When painkillers don't work.

Chozo,

This letter is addressed to @Chozowarrior , who was always there for me.

I have a medical condition that I can't spell- it's where my hip has too much fluid in the joint, which makes walking painful, and often makes the hip come out of place. Even sitting, typing this now, my hip aches. Painkillers don't do much, and i try not to take them, lest I become addicted.

But you were always there for me, despite everything. Whenever I had trouble, you helped, even if i was trying to hide the fact that it hurt to move. You always catch me when I fall, you always notice when I limp.

For this, I thank you.

I owe you so much, for being there even though I don't deserve it. I don't deserve you. And yet you stay. You help me so much, and I feel like I have nothing to offer in return. You deserve so much more, and yet you chose to be friends with me. I still don't know why, but I will always be grateful.

Even when I couldn't move, when I couldn't stand up, or when I had to clench my jaw and grit my teeth just so I didn't make a fuss, you still noticed, and you are so concerned for me- I don't know why, but you are always here. For this, I thank you.

You mean the world to me. You, out of everyone, always notice when something is wrong. And you help. I can rely on you, and even though it makes me incredibly guilty to ask for help so often, when I have nothing to give in return, I am grateful to have a friend like you.

Thank you, chozie. For everything.
