Your POV~
I stood there, baffled. Who knew there were so many brands of one item? I just needed a container of guacamole. I had everything else.
I was just craving chips and guacamole. I don't understand. It's all the same stuff, so why so many brands?
"I just wanted guacamole. Just a five minute run," I whined, "But no! There's so many."
Of course, it was silent. I was alone. It was Wal-Mart at two in the morning. It was pretty empty except a few people.
I heard footsteps but thought nothing of it. A few laughs here and there. Sounded like the normal group of teenagers out past curfew.
"I'm hungry for guacamole," someone said.
I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion, that voice sounded oddly familiar.
Oh, please Lord, don't let it be anybody I know.
I wasn't in the proper attire to be seeing anyone I know. I was just in an Anthem Lights tanktop and leggings. It looked like I just crawled out of bed, with my hair in a ponytail.
"You're always wanting guacamole, Caleb." Someone else laughed.
I froze. Now I knew why I recognized those voices. They belonged to the guys of my favorite band.
I lived in a little itty bitty town, in the middle of nowhere. Why would they- wait! I completely forgot, they were having a concert here tomorrow afternoon.
I couldn't go because I couldn't afford to get in.
I took a deep breath as the four men rounded the corner, and I kept to myself. I didn't need the attention.
Sighing, I concentrated on the containers of guacamole on the shelves. I was so indecisive. How did my parents deal with me growing up?
"Excuse me, miss?" Alan asked.
I knew it was Alan just by his voice, and I could see his shadow towering over me. I was only a little 5'3 girl.
Slowly, I turned to face him. "Yes?" I choked out.
"My friend, Caleb, is wanting guacamole. Could you help us? You know, it seems as if you're buying the same thing." He smiled.
I laughed nervously, "Well, I would, but I'm having a hard time myself."
Joey grumbled, "Just choose one, Caleb. I'm tired."
"Shut up. I'm hungry." Caleb remarked.
I covered my mouth as a giggle slipped. They were much funnier late at night, and in person.
Chad rolled his eyes, "Ignore them. They're annoying."
I think Joey would've retaliated if he wasn't so short or in public. You should see them on twitter. It got messy, yet it was funny.
I snickered, "Of course. It's late."
"Yeah. The boys are tired." Alan nodded.
I turned back to shelves. I stood up on my toes, grabbing the container. With it in my hands, I swiftly turned back around and handed it to Caleb.
"Here, this one is my favorite. I think y'all will enjoy it." I smiled.
"Can we get a picture?" Joey asked.
I looked at him in confusion, all while the other three men smirked.
"Why?" I questioned slowly.
Joey laughed and shook his head, "You're a fan. You're wearing our merch."
I looked down at my shirt, forgetting that I had my AL tank top on. Oops.
"Sure," I shrugged.
I watched as the four guys got behind me, and Chad pulled out his phone. I smiled as the guys did, and Chad snapped the picture.
They dispersed afterwards.
"Can I get your number? So I can text it too you." Chad questioned.
I nodded and told him my number, along with my name. Chad smiled appreciative.
"Thanks, {Y/N}!" Caleb grinned.
"Are we gonna see you at the concert tomorrow?" Alan asked.
I shook my head, "Unfortunately, no. I'm tight on money, and I couldn't afford the ticket."
Joey sighed, "Too bad we're out of tickets."
"I'll text you afterwards. We could give your own personal show after." Chad grinned.
I shrugged, "Why not?"
