"The weather forecast is said to be getting worse as winds drag torrential rain over the country during the next week or two," the woman on the television informed the anonymous audience. Jaemin dropped down onto his couch to watch while boredly stirring his mocha. "A warning is cast out to the central Seoul area, especially those of the inhabitants surrounding the Han River. Precautions to take include-"

"Oh here we go again," the blonde sighed, sipping his hot drink and feeling somewhat listless as the darkness of the sky outside crept into his home through the uncovered windows. The top hatch was open slightly for air, allowing a gentle breeze to circulate.

A small speck of rain smacked off the glass, and then another, and another. Jaemin stared at the intruding droplets darkly, ignoring the burn of the mug between his hands, his finger pads searing and begging to be taken away.

Thus, the storm had begun.

Renjun made the bed lazily, having rearranged it three or four times now with nothing better to do. The eery light shed by the bulb above his head created a dim, yellow hue over the room. Everything seemed so dull right now...

As he backed away from the bed frame and tiredly sauntered towards the door to find someone to entertain him, a sudden cold shiver tingled against his spine. The male spun around, furrowing his brows in confusion since when underground, there were no windows. Hell, Donghyuck had eliminated any draughts that dared to pass through when everyone first relocated down here.

"Where's that coming from....?" He wondered, moving back inside properly and taking small steps around to find a sneaky hole in the wall, or perhaps a leak. But there was nothing.

As Renjun tilted his head and imagined he could simply ask Johnny, their constructionist, about it, something small and white caught the corner of his eye. There was something sitting on his pillow, that had most definitely not been there before.

"Bye, Ji," Donghyuck waved to the young adult as he started trailing towards the door of the play-school. Everyone had gone home now, which was a relief to the exhausted co-workers.

"See you," the blonde nodded, still moseying around to clean the last of the messes and fix up some quick food for tomorrow to keep in the fridge. His hands were fast as he dragged a cloth over the table and collected the stray pieces of play-dough and food into his hand to bin.

Hyuck subtly sent him this sad look, wondering what it was that Jisung even did to entertain himself outside of work. Did he have more friends waiting for him beyond this building? Did he go straight home just to come back here again the next day? Was he lonely?

"We should go out together and have some fun sometime," he mentioned, pulling his bag further up his shoulder as he watched a small smile streak across the taller's cheeks.

"Really? Like what?"

"This is a city, Ji. A big one. Think about it and you choose what it is you enjoy, okay?" The older waved again, starting to head out.

Jisung simply stood there for a while, wondering for the first time what he did actually enjoy. Jeez, I don't do anything with my life, do I?

He sighed, continuing to potter on and get some of the annoying chores out of the way so that Donghyuck wouldn't have to do them tomorrow.

Jaemin picked up his phone at the sound of a message coming through. The notification was bright to his unadjusted eyes, making him blink a few times before opening it and groaning.

"Damn it, Jen. How do you always find me?" He couldn't help but smile faintly, reading over it and shaking it head.

There's a fun club I was told to try around here. Come with me on Thursday.

I thought you said you'd stay out of my hair...

I lied ;)

"He's a giant child," Jaemin muttered to himself as he considered the offer and knew in his heart he should say 'no'. Jeno had been one of a few reasons why Jaemin left the city he had first run to. They were getting too close and Jeno was clearly starting to feel a lot more for him than they had initially agreed to. No strings attached meant no feelings....yet the blonde couldn't find it in himself to hurt the older with a clean break like he wanted to.

Why he was responding to the text with a 'sure, why not?', he didn't know. It was a sort of guilt that shadowed him as he counted the days in his head. It was Monday night. There were about three days until he potentially got dragged into another one of Jeno's games.

His mind immediately flicked to Donghyuck for some reason, and he didn't like it. Whatever was twisting the wires in his brain, he needed it to stop. He didn't want this, this feeling.

Correction: he didn't want feelings at all.

Renjun edged closer to the small piece of paper resting on his pillow, the very air in his throat catching in his windpipe and leaving him breathless. It was something he had thrown to the back of his mind....an image he wanted to destroy long ago.

"Oh, you're fucking kidding me," he whispered, lunging forward and ripping it from the soft fabric. His small fingers clutched the damn thing so tightly it started to crumple. "I'm going crazy.....I must be."

The smile Jaemin wore in the picture as he cuddled both Renjun and Mark sent a strange grinding sensation down to the pit of the male's stomach. It was sore. Maybe going by the name of 'betrayal'. Even seeing the ex-leader there, colour in his cheeks and an innocent expression....it was too much.

"Careful, Junnie. You'll rip it," someone murmured from behind him, making the Chinese adult yelp and spin around. He was always on guard, always ready for anything....yet he hadn't sensed anything near him.

"Who the fuck-" he attempted to spit, though refrained when his eyes caught someone he never would've expected. Now he knew he was going crazy.

"Miss me?"

Jisung whined as he stepped out of the building to find splatters of rain dropping from the heavens like tears. He hadn't brought a coat, which wasn't very clever. The darkness above was fought off by the street lamps lining the sidewalk, so there was no need to panic over it too much.

I'll just walk fast, he decided, holding his hands over his head to protect his hair to the best of his abilities. It didn't really matter in the long run, since he still went to work regardless of whether he was sick and dying or on cloud9. The boy was too hard on himself.

As his long legs took large strides in the direction of his home, a shadowed figure emerged from the side of a building. A cafe, even.

Do I know them? He wondered, still keeping with his pace in fear of being mugged. There wasn't exactly a lot he possessed of steal-worthy value, though he was a good looking boy with a cute face. Things could get nasty depending on the crime.

"You!" The stranger hissed from his place on the side of the pedestrian pathway. "Blondie!"

Jisung froze, completely drenched all the way through now as he lowered his arms and turned to view the man who proceeded to approach him. "Pardon?"

"Ugh, don't look so suspicious. What if I had been a lost foreigner asking for directions?"

"You aren't?"

"Whatever. I saw you come from that play-school. Do you work there?"

".....Maybe."

"Be straight with me or lose your voice-box altogether. Your choice. Now, do you work there? Or are you a teen parent?" The boy snapped.

"I'm twenty-"

"Come on!"

"Shit, I work there. Oh my god...." Who is this guy? He's freaking me out! The blonde couldn't help but shiver against the freezing water running down his back underneath his clothes. The ginger man his age had an intimidating aura about him, and it wasn't one to be messed with.

"Okay, easy. Now, do you work with Donghyuck?"

"Please don't hurt him..."

"I'm not your enemy here, Kid. I'm not his either. I just need to know if you spend time together at the weekends as well."

"Look, I don't even know your name. I may be scared shitless right now, but I have a phone and I'll-"

"Chenle, damn it! I'm Chenle! Now tell me what's wrong with Hyuck!"

As Jisung watched the expressionless face of the older shift into one of slight urgency, he wondered if now was a good time to run. Maybe anytime was a good time....
