Scenario– Imagine that it's almost prom, and you still haven't been asked yet. Only to be asked by your high school crush.

Sammy's POV~

I stood at my locker with my best friend, Caleb and his girlfriend, Kelsey. I shoved my books into my locker, and grabbing my soccer bag. I turned around, slamming my locker shut.

"This sucks, you know?" I stated.

"What does?" Kelsey asked.

"Everyone's going to prom, and I'm not. I don't have a date." I sighed.

Caleb winked, "I heard Chad broke up with his girlfriend. Maybe he'll ask you."

I scoffed, "Okay. I'm a nobody. He's the quarterback for the football team."

"You're the captain for the soccer team." Kelsey defended.

"Who watches soccer?" I questioned.

Caleb laughed, "You didn't hear it from me, but I heard that his girlfriend broke up with him because she kept catching him staring you."

I rolled my eyes, "Yeah. Right."

"Come on, Sammy." Joey spoke. I turned my head to the left, seeing Joey and Spencer there. "You're beautiful, and you know it."

"Whatever. I've got to change. Are you guys coming to the game?" I asked.

Spencer nodded, "Duh!"

All of us ran off the field, adrenaline still pumping and excitement radiating off of us. I couldn't believe that I had just scored the winning goal. Our school hadn't beat this team in years.

"Nice one, captain!" Coach exclaimed, high fiving me.

I smiled, "Thanks."

Not even seconds later, I was being attacked in a hug by Kelsey. She was screaming something in my ear I couldn't understand.

After our coach could finally get Kelsey to calm down, she had hopped onto my back. All while coach was talking about our next game; which happened to be our first regional game.

Soon enough, all our teammates were leaving. Heading for the locker rooms, or their cars.

"Hey, Sammy?" Coach spoke.

I turned around, and looked at him. "Yeah?"

He smiled, "Put Kelsey down and turn around."

I nodded as Kelsey slid off my back, and dropped my things to the ground. I quickly spun around. Then saw my friends holding soccer balls thar spelt out "PROM?".

The only Chad Graham held a sign at the end of the row. That was decorated to look like a soccer a field.

"Wanna kick it at prom with me?" Chad asked sheepishly.

Kelsey grinned, and leaned up to whisper in my ear. "You better say yes."

I laughed and looked to her, "I was planning on it."

"Eeek!" She squealed.

I bit my lip and looked back to Chad. I nodded, "Yes."

He dropped the poster, and turned around, throwing his fists into the air and yelling. I looked to Kelsey and giggled.

She nudged me with her elbow, "See. I told you, so did Caleb."

I rolled my eyes, and slowly approached Chad. I smiled, gently pressing a kiss to his cheek.

"I guess you made the touchdown." I stated.

"Nah. I made my goal." Chad grinned.

Here's another. I just figured I'd post this one so I'm not keeping y'all waiting so long. I hope to have the other three up by sunday, that's my goal.

And obviously, this one shot was a high school AU with and OC and Chad. I thought it was cute. Anyway!
