"What the hell...?!" You growled in disbelief.

You looked at yourself in complete frustration. The one and only Heavenly Demon who was renowned in all of Murim..reverted to a child?!

For someone who was held in such high regard, you felt humiliated.

Clenching your fists, you turned to the purple skinned female in front of you, said woman flinching as you glared at her with quite the angry expression.

"What sorcery have you played on me, witch? Reverse this, immediately!" You ordered in a furious tone.

"I-I didn't do anything! I'm really sorry that this happened to you, but I swear I didn't make you like this!" She assured nervously.

"Hmm.." You listened carefully to her words.

After training your mind and spirit along with your body, you were able tell when someone has good or evil intentions in their heart just from listening to them.

"I sense no malice in your heart as you speak..very well. I, the Heavenly Demon, apologize for accusing you of sorcery."

"Ahaha.." She chuckled, rubbing the back of your head. "No worries! I'm sure you're just confused..!"

Going from threatening to respectful..she sure thought you were an interesting person. She couldn't really hold it against you that you were mad, as she realized you had been summoned to a different world without any warning.

"Though, I must ask you..are you the one responsible for sending me to this new world?" You questioned.

She nodded slowly.

"Yes..and for that, I'm sorry. I was in danger and without thinking, I tried out a new spell that I had never done before..it's my fault that you were whisked away to a new place you've never been before." She admitted.

"If you're angry with me, I underhand.."

"Hmm.." You gazed at the woman, but with no fury in your eyes.

"I appreciate your honesty. I can tell that you are a good soul, as long as you show no hostility to me, I shall treat you favorably." You assured.

She blinked, but then her lips curled into a warm smile.

"You really have good words for a kid, you know that?" She asked.

You narrowed your eyes at her for that comment, having Twilight realized her mistake.

"A-Ah! Right, right. I'm sorry! It's just.."

You cut her off with a sigh.

"No worries, I am undeniably what you see in front of you at the moment..besides, you have reminded me of this troublesome circumstance."

You looked at your palm, which was quite smaller than you were previously.

"I can feel it..my strength is weaker in this form. It is harder to gather up internal energy. What could be the reason for this..?" You wondered.

"Well.." Twilight chimed. "After seeing you do all those flashy moves..maybe you used up a lot of that "internal energy" you're talking about?"

"But I only used the first half of the Heaven Shattering Techniques. How could.." You stopped, starting to figure something out.

"Perhaps..this world does not hold the concept of Ki? Yes, I can feel it..the internal energy here is much more dense, thus making me require more power and sealing my strength!"

"I think I have an idea of what you just said..maybe the reason you're in this form because your normal body holds too much power to be used in this world..?" She asked.

You nodded, also smirking a little at the fact you were being praised. The Heavenly Demon was likes being rightfully acknowledge.

"Yes, that must be it..you're quite intuitive. Your name..I'd like to know it." You requested.

"Oh, right! I should've told you earlier..my name is Twilight Sparkle, princess of Friendship!" She introduced herself.

You tilted your head.

"Ah, so you have a title like me..though I don't quite understand it." You admitted.

"Hm? Oh c'mon, don't tell me you don't have friendship in your world!" She giggled jokingly.

"Hm..friendship..I wonder if I've ever known it." You responded dryly.

"Huh?" She could notice the slight hint of melancholy in your eyes.

"Haha, never mind me. Anyways, are you truly a princess?"

She nodded with a grin.

"Yup! I'm one the four princesses of Equestria! I watch over and make sure to teach friendship to everyone, so everyone can learn to get along!" She told.

"Friendship? This again..is it truly an important thing that it needs a princess for it?" You asked, raising your brow.

"Of course it is!" Twilight responded with a big grin. "And..I'd love to show you!"

You let out a scoff, crossing your arms.

"You? Show me, the Heavenly Demon? You think you have something to teach me?" You questioned, giving off a slightly arrogant tone.

Twilight kept her a smile still, looking down at you.

"I think everyone can always be taught something, no matter how great they do or what they achieve. Everyone can always grow..and even now..I can see it in you." Twilight began.

You focused in on her, her words carrying interest. And it was quite rare for something to catch your interest. You listened in on her, wanting to hear more.

"Those eyes of your's..they're strong..but still lacking. From a glance, I can easily tell your powerful, but..not complete. You need something more than just fight, (Y/N)." She continued calmly.

Her words lingered in your mind.

She definitely knew what she was talking about. Twilight has a good eye for a person's character and was able to get a good read on them. She could also tell if one might need something to be truly at peace.

Something like..friendship.

"Friendship.." You spoke softly. "You mean, rather than to strike an opponent with my blade..I can merely talk with someone and enact good will upon them?"

She gave a small giggle, nodding.

"Of course you can! I'm not sure what kind of time you've had in your world, to get to the point that you're at now, but here? You don't to fight relentlessly or anything like that.."

The woman moved closer to you as she said this.

"Yeah..?" You questioned. "And what if I like it? What I wanna fight and keep walking over the corpses that I leave in my path?"

You smirked, hoping to rattle her and dissuade her approach.

But instead, she knelt down to your live, her lips formed into a gentle smile that could soothe the fiercest of hearts.

"I hope it's not presumptuous of me, but..I don't think you're truly like that..I think..you want to take a break from the bloodshed." Twilight answered.

"I also think..you're more deserving of friendship than you think. And if you'd let me.."

Her arms suddenly wrapped around you, pulling you into a soft embrace.

"I'd love to help you.."

You...

Stayed silent.

For the first time ever, you've questioned whether you truly needed to fight or a win a battle. You wondered if the path you've walked truly satisfied you.

You didn't regret it, of course. But you thought..weren't you tired? Just a little bit?

With just these few but impactful thoughts in mind, you let out a nice sigh.

"Hmph..if that's the case, I'll hold you to it." You answered, making the girl's eyes light up as she looked at you.

"Really?! You'll really let me teach you friendship?!" She gasped with delight.

"Yeah..and I don't see myself getting back to my old world anytime soon, so I'll need to fit in. And what better, than to have a princess help me?" You told her.

Twilight chuckled as she gazed at you.

"Well, I won't let you down, (Y/N)...I'll be sure to take good care of you!" She promised.

"Hmph.." You simply crossed your arms. "As you wish."

Sure, it was odd to trust and go with the wishes of some stranger who was an oddly colored humanoid pony princess you just met..

Even knowing that, you felt..content with this. You felt that..

Everything would be just alright..

~within one hour~

"WOW!" Twilight gasped, her face carrying astonishment.

"What? Shocked?" You asked with a grin curling on your lips.

You had just taken Twilight from the kobold forest straight back to Ponyville, after she had given you directions that you easily memorized.

With your shocking speed, you had cut a 3 day trip down into an hour one.

"That was amazing..you just keep surprising me more and more, (Y/N)!" The princess squeaked.

"Yeah, thanks. So, THIS is..Ponyville."

You scanned the area, seeing a prospering and lively town of humanoid ponies, going about their business.

"Huh..well, as Princess of Friendship, you sure do your job right. Everyone here is all friendly and peaceful..it's almost gross." You scoffed.

Twilight gave a light giggle at your comment.

"Well it isn't just me. This place is like this of everyone's hard work..aaaand, maybe me and my friends saving Equestria from certain doom time to time..." She said, rubbing the back of her head.

You raised an eyebrow.

"Doom..? Friends..? That's quite interesting." You hummed, looking at her with curiosity. "I take it this place gets..attacked?"

"Well, yeah..from here, to Equestria and..the whole world." She chuckled nervously.

"And you're saying the you've defeated these world-ending threats before..?" You asked, a bit surprised at this.

The princess nodded with a grin. "That's right! But not without the help of my friends! Like I said, it's because of friendship that we were able to pull through!"

You thought about her comment for a bit.

Being able to rely on others and defeat your enemies with the help of an ally..no, a friend. That concept was quite new to you.

"That sounds..amazing, if I'm being honest." You said blankly.

"Really? Your voice doesn't sound like it that much.." Twilight noticed, making you shake your head.

"It's just I've never had help from someone like that before..at least, not without them needing something in return or them pursuing their own interests.." You started.

"But you and your friends expect nothing like rewards and glory..you simply do it for the sake helping each other and saving others. It's:.admirable."

The princess blinked, before grinning from ear to ear from hearing this. She was happy to hear your perspective on such a thing and was even more confident she would be able to teach you about friendship.

"Ha..I'm really glad you realize that, (Y/N). And..the same goes for you too. I won't hesitate to help you if you need it..not one bit. And I won't ask for anything in return." Twilight declared to you.

"That's a promise."

You stared at the pony, seeing the assuring aura circling in her eyes. Again, you could tell she had no other motives and was sincere.

You gave a soft smile.

"You're really something..alright, I shall accept. And..I shall do what is in my power for the same to you." You stated.

She smiled even brighter.

"That makes me happy, (Y/N)..oh! I can't wait to introduce you to my friends!"
