, they talk too much" he complained. He turned off the game, "I'm going to my room, see you later" he continued, heading upstairs, "Maxus! Get down here now" she yells, The boy (Maxus) stopped and came down, "What now?" Maxus said, grumbling, "I got to go somewhere you have to watch.." she said pausing, since she didn't know my name, "Storm" I said, finishing, Maxus grumbled, "Fine.. just don't bother me ok Storm" he said, firing up his games, the woman left, "Ok here is how you play.." Maxus said, as I zoned out, ignoring him, "Ugh, I hate this it's the least I need right now, a brother and games," I thought angrily, "..You playing or not" Maxus finished, "Not" I said, "Fine your missing out" he replied, annoyed, "Is there a guest room where I could sleep?" I asked, "Upstairs, 1st door to the right" He answered. I headed up the stairs and went in the door he said to take and saw a bed, "I'll take a nap" I thought, "This alot to adjust to" I continued thinking, drifting into a deep slumber.
